My wife and I have been staying in Rockville for several days, trying out the various restaurants. Weve never been to a Wing Stop before but love wings so we stopped by. The main impression Im left with is wonder at how a place as bad as this can remain open. After waiting 15-20 minutes for our wings (whaa?) we started to chow down. My boneless wings were ok, nothing great, but Im not too picky and they werent bad. My wife had a funny look when she ate her regular wings and said something tasted funny. She is pickier than I am so I took a bite thinking she might be exaggerating. Sure enough the regular wings tasted (and smelled like).....dog. Im sure it wasnt actual dog or anything, but the only thing I could think of to describe the taste was like a dogs breath. It was pretty nasty. As Im writing this Im hoping my wife wont get food poisoning from some kind of bad chicken. I brought the regular wings to the front and asked if they would switch them out for boneless, which they said they would. After another 15 minutes with no wings I just asked if they would make them to go and Id put them in the fridge to eat later. Evidently they forgot about the re-order and I heard the employee being told that he has to put in a new order, which he eventually did. ANOTHER 15 minutes and I have some fresh boneless wings which my wife will not eat because she is too disturbed from the first dog-batch. We went next door to Panera to get her some soup to eat. On top of that, I was not the only customer with issues. Every time I went to the counter, either the first time or the subsequent times to complain, there was at least one other person (different each time) with some sort of issue and something that was messed up or forgotten. I really dont know how a place like this manages to stay in business, but I can assure you they will get no more of mine in the future.

One might think that a place that serves essentially nothing but wings would get the wings right. That would be incorrect, and in fact not even close. I have had my share of wings, and the wings here were possibly the worst I have ever eaten. The wings were extremely small. Those that were breaded were over-breaded and not crisp. They claimed they were made to order, but it sure tasted nothing like that. The sauces were bland, uninteresting, and in some cases terrible. (Unless you are a masochist, please dont get the garlic Parmesan.) In addition to the food being an absolute abomination, the service is pretty sub-par. While we were there we witnessed people waiting at the counter while all employees were in the back. We were the only people eating in the restaurant (probably because it was so awful), so you cant blame capacity issues. Additionally, the condiments and stuff like napkins and lids were poorly placed. The only napkins in the restaurant are a spool of brown prison-like paper towels right by the cash register where you have to tear off your desired portion and take it back to your table. And if you happen to go here, see if you can find the trash can. Ten bucks says you cant. Ill give you a clue -- its behind the counter. I guess this is somewhat appropriate as all of the food never should cross the counter -- it should just be thrown straight into the trash. Other than that it wasnt bad.

My first ever 1 star review. Picked up carryout wings, container was not sealed at all. It was open in the bag. Walking 5 ft to my car sauce went everywhere and made holes in the bag. Unfortunately I had already put the bag in my car and the sauce stained my seat. Showed manager that container was wide open from pickup. He laughed and said I did it myself, that I carried it wrong, it was my fault. Basically called me stupid. When I explained again that the container was not sealed properly and the tabs were open from pickup he continued having a dismissive, giggling, sarcastic attitude with me. I kept my cool and said that his customer service was poor and I was unsure how he believes this is a good way to handle a customer. He asked what I want him to do about it. I asked what he thinks he should do for a paying customer in this situation and he just stared at me blankly. I just demanded a refund and returned the food. Still have stains on my car seat. Have been unable to get it out. Probably hundreds of dollars in damage. Wont order here again. The lady I ordered with over the phone was very nice. Not sure how she is working under him and not the other way around. The managers attitude was exceptionally poor like something out of a comedy skit. I am surprised that Wingstop has someone so unprofessional representing their brand.

Let me preface this by saying that they are usually great here however today I had a terrible experience. During a quick lunch break I ran over here to grab some wings. I asked how long it would take and was told 10 min. 29 min later I finally got my wings and rushed back to work hoping I wouldnt be late. When I finally sat down to eat I discovered that they shorted me 2 wings and completely forgot my 2 dipping sauces. Not to be picky but I cant eat wings without the dipping sauce. Again they are usually great but dont go here when your pressed for time and check your order before leaving the store!

These guys make decent wings and some nice fries. One feature I really like is that their super spicy hot wings (i.e. the Atomic Wings) are genuinely very very hot. I like fare my pretty spicy, and I hate it when I ask for the spiciest option and only get something tepid. This doesnt happen at Wing Stop! Order the Atomic Wings and even the craziest fire eaters should be satisfied. The only issue Ive had with this place is that they can often be really slow. When you call in orders to pickup they always tell you it will take seven minutes to prepare your food. Usually takes more like 15 to 20.

I love the wings here, and me and my friends usually come here once a week or every other week. The manager keeps everything place, and even on crowded visits we have never had to wait longer than 10-15 minutes. The prices are a tiny bit high, though, at almost a dollar per boneless wing, and their normal wings are a bit smaller than average. The larger meals are of better value for larger groups, which includes fries and extra celery, etc. With a variety of flavors to choose from, and their delicious fries, it is definetely worth a visit.

Two of the last three times I have ordered, my order was not correct. Ordered Family deal of wings and paired over $50. They stapled the bag so my daughter did not look inside when she picked it up. Two orders of fries were omitted from the order. When I called to get a refund I was told the person who could do that would call me the next day. Left my name and number and never got a call back. Will never order from here again.
