This a great place with good coffee, which is really a better alternative to Starbucks. It is very well located right in the heart of the Mosaic district. However, register is really slow sometimes (depending on whos working it) and lines get big; hence, long waiting just to pay or order something. I dont understand why theres only one register if theres room to add a second one; they use iPads as register and these dont take much of space. Dont get me wrong, as I said, coffee is really good, along with other options in the menu such as ice-cream popsicles (great for summer!). They only need to improve their payment process to reduce time to ring customers.

Great spot to grab coffee and delicious sandwhiches! The baristas and staff are always nice and its great when they acknowledge their frequent customers. The best sandwhich is their breakfast croissant with shirred egg, bacon, avocado spread, chipotle mayo and more! Not so good for groups unless outdoor seating is available during the warmer months. Thank you Miroslav, Bastien, and the rest of the fam for always making this a pleasant visit!

Wonderful coffee and pastries. Be sure to try the Almond Croissant. Its about as close to Parisian croissant as I can find on this side of the Atlantic. Employees are often a little cold and falsely pretentious. The outside tables are a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine and people watching, although the recent influx of Pokemon Go players have diminished the atmosphere a bit.

I really wanted to like this place, because I hate Harbucks. Everyone was nice, service good, etc. But the coffee was horrible -- worse than the dumb machine they have at my office -- and very overpriced. Their large is a medium in the rest of the world. For 1/3 the price theres much better coffee at 7/11 or McDonalds. Nothing beats Petes Coffee though.

Okay, this place is good, the atmosphere is awesome and the coffee is good. Nothing beats soaking in Mosaic from the center of it all. However, its pretty expensive (I guess thats the price for luxury) and the staff arent super friendly. But its still good (especially their Chai) and great place to do or meet with someone when its good weather.

Asked for a large hot chocolate, paid 4.25 and a tip for a hot chocolate that was smaller than the palm of my hand that i drank in like 5 sips, -not exaggerating either- it wasnt even filled up all of the way. Plus they made drinks for people that were behind me in line before mine. Over priced for no reason. Sticking to starbucks from now on

A bit small and the coffee choice is limited, but the pastries are good looking. The croissant was pretty good and the prices are reasonable. Only major complaint was how slow and loud it was-although the noise may be due to how cold it was outside. But they could turn down the music so we dont have to shout.

The best espresso drinks in Merrifield area. Possibly the best lattes that I have ever had. The food is of a wide election for a small cafe, and always excellent. The location is perfect for relaxing indoors or out. Highly recommended.

High quality pastries, ok hot food, but if you order any food item requiring prep be prepared to wait. Doesnt look like theyre properly set up for the food short orders, slow and awkward for what looks to be regular weekend rush.

Good coffee. Plenty of workspace (mainly outside...great for the summer). Inside has limited seating (5 tables). No bathrooms. Ambience is perfect for working remote. Free parking garage and Wifi. Wifi password is on the tip jar

Best espresso in the area by far. Absolutely no one compares to the taste of their espresso. Ive also tried the nitro brewed cold coffee and it was great; smooth wonderful flavors. Service is somewhat lacking.

Good coffee (espresso was a bit sour, but the drip was good). Good food, although the breakfast biscuit is tiny for the price. I love the layout and the massive amounts of windows. Not a lot of seating.

The coffee is amazing and so are the croissants. A good casual place to grab some light fare. Indoor seating is limited, so be prepared to sit outside or take your coffee to go.

always busy, you can sneak across the street to get their coffee faster normally, unless everybody and their mom wants gellato.

Lovely café in a glass box. This an off shoot of dolce zaa so the coffee is great. The recent food menu additions are fantastic.

Had a vanilla bean latte and sat outside tonight. Beautiful latte art, delicious latte, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere.

Good food. Coffee is definitely third-wave inspired, so expect their double espressos to come in under an ounce.

A trendy more expensive version of Starbucks. Im sure the location drives up the prices, but the lattes are rich.
