This place has good food and a good atmosphere. There is one thing that I dont like about it and this may sound petty but they charge for each soda refill. It costs $2.99 for the first and $.59 for each refill. I think thats pretty crazy considering I havent been charged for a soda refill in my entire life and they didnt tell me prior to getting a refill. Granted it might say on the menu (didnt look) but why charge for a soda refill when it costs pennies. Thats why no one charges in the first place. I asked the waitress why they charge for refills and its because "it comes in a 24 once glass." I frequented the establishment quite often and only drank beers, which is why Im only finding out about this refill charge now. It is safe to say I will not be going back over this idiotic $.59 refill charge.

Great tasting New York steak. Ambience was nice but not my server 562, at 8:54pm on March 15,2016. She concentrated on if I get my food, drinks and no empty glasses. No passion or smiles, just frowns and just getting her job done. She is not interested to initate small talk even though I was alone. It felt like she just want to turn my table for the crowd. For first time tourist in USA, its just bad impression. I was contemplating on tipping. It was a tough decision but I gave few bucks for the kitchen crew if she shared the tips. Manager did check on how I was but it felt like routine questions with no connection. First and last visit here. Thanks again for the lovely steak. It was lovely. Thats 2 stars for the kitchen crew!

Wings were not very good with little meat and more grissle along with the food temp slightly warm. We ordered a bucket of beer on their special and pointed out to the waiter the special and he said you could choose any bottled beer with that special ($16) so we did and the bill reflected we paid full price ($25). We brought this on the waiters attention and instead of him apologizing, he tried to justify why we were being charged the full price and how we looked at the menu however we pointed out the special specifically. One additional thing was I ordered water also and never received a refill. The environment and facility are nice and they offer a lot of TVs which is nice along with the pool tables and darts.

Hostess Tasha was very rude. I asked for water and she forgot it twice all while bringing the other drinks to the table, and when I asked a third time she basically told me to hold my horses. I spoke to one of the managers, Melinda, and she let me know that she would talk to Tasha about it because that is not the kind of customer service Crystal City Sports Pub wants to known for. She also asked me if there is anything she could do to make up for that experience. I definitely hope she speaks to Tasha about her bad attitude and poor customer service. I give this pub 4 stars based on the strength of my conversation with the manager Melinda.

Great Sunday morning breakfast service! We admittedly tried out Crystal City Sports Pub, because there was a line reaching outside of Bob & Ediths Diner; weve never visited the area, so didnt expect it and didnt feel like waiting; were glad we did not wait! Crystal City Pub wasnt lined out the door, not empty either, but we were seated immediately. Crystal City Sports Pub has a nice covered outdoor patio area along a relatively quiet street; more pedestrians than cars. Food was good and served as requested. Bathroom was clean, so was the whole facility. No complaints so no ★s off! :) The underdog sports pub, try it out!

What a zoo! Was visiting the area for business and decided to go somewhere to watch the NFL. Went to this place on a Sunday evening and it was wall-to-wall people with TVs everywhere and each TV had a designated game playing so the hostess would know where to sit you. Unfortunately, it was so packed we ended up sitting on chairs without really having a table so we used a couple empty barstools to place our drinks and food. I would try it again but next time would go earlier so I could get a "real" seat. The beer was ice cold, the server very friendly, the food was at least average, and the atmosphere was loud.

Worst service Ive ever had at a restaurant! Our server was rude and standoffish from the second she came to our table and that was the best experience we had. She never checked how we were doing and when she finally came over to grab our empty glass, never returned with our next beer. The food was amazing and came out remarkably quickly (brought by the kitchen staff), the selection of sports was fantastic (including the Edmonton Eskimos vs. BC Lions game which was cool), but the service will definitely cause me to look elsewhere for my dining experience.

Service was ok I guess. Food came fast. Good atmosphere. The three stars are mostly because of the terrible NY Strip steak I had. I guess thats what I get for ordering a steak at a "pub". It was dry, tasteless, chewy and full of tendons and grizzle...waste of money. I would of told the waitress when she asked how everything was but she never did ask so never mind. I was a turn and burn for her I guess. Im sure they have other stuff thats good, but it is a pub dont expect anything better than that. My bad. Recap: DONT GET THE STEAK

Nothing really stands out to me about this place. Not that Ive had a bad experience here or anything, but its just your typical run of the mill sports pub. Its nice that it feels way less commercialized than the Buffalo Wild wings down the street, but I just wish it had some distinguishing factor to keep me coming. Food is fine, prices seem standard, and they have a decent amount of tvs going. I will say that the service is consistently better than the local bdubs by a long shot. 3.75 stars

This place looked good until I walked in with my family. No one greeted us at the door, so we seated ourselves. Sat for about 5 minutes even though we noticed the next family right behind us was seated imeadiately and served. We continued to seat the for 10 minutes without anyone even saying hello until we left. Even as we got up and left two waiters looked at us and did NOT say a word to us. I would not recommend anyone going to this place unless you look good enough to be noticed.

We came here for a school trip to DC. The staff was friendly, professional & the bathrooms clean. the food was what youd expect - my only suggestion would have been to make sure theres something green on a plate as the entire spread was yellow. Mac n cheese, chicken fingers, fries. I know that the school made selections for buffet - but throwing in a salad would have made all the difference. If youre considering this place for a large group of kids - Id recommend.

Its a spread out, run down sports bar in the heart of Crystal City. That said, they are always packed. Despite its mix of corporate execs and lackies alike, this two floor homage to the wild world of sports is one of the least chain-like restaurants in the area. The menu provides a standard bar fare with similar prices although two menu items stick-out, their cheese burgers and their unbelievable honey BBQ wings. I think Im going to go get some right now!
