Have eaten food from Crisp and Juicy a couple of times. Never blew me away, but the smell is so good. Went today for lunch and ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and with dressing on side which the person taking orders said back to me and acknowledged on the side. Got the salad and found they had put the dressing on so went back inside and said I had wanted it on the side. The person taking orders came outside to the table, opened up the container with the salad and said, it is on it, see the dressing on it. I said I had ordered on the side and she rudely said, you still want it without the dressing already on it? I said yes, she took the plastic container of salad and threw it "with emphasis" in the trash can by the curb and stormed back inside. This on the heels of a spanish speaking friend telling me he would never go there again because of the way they talk to the employees which I wouldnt know because I dont speak Spanish. He said they talked to them like they were dogs. Hmmm.

The chicken is as good as advertised...so is the hot sauce. However, whoever was working the register last Sunday night should be fired...she charged $1900 to my card instead of $19. The manager came out and gave me a receipt for a refund, but here I am a few days later...the $1900 dollar charge went through and I am waiting on the refund a day or two before I call my bank and Crisp and Juicy. That is a lot of money and I need it...not sure Crisp or the woman behind the counter understands how serious working a register can be....please let that $1900 find its way back to my account this week...I got bills over here!

Honestly, its just ok. Nothing fantastic, Id prefer going to other Peruvian places. Their customer service is definitely lacking and the food doesnt get served piping hot. By the time I drive home (about 7 min), the bag is cold, and the food soggy. If I want food reasonably quick (still have to wait around for 15 min), then Ill head there, but I have had better. Dont get the fries - theyre gross, soggy, and get caught in your throat. The sauces are ok - not too spicy though which is disappointing. I wish they had better options for the family style, i.e. without the fries, coleslaw, and salad.

This place is amazing. Best chicken I have ever had, long live the spicy sauce. I have be coming here for 20 years and it has never failed me. To the people who wrote the bad reviews of this place, u dont know flavor. If something isnt cooked how you used to eat growing up, go back to your mom n ask her to make it. This is a dive spot thats been around a while, customer service is always great n friendly. To know how hard the people work there to keep providing great food day in and day out n see it bashed by entitled d-bags is so upsetting.

I ordered a Latino chicken breast sandwich and got a pretty bad stomach ache afterwards. The woman who made the sandwich smothered it in sauce. Gross. There was so much sauce on the sandwich it pooled up on the wrapping paper and made the bread super soggy. I think they should call it the Latino Sauce Sandwich. I am glad I didnt order a 1/4 or 1/2 chicken because the guy on the grill was heating up the chicken in the MICROWAVE! I will never eat here again.. I will be at Pollo Rico

I really love their fried yuca and chicken sandwich with their spicy sauce. BUT their customer service is really bad. One time I ordered a chicken quarter that still had blood, I went back to tell them and they said thats how it suppose to be. So they gave me another one but same thing. I lost my appetite seeing how undercooked the chicken was. Not only that but many times they mess up your order if you call on the phone. Even if you call to pick up they sometimes make you wait.

I got the Gruyere sandwich, the sandwich was pretty average. The Gruyere was not Swiss quality, in my opinion, but was a nice addition to the sandwich. I ordered the fried plantains as a side. Being part cuban, these plantains were not prepared to the way I am used to. There was not much flavor in the plantains, I was very disappointed. There is seating for customers only. Staff was alright, fast and efficient.

I have yet to try Crisp and Juicy but I did call them to ask them a few simple questions. The person that answered the line repeatedly hung up on me. Then when I called back she said they were closed but they were open for another 2 hours she just didnt want to assist me. So because of the treatment I was given via telephone I will never try this place.

Not sure what people are taking about. Chicken was neither crisp nor juicy, just salty. I ordered a half chicken and received an overcooked, dried-out white quarter and an undercooked and mushy dark quarter. Plantains are just as much of a let down as they were greasy and undercooked. Next time Im just going to make a trip to Pollo Rico.

The staff at Crisp and Juicy is great - especially Candy and the guy at the Rotisserie. They always remember us, our usual order, and our love of the "spicy sauce." Order a half chicken and a large yucca with hot sauce and youll be in heaven with a dinner for two.

Great chicken. Well priced. Quick, feel good, take home family dinner. Get the yellow garlic sauce. It is beyond amazing. Dont get the yellow rice. Fries are soggy. Chaotic ordering process, only a 5-6 indoor seats.

The BEST chicken ever. And the sauces? Dont get me started! Delicious! The yucca is well cooked, the rice and beans are perfectly seasoned and the chicken is OUTstanding. Did I mention the chicken? Its amazing.

Chicken is soggy. Nothing crisp about it. Stop it with the cumin!! Pollo a la brasa is not supposed to be seasoned with cumin. This place would go bankrupt anywhere in Peru.

Food undercooked for 3rd time out of the past 4 times. First time I got the family platter and had to fire up my own oven at home for 25 min to finish cooking the chicken.

Best pollo a la brasa around. Crappy service. But, what can you expect? Its basically a counter with roast chickens behind it. Awesome for take out at a great price.

The chicken is very good here and sides are good enough. Definitely worth a visit. Not much seating.
