DISGUSTING FOOD and horrible customer service, the manager/ cook is an incompetent naïve a**hole. He does not take responsibility for his employees mistakes and will not compensate you for their mistakes even when theyre late 2 hours!!!! SERIOUSLY it took them 2 hours to find a department building for the University when theyre located down the street on Wescott LMAO! Food wouldve be somewhat good if there wasnt a CHICKEN SPINE in my food!!!!! How hard is it to cut the chicken up, I asked him "WHY YOU LEAVE CHICKEN BONES WITH THE FOOD?" He answered with another question "do chickens come with bones at the market?"... that was his answer to my question!?!?! And there is a thing called boneless chicken. Do yourself a favor and go to alto cinco instead, anywhere but here. Im really disappointed, the manager claims to have worked there for 15 years...you think theyd learn some customer service skills.

Walked in and looks like a hole in the wall, but thats ok, cause Ive had some good food come from hole in the walls.. I walked up to where the food was at and I didnt get a hello or nothing. Looks like a sweet girl, but with no training.. I had to ask her for attention... I ordered oxtail and it couldve been better.. it needs tomato sauce, fresh herbs, and less oil. Rice and beans were good. Whoever is running the place, you need to watch some videos or tv shows on how to improve your service and food.. what can u do to make it better? I know it costs money, but the little things u do will draw back customers even if u charge the customer more money. Believe me, they will pay if its more unique. Make people say, "Damn thats good.. how did u make that dish.. Ill be back for more!" I hope this is taken as constructive criticism, because I want to see a successful Latino restaurant grow.

First, we got hung up on by the person taking our order. We decided to order online (because of the lack of authentic Spanish food in the area). Told 20 minutes, took twice as long. Half of the things we ordered they were out of, and they were out of the replacements we wanted as well. The empanadas were tasteless and gross (which was the whole reason I wanted Spanish). The Pechuga de pollo salteada was cold, even though it was the last thing they made. It was tasty but I shouldnt have to warm up food I just picked up. Will not go back.

I called to order and I was placed on a 15 minute hold. Once I was able to order, the cashier instantly gave the phone to someone else so I could provide them with my credit card information. The guy gets on the phone yells "She has 20 people in front of her, so you need to speak louder". I simply said never mind due to the poor customer service. I order here ALL the time and I am simply over the rudeness.

I seen a lot of customer service reviews are bad on here I can see you where you guys get that from I just think the girl there is Young and is inexperienced and customer service she just does the job however with that being said I believe the food is great unfortunately I never look at the menu I just grab whats there and I must say it is fantastic food its really worth going there

Horrible service, walked in and the lobby was empty and my wife, my son and I sat down and waited sitting down for 10 mins until getting tired of waiting. So I get up and asked the server " excuse me, who do we order through?" Her response sarcastically " through the menus". I kept my composure said "okay thanks" went back to the table, grabbed my family and left. Never again !!!!

Good food but the absolute worst customer service. Been quite a few times and experience was the same everytime with different cashiers. Very slow also. Even with the food that is already made it is still at least a 15 minute wait. Never open on time. When I asked how long it would be for plantains, the response was "I dont know". This will be my last time here.

The food is really good-- if the "waitress" ever even gets around to bring it to you. Ive been there 3 times and each time was the worst service in my life. Only because the food was great did I even try returning. Last time they didnt even bring us our food. Staff acts like they hate white people. Never going there again!

Rude ass b***ch answered the phone. Wasnt even patient. She obviously doesnt like her job and is miserable with life. They dont do tacos, burritos, nor sandwiches but yet its on the menu. And when I addressed it to her she said that the menu was wrong with the nastiest attitude.

When the food reminds you of moms and grandmas cooking you know youve found a good thing. This place has savory home cooking from the Spanish speaking Caribbean. The feel is like hanging out in the family kitchen and sneaking a taste from the pot simmering on the stove.

they always get something in your order wrong. if i pay a dollar extra for garlic sauce for my tostones then i should have garlic sauce when it gets delivered. i dont understand why something stupid like this would happen

They should just take Oxtails off the menu because its never available .. started calling to see if they have them instead of wasting gas. Chick at the from always says "Later" but its a lil.. just be honest

Tasty food, not enough staff. Order took too long (food was already prepared and ready, but not served for 20+ min). The food was excellent though, it was worth the wait.
