I love these bagels they are delicious. Then why the low rating you ask. Well they are very unsanitary when it comes to handling your bagel. The same person that takes the money cuts your bagel with NO gloves. And per health department and coming from the restaurant business that should not be happening. Either wear gloves or over one person handle the money and the other the food. Thats the reason I have it a 2 star, and stopped going here even if its closer then the East main st one.

Love these bagels. For those that describes the staff in less than glowing terms or the ambiance as less than ideal, no, this is not a place for hipsters. They put their effort into their food, not the flooring. As for the staff, I used maam and sir and they were very friendly. These bagels were great for our road trip.

This food is mediocre at best. The service isnt great. Those who live in Connecticut and have never tried NY style bagels tend to think this place is great. Its Average to a New Yorker whos had real bagels. The workers up front taking your orders need to work on their social skills.

What can I say this place is the best bagel joint in the country I would eat this stuff everyday if I could or lived there I would move down the street to this specific location just to be near this place the owner is great and genuine should be a chain. Because of the greatness

The bagels here are delicious. The staff is old fashion but friendly. .....If you want a NY bagel then go to NY and get it.... But if you want an amazing local bagel, Amis is great!
