If I could give five stars based on the Venue I had my boyfriends dinner, I definitely would. However, our first experience there (1/21/17) even with a large party and paying good money was disastrous. I set up a large party initially in the game room for 16 people, but told them I wanted to be sure it was a place that could hold a larger capacity of people if more were able to come. After setting the reservation management called telling me they double booked the game room and they would allow us to have our party in the beer cellar for free do to their mistake. Our reservation was set for 830, we got there at 835... First 20 to 30 we were waiting for a server. Having to wait for drinks and our server to return, we finally ordered about 10 food came 40 minutes later, well for some of us others didnt get their food til after we were done eating. We ended up having to bus our own tables; waiting forever for simple things from refills, condiments, and checks. We only had one server who also had tables upstairs and being a former server in a much busier restaurant I know how demanding things are so I did and do not blame this on our server Andrew whatsoever. There was one server who assisted him if you call it that with a bad attitude as though she didnt want to help him out and even with her help we didnt get anything we asked for. The server was required to bring drinks and food with no help. I blame this on management that never assigned a server only for our dinner party nor came down to check on us and didnt come once we asked to speak to them because of our experience. I expected concerned individuals to listen and understand that we were very disappointed, especially it being a special occasion. All around it wouldve been great if we had some form of hospitality and proactive service. As for our server Andrew, we had the most empathy for...he tried his very best; he kept his positive attitude and composure through many of our frustration.

Went here with a friend to have dinner. The food was good but the service was terrible! We saw our waitress all of 3 times. Once when she took our order, another when she dropped off the drinks, and one last time when she asked (after we were done eating) if we were ready for the check. We ordered an appetizer. That never came out and she didnt even acknowledge it. She looked at the table, saw that our entrees came out, looked at me and then walked away to avoid having that conversation. Then our drinks were empty pretty much all night. The manager was the one who finally noticed us sitting there waiting for our bill. Hes the one who had to refill our drinks and get us our bill, while our waitress was nowhere to be seen. It was a Friday night, around 8pm. Theres really no reason this should have happened. As someone who has worked in the restaurant business before this was very frustrating. I know how hard the job can be but its really not that hard to acknowledge/notice whenever there is mistake and offer to fix it or get management involved. Not ignore it! It was a very disappointing experience. I dont want to pay upwards of 100 dollars for bad service. Will probably not be going back. P.S. It is terribly loud in there due to the fact that everything is a hard, wood surface and the whole restaurant is basically a long hallway. The sound bounces and echoes everywhere. My friend and I had to yell just to hear each other all night. Also an insane amount of people crowd around the bar which is also right next to the entrance, making it hard to walk at all in that area because no one wants to move out of the way.

Fredericksburg location. My Fiancee and I decided to take a day trip and check out Old Town Fredericksburg today. I was excited to see that you all have a location in the middle of it all. I learned a month or so ago that you have an expansive Gluten free menu from your Innsbrook location. (BTW: great service at that location). We decide to sit at the bar which we always do for quicker service. Boy were we wrong on that thought! It took the bartender 10 minutes to acknowledge us and another 5-10 minutes to get our drinks. This is where it really started going down hill. We ordered lunch. 40 minutes after we ordered the lunch, I inquired about our food (which was a salad and club sandwich). Long story short, we finally got our lunch 1 hour and 20 minutes after we sat down and half of the order was wrong. Big difference between a Cobb Salad and a Pretzel. I felt for the Bar Tender. One Bar Tender at lunch on a holiday??? He comped our meal and apologized. My comment to him was thank you and the GM of this location should have their butt kicked for under staffing the location. I did leave him a tip. As the place began to fill up, I began to wonder if I should advise the new guests of the poor service. I decided against it. Who ever is running this place needs to get there act together. Thanks for ruining our trip.

Unfortunate Experience.... We were a party of x4 coming in to seek lunch (APR 23, 2017) during lunch rush and were told to sit at the table by the front of the restaurant after waiting for a table to clear for 20 mins (it is a popular place and that is to be expected). After being seated, the host started to take our order when the waitress came up to take over the host responsibilities. After complementing my service dog, for 5 minutes, she found out that we did not have a party of x8 only a party of x4 in her section and then proceeds to deny us service for having a service dog. I understand that there are rules and regulations but to be motivated by tips and party size, excusing rules and regulations of industry only when financially favorable is not a good practice. It is one thing to be told upfront upon entering the door that I am not allowed to bring in a service dog, but it is another thing to be waiting for 20 mins, serviced by the staff, then after being told that the table which seats eight will only be a party of x4 to then be denied service is low brow and despicable, thus lacking propriety. I have eaten there in the past with no issue from the friendly and very courteous staff and excellent food. And it is popular for a reason, many good reasons.

Was shopping Caroline Street with a friend during Christmas Open House. The manager seated us, waiter took our order. Half an hour later we start seeing a lot of food coming out. None of it was ours. No sign of our waiter, we flag another, who says she will get him. 10 minutes later our waiter comes over and says a large party was served ahead of us. I asked him why we were not told by him or the manager that a large party was in front of us. He said it would still take a while before we got our food but he would bring over the manager. When she came, she was not sorry in the least. I asked her why she didnt warn of us the wait and she said, Well we thought we could get your order in ahead of theirs. WELL SHE IS THE MANAGER. She can arrange what she wants. She said, its still going to be a little while, would you like some fries while you wait? FRIES? Those would have come with our meal. No thank you!. She just did not care, and it showed. After more protests, she offered to comp our meal, which would STILL BE SOME TIME!.. We left without eating and will never, ever, ever, ever, ever come back. Poor service, bad management.
