Just swung by on a gloomy Saturday morning on my way into work in desperate need of a coffee. The owners behind the counter were as friendly as could be, adding some badly needed sunshine to my morning. I asked them to fill me up with their strong stuff, which, whatever it is, has turned out to be delicious. Alongside several other tasty looking pastries, they had Carpe Donuts for sale. Yum. I may have to add them to my morning routine.

My favorite coffeeshop in all of Cville. Welcoming environment that encourages everyone to get to know one another--whether youre working behind the counter or are another customer. Delicious treats, too (the nutella-stuffed, chocolate chip cookie with sea salt!?!). Miss this place and the people so much! Lorie, Brittany, Jaime, Michael--yall are the best!

My favorite coffee shop in Charlottesville, not because its the most spacious or best decorated (its not), but because the coffee is amazing and the people are amazing. If you live near UVA or Frys Spring, this is almost a community meeting spot; the place to run into friends and hear the local news. Everybody Ive met here is amazing.

Their coffee is topnotch, as are their treats especially the scones. I always enjoying seeing what theyll local artist theyll have hanging from the walls next. I just wish they stayed open longer & Ive been disappointed by the closed sign on Sundays [though I do understand they are just getting started and need a day off]

I wouldnt really characterize this place as "friendly". They insisted on charging me for milk, and with a terrible attitude at that. Im not from VA, but I have never been forced to pay for adding milk to my coffee. Maybe they just dont like "my kind" around these parts or something. Success! I shall not be returning.

Tiny little spot with bar seating and one other table inside. Friendly owners and they are wise to get baked goods from ABC and tacos from Brazos. Several outdoor tables for warmer days. Wish they were open after 3pm and open on Sundays but that wish is purely selfish.

Great iced coffee. The spinich quiche with feta was delicious. Perfectly heated and crispy crust. Like a library with patrons all on their laptops. Very friendly owners. Im cycling cross-country and have a rest day. Im going to hang out here all day.
