Ok first of all do not believe what these people are saying on this website because its all lie. Their service is poor,The manager does not know how to talk to the customer, I place my order on the phone first of all the lady who took my order took ten minutes too take my order,After 45 i call them and ask if the food is on the way,they said the driver should be there in 5 minutes. Someone call me after 10 minutes someone call me up and said we cannot bring the food to your house because its far its 6 miles away instead of 5 because they only deliver in 5 miles. I ask the lady why they did not mention that when I order? she said Oh we cannot deliver you the food thats it and we are really busy right now bye?? I was really upset I have some guest over who are waiting for the food. I call them back and ask to talk to the manager and she said i am the manager And we cannot deliver the food thats it. she didnt even let me talk or said sorry we wasted your time or anything. Are you serious??? does these people have any courtesy to say sorry or anything?????? Will never tell any one to put their money with such a people.

This place has a nasty and horrifying customer service. The owner has a bad temper and cant speak good English. Very important when talking to the public and keeping customers coming back. BAD ENGERY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. SOUTH KINGS HWY HAVE A CHINESE RESTAURANT AND JUST AS GOOD AND CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE SAYING. THIS PLACE HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMERS SERVICE. MAYBE THIS IS WHY THE NAME CHANGED TO THE NEW...CHINA TASTE. ALSO I REPORTED THEM TO BBB FOR THERE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE (NOT AN ACCREDIDATED BUSINESS) AND THE WAY MIKE HANDLED THE SITUATION. NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN. JUST THREW AWAY A CUSTOMER FOR OVER 10 YEARS! WORD OF MOUTH GOES A LONG WAY IN THE COMMUNITY. S/N: My mom was in town and like the chicken mumbo sauce. I took her there yesterday and made a comment that every child in there had a cell phone. Well I told her today, I have another place to go to for now..after the way I was treated today. We got chicken mumbo sauce on south kings hwy and she loved it. Plus they have more stars then this place!

When I got to the door to pay the delivery person, he held the screen door open wide, despite the fact that it was clear I had dogs inside. I asked him to close the screen door and he would not. As my dog slipped past him, I asked him to grab my dog. He did not. Then I said, "you just let my dog out of the house!" and he grabbed his money, got in his car and nearly hit my dog while driving off. When I called the restaurant to complain, the manager told me, unapologetically, to call the police. I will never order from this restaurant again. I have never had a delivery person stand in my doorway with the screen door open, watch me struggle as I try to grab a dog on the way out and then leave my house in the manner he did. And for the manager to just brush it off...incredible!

Ive ordered from multiple Chinese restaurants since I moved to Alexandria and never found one I could call a favorite until tonight. This was my first time ordering but honestly I dont know why it took me so long. The food is amazing! Lots of veggie options if you dont eat meat including curried potato which is delish and a lot of options for meat lovers too. Also, they have kimchi! :) The food arrived quickly and was really hot and they give you large portion sizes at good prices. I placed the order over the phone but I saw on their site that there appears to be an option to order online! I am going to try that next time. Would definitely recommend.

I moved here from NY, so I was spoiled with really good Chinese. Ive had a few bad experiences with local places in Old Town so I decided to give them a shot. WOW!! The food is delicious and piping hot when it arrived. Delivery man was courteous and I didnt have any issues ordering on the phone at all. Prices are great, General Tsos was spicy as it should be. Thank you New China Taste, your my new favorite Chinese delivery!

Moved here from Florida recently and have been looking for a good place for takeout. Having found other great restaurants around the area we gave this place a try. This is a great spot for takeout. The fried rice was better than decent. Very tasty and very fast service. Everything we ordered was great and would totally order it all over again. I am looking forward to checking out the rest of the menu.

They deliver quick , just because I livenewr by . but the customer service is horrible , I do not do not recommend it at all ! And plus the food isnt great . Im never ordering from this place , ever again ! Dont waste your money on rudeness and nasty food !! The guy was complaining and saying I didnt give him enough tip ? Like are you kidding me !?

Tried several Chinese places in the past and was never really satisfied. NCT is not only quick, the food is pretty good. Usually get the chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken and have not been disappointed. Quick note- I usually order to pick up and the food is usually ready within 10 minutes. Have not tried the delivery service.

Dont go there to eat - its strictly takeout and delivery, but for that its the best around. Favorites of ours include the dumplings, numerous noodle dishes, General Tsos chicken and fried rice. Weve tried just about everything on the menu though and it always arrives piping hot, never too greasy and always delicious.

I was hungry for Chinese. So, a coworker and I decided to give it a try. We ordered delivery, and it came earlier than expected. Ordered the combination fried rice and lo mein. Both were good. For the price and quality of service, you cant beat it. Will def. order again.

I moved to Alexandria recently from NY and was very scared to try out any new Chinese place. The place is clean, the food is fresh and the store people speaks good English. Anything you like from a usual Chinese menu, you can go ahead and order it here, shouldnt regret!

I was surprised at the detail given to the fried rice, as if it were a signature entree, unlike most Chinese restaurants. And the food per dollar ratio is excellent. Taste was good all around except the egg drop soup, which was too salty for my tastes.

My order was very simple and the messed it up. They did not deliver what I asked for. Then when I called back they were rude and disrespectful. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to ANY ONE. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE! ! NEVER AGAIN!

Definitely one of the better Chinese take-out/delivery joints... was nervous picking a new place in an area Im not familiar with but I was impressed (and Im picky!) Definitely recommend trying it! Steamed dumplings in particular :)

Great food and Nice hard working people. The owner Mike is a gentleman and very respectful and hard working. This place is very clean and People who make the food are happy and that shows up in food. Highly recommended.:)
