WINGZONE DOESN’T MAKE IT RIGHT WHEN IT’S WRONG! A week ago I placed a very large order for boneless wings for a holiday party. I was very pleasantly surprised because they not only arrived early, but were hot and delicious. The order was accurate and I was ready to post a 5 star review on this site. They truly exceeded expectations during a very busy time for them I am sure. HOWEVER… I just placed an order that took well over an hour to arrive because the driver apparently took a wrong turn and he spent 30 minutes driving the totally wrong direction before he finally found his way. I live 2.2 miles from the store and it is an easy 5 min or less drive via the highway, one exit on and right back off. Of course the food arrived cold. I immediately wrote on the receipt (and told the driver) to have the owner call me. After waiting a while I contact Eat24 where I placed the order and they called the store. I asked for but did not receive a $5 discount. In addition, they forgot one item in the order (I paid for a “basket” which should have included fries but they were missing). To ad insult to injury, the owner would not even refund the difference! Lucky for me because I ordered from Eat24 and not the cheapskate owner directly, they were able to reverse the delivery charge and the tip (but could not otherwise discount the order without permission of WingZone). To Eat24: I recommend you drop WingZone until they act responsibly when they mess up. To the corp office of WingZone: Perhaps your Alexandria VA unit needs some “Undercover Boss” action to see why their service is so inconsistent. To the owner of the Alexandria location: Be accountable! When you mess up a very small discount and apology goes a long way to prevent reviews like this. To future customers: Be aware that you have a 50/50 chance of getting an outstanding experience but if they mess up don’t expect them to “make it right” by you.

When I arrived and ordered wings (the sauces are pretty good) and shrimp, I thought it was going to be a 10-20 min stop to get food. When I ordered there were no other customers there. A good amount of customers came in and ordered about 10-15 minutes after me. Each different customer that ordered long after I arrived got their order before me. After waiting about 30 mins they figure out that they gave my order to someone else who already left. So I waited another 15-20 mins and recieved my food. The food wasnt even all there, ended up not packing a third of my order. At this point I just wanted to leave. Dude at the counter was nice but the other people who worked there didnt seem very pleasant. I have hardly written any reviews especially negative ones and only do so if I was very dissatisfied beyond belief. I will never be coming back to this establishment. Food is overpriced too.

FAIL - This was my go-to place for wing delivery, but tonight, we are through. I placed an order at 1620, knowing that it was the Super Bowl and expecting that the food would take longer. It never arrived. I had placed it through GrubHub, who was great in helping me, but Wing Zone told them first that it was delayed (this was at 1820) and that it would be there in 20 minutes. At 1955, after another call, Wing Zone claimed that it never got my order, so GrubHub cancelled it and refunded my money. It will be a long time before I order from Wing Zone again. Im guessing my order wasnt big enough to matter.

The owner was extremely rude and ignorant in my experience yesterday. Two gentlemen were in the middle of a business transaction for sneakers which really isnt appropriate for a restaurant. However, as a paying customer to have someone screaming and yelling at them in the middle of my dinner was highly unprofessional. The food and the people at the register were really good. But even after asking the owner to relax in front of my child as he ate his food, he began to yell at me for intervening.

Delivery man is extremely rude. After i tipped him, now i will say the tip wasnt very large, but i still managed to tip him. After i closed the day, i heard him saying curse words because of the amount i gave. Its not the first time he damanded tips. Rude service which is why we werent tipping high in the first place. Not gonna be ordering from here anymore.

Important to note that they DO deliver the Shirlington area! These are some of the best wings Ive had in the Arlington/Alexandria area. The wings are saucy, which I love - its hard to find saucy wings around here! They are meaty too and breaded just right. We ordered online and the process was really easy and they delivered fast - like 30 mins!

Took over an hour to deliver soggy, cold and overpriced wings (they charge almost a dollar per wing). The wings were stone cold, with all the sauce in the bottom of the container and leaking into the bag. Save your time and money and go anywhere else. Costco pre-made wings are better than this.

We ordered like 20 wings and a bunch of sides and ranch. It took like an hour, but thats what the website said anyway. Wings were still hot, lots of sauce, and big wings! Ranch packs are big too. Delivery dude was nice. No complaints. Just wish it could be quicker.

Always great wings. The last set were not fully covered in sauced, but it likely saved my life...Mango Fire...They got a little testy when I walked over to pick up my wings with husky in tow, but I have nowhere else to put the dog once there...

My boyfriend and I eat here 2 or 3 times a month! The wings are large, crispy, and plenty of sauce. They are the cheapest wings in Alexandria and I worth way more! Their seasoned fries are also a favorite of ours!
