I never go back after i had terrible experience in IHOP. Long time ago, we went to IHOP at late night. 1. One girl gave us straw with ink on it. we want to ask her for other straw but she refused to give new straw. she told us to use it and inside straw is clean. 2. while we eating we need more drink but none of employee came and never checking up on our table. we saw all of emplyoee hangaround and laughing in the corner. 3. we gave one of emplyoee for our payment. but none of them are came back for change. ( we paid with cash) 4. they made us wait to get a money change for long time... anyway we gave them money so we decide to leave. its going to be forever to get our change back..... suddenly one employee call us very loud shouting and make us wait. he think we just leaving without pay. we told that guy we paid with cash and he went to back to the store for checking up. none of employee came back to us to say sorry and tjey just made us keep stay in outside. that night was very cold!!! we got more angry and back to the store but they looking at me and my parent like ghost!!! none of say sorry!!!! they just ignore us!!!! ARE they judge customers with how they look?? or how they wear cloth???? I never forget how their behavior was different with other customer and how they did to us!!!

Well I have been going to this IHOP for over 8 years and never had a problem till this day, except on Friday nights with other customers yelling and talking like they live in the ghetto. However, on this particular occassion, one Latino young adult was screaming on the phone using every curse word in the book and nobody, to include the Manager, would do anything about the situation in a timely manner so I had to say something to the customer. In addition to that, she (The Manager) was watching me, while I was seated and waiting for over 15 minutes for a server to come and take my order and seeing other people served ahead of me, I believe the Manager decided to make sure I was not served, which led me to walk out and go to another IHOP. I will never forget this incident and will never return to that IHOP. I thought in business you are supposed to take care of your customers? I guess that is not true in the U.S. any longer. Well cannot wait to get my MBA completed. Thank you! Now I will spread the word around how lousy ur night management is. In the future, you might want to approach the customer trying to help you and apologize for the problem and thank them for helping you resolve the situation more rapidly than to treat them like crap!

Upon entering several staff passed me without a simple acknowledgement. I had to stop a server to ask was someone going to seat me...long story short, I was finally seated, server took order, I waited 20+ mins for eggs, bacon and grits....while the food was semi hot the grits were cold. I didnt want to wait for it to be corrected, because I had already waited long enough. I observed a woman and child be seated and passed several times by server, after 10 mins of not being assisted, they walked out. Additionally, I observed another table ask the manager for the check BECAUSE he his server had not stopped by. The server was trying her best, but needed help. I will think twice about returning to this IHOP.

The staff and management were great, but I could not believe how the menu was structured. I ordered a build-your-own vegetarian omelet. When I received the bill I realized that the egg omelet with 4 sides cost $17+. Could not believe what I was about to pay for, so I asked for an explanation why an egg omelet with 4 sides cost $17+. According to the menu, if I ordered an egg without any sides, the egg would cost approximately $10+. The manager understood and adjusted my bill by taking several dollars off my final payment, but the cost of an egg with vegetables, cheese, and a side of pancakes has increased significantly and Im going to think twice before I patronize this establishment again.

Ive been to this IHOP many times. It gets a little ghetto from time to time but the staff is pretty decent from time to time. I have had my order mixed up or wrong a few times but the staff is only human, it happens. The food is good just as any other IHOP is. It is in a very accessible location (visible from route 29) with ample parking. Those of you who have been to an IHOP expect the same quality food. The employees pretty much make the restaurant. Ive had more good experiences than bad so I definitely would recommend this place if youre looking for a quick affordable breakfast spot.

I have been to this place a couple of times before and my experience has been just ok, not great not bad either. But my most recent visit was terrible. Our waitress was this old lady with a southern accent who doesnt seem to have any idea about customer service. Apparently she messed up our order that caused the delay but she wanted to blame the cooks for her fault. We lost our patience and left after waiting for an hour and she didnt even apologize when she saw us leave without breakfast. Is that what they call the southern hospitality ??? Wont be going to this place again.

Have not been back here during day time in a while. But I do swing by occasionally after midnight after work for some take out. And it will take forever to get someone attentions! Usually 15+ minutes for someone to finally come out. Then more waiting for the food to come. However staff are friendly despite the late hours. Food is as expected from these places. Prices have gone up steadily. Not sure I like the flavor for the price range. But thats in general, and not this particular spot fault.

Even though Ive had issues in the past here with subpar food and much worse service, the hubby and I decided to give it a try again since we live nearby, and Im glad we did! We came in during a lull, 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon, and eveyone seemed.fairly relaxed and in a good mood. The manager (I think) took care of us, was always friendly and attentive, and we never felt rushed or ignored. To top it off, the food came out fantastic! (I think I have a new favorite with the criss croissants.)

IHOP has finally got it right in Centreville. I was greeted by a gracious hostess. My waitress was patient and thoughtful and my food was just the way I ordered. Its clear that the new management is focused on serving the best food IHOP has to offer and is clearly aware of his customers and devoted to their comfort. It was a cold evening, when the heat came on, he went to every table to ask if the heat was comfortable enough. Excellent place for a family meal.

So we show up wait 35 min to be sat with no one in here..... then takes 20 min to ask for drinks then 25 min to get them over an hour and thirty min for food.... really sad service here when the place is empty..... other ppl at the door 45 min no service..... honestly my meal and my whole table should be free for suck bad service...... time to change servers and management this place is sad....... this place is a sad excuse for ihop
