So unfortunately this was a horrible experience and I wont be back! My co-worker ordered our food through an app or whatever and when I got there they said they didnt receive those anymore. So she said she would have to re do it and didnt put in the order. Then she tells me she did find the order but I would have to pay and get a refund for being charged on the app. Then another minute later she says never mind she had all the info. Sooo its not that they dont take those orders if the payment went through but that they didnt check it. So benefit of the doubt. This girl was the only sever there. She was nice but everything was just poorly executed. She told me it would be 10 min. I waited and it took 20. Then she tells me my steamed spinach would take an extra 10min. It does not take 30min! So I went with corn instead. I waited another 5 min for her to come back. I finally got my food (which I saw her taking food from the buffet so I think that was ours). I asked if I could get some lemons and I wanted to purchase a carrot cake that my co worker wanted. She charged me then abruptly walked away while she said thank you have a nice day. I had to call her back and ask if I was supposed to grab my own cake out of the display (not being rude but it was confusing). She apologized and grab the cake out. then left again. She forgot about the lemons so I had to ask AGAIN. The food was pretty much crap. You could make a better version at home honestly. She gave me drinks that my co worker ordered with soda dripping down the sides that got my hands all sticky. The whole thing was a mess. Thier desserts werent even refrigerated! so gross!

Been here over 1.5 hours and still no dinner. Took close to 10-15 minutes to get menus. Beer spilled on us had to ask for napkins and silverware. Its a shame because the apitizers that took an hour to get were delicious. I hope dinner is good. Be prepared to wait hours for dinner if your coming. Oh dinner made it! Oh dang only for three of our group. Edit: dinner was burnt and when I asked for it to be taken off the bill, since I was not going to wait for it to be fixed, after they removed it the waitress had the audacity to tell me I should have told her immediately when she asked how the good was. I would have sweet heart but no one came over and ******* asked me. To bad I cant do negative stars.

I used to go to this restaurant before they moved and they were good. I only had an issue with the curry goat being under cooked (tough). Now that theyve moved the goat is still tuff and each time Ive ordered the jerk chicken salad or the jerk wings the salad tasted like it was washed in soap or cut on a poorly rinsed cutting board. Also, the chicken has been under cooked on both dishes. Ive tried all three dishes beyond a second chance and told them about my issues after the second time on each, but still no changes. Just stick with anything stewed like oxtail or brown stewed chicken. No complaints there or on the sides.

Good dining experience. We eent for dinner on a Thursday about 7:30 p.m. immedoately seated, waiter was friendly and reviewed beverage list and menu. Jerked chicken was spicy. The fried fish was cooked to perfection, batter light but crunchy but a tad bit salty. The sides: mac and cheese, cabbage, green beans and collards were delicious. Lot of food for the price. Beer and wine but no alcohol.

The food was great. We went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised to get the buffet. I tried fish, jerk chicken, curry, meatloaf, rice and beans, potatoes, salad bar, and Red Stripe. Everything was excellent. Our 5 year old got the buffet and the kitchen also sent out chicken tenders for him,since they werent on the buffet. Well be visiting every time were in North Carolina.

We had the buffet. It was good but not great... price was good! Would be nice to have more selection. The fruit on the salad bar was very nice. The staff was friendly but shockingly not very attentive .. there was only one other table besides ours so wasnt like they were busy. Will give them another try some time.. hoping the buffet will have more in it.

Great food and great atmosphere. Im very hopeful that this place attempts to absorb some of the dwindling Elizabeth City nightlife in the near future. This place has a such a wonderful atmosphere that I couldnt help but think of how nice it would be to have a few drinks after dinner hours. No draft beers is slightly disappointing.

Love this little local spot! Celebrated my moms birthday here tonight. Food was great and service was so pleasant. Food took a little while but everything was made fresh and super delicious! Pleasantly surprised and we will definitely be back!
