Mamma Lucia is a great place to go eat, the food is exquisite and the ingredients they use are always fresh and high quality. Their pizza is truly amazing, made to order and for only $18.99 you can get two large cheese pizzas, and even if that may seem a little expensive compared to chains like Dominos and Pizza Hut the quality of ingredients and flavor is the reason why. As for their pasta dishes, theyre absolutely amazing, combining fresh ingredients and homemade sauce it provides flavor and a large portion for a small price compared to other restaurants. Also, dont be shy to try one of their great chicken and veal dishes like chicken cacciatore and veal parmigiana or any of their other specials. Mamma Lucias is great for people on diets as well as they have a selection of salads including a greek and baby chef salad that you can get with their homemade italian dressing that makes salad something to desire. Lastly, if youre ever craving a steak & cheese or any other sub, make sure to go to Mamma Lucias as they offer a great deal for only $7.99, where you get a 7" sub, a plate of delicious fries and a medium drink that is sure to fill you up.

Ive been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and I dont know about the pizza (because I have never tried) but they have the best steak and cheese in town and that is why I keep returning to this place, the service has change I agree with the two comments below but the flavor of that steak and cheese is still AWESOME!!! Maybe Mama Lucia should comment of the two reviews below as why the pizza (which I heard before) was the best and now it taste horrible (according to the comments below) Anyhow go on and I dare anyone to go and tried their Steak and cheese, you will love it.

We tried a few months ago, and noticed they were skimping on the sauce and cheese and that the crust and doe had changed. Overall, it lacked the flavor we had come to enjoy 10 years ago and until about last year. Just had it again tonight, and I agree with Donna, below, we wont go back. They expanded, then partner left, then turned over to the new owner, (Wife and son), and quality went way down. This comes from a native newyorker who thought he found good pizza in Fairfax. Although Ive referred a number to them before, no more. Sorry Mama Lucias!

The best pizza in northern VA. Excellent pasta dishes as well with really tasty red sauce. Cheesesteaks very good. House vinegarette really good. The seating environment for groups out in the "mall " area lacks warmth and is sort of drab but that is not what you come to this place for. Their fries are also excellent. Crinkle cut and very crispy on the outside. When they have soup, it is really really good! The homemade tortellini soup is my favorite. It battles for space in my tummy with the pizza. Yum!

Im not sure how to rate this restaurant without hurting their business. I hadnt been there in several months since theyve moved. None of the original people were there. From the very first bite I could tell the pizza had changed. After the 2nd piece, I pulled off the cheese and pepperoni and threw the crust, green peppers and mushrooms away. Very disappointing. I wont go back.

This is by far the best place for cheesesteaks and pizza in the Nova area. Ive been coming here for as long as I can remember, and the food is always amazing. The owner is so dedicated to her business and patrons. No matter when Ive gone to eat here, shes always there to greet me with a smile. Highly recommend this place.

I grew up in NYC enjoying the worlds best pizza. Hard to find good pizza outside the New York metropolitan area. Mama Lucias is as close as youll get in Fairfax. Great pizza, nice people, and convenient location. What more could you ask for in a pizza place?

The manager ( a lady) is very rude, unprofessional and likes to argue with the customers. She counted money and then without washing her hands she making pizza with the same dirty hands. I will never go to her place again.

The manager was really rude to the lady in front of us in line. Also the "New York style" (lol) pizza was extremely runny and all the cheese and toppings fell off!
