Not the cleanest of establishments. The owner was rude and grossly underdressed for an obese person, it didnt help my digestion of the the rather meagre portions. What food we had was at best ordinary. However the bread roll was excellent and the desserts looked scrumptious but my constitution and lack of incentive to part with more cash for the rotund persons pocket made me just happy to leave. Our server was excellent, a cut above this establishment and thus wasted. She was very pleasant but was not allowed by the bullish owner to chat with us, she attain this by silently shepherding our server away and with disapproving stares from her cashpoint. A very strange attitude to adopt if your business relies upon customers returning for a meal in comfortable surroundings. Needless to say will shall not be returning and like another customer observed there is a McDonalds near by, that is clean and lean.

I used to love this place. It is on our way to visit two of our kids. Today I had a Monte Cristo. I dont think the french toast was cooked thoroughly and got sick after eating half the sandwich. (I dont eat the rest.) When I said something, the waiter said I should have told him earlier. I tried to get his attention, but he ignored me. He came to the table when I was in the rest room being sick. My husband said something to the hostsess when he paid, she said, "the meat was cooked." No one apologized. Nor did they take it off our bill. We wont go back again.

This place is just awful. Worst diner Ive ever been to. The service is okay, and the food isnt that bad. A little over-priced. Although, going across the street to McDonalds would be a better choice. The owner of this establishment treats his employees terribly. How can you expect good food/service when the employees are unhappy? Hes verbally abusive, and withholds pay. Completely unprofessional. I wouldnt give them my business, and I certainly wouldnt recommend my family/friends to give them their business either. I wouldnt recommend this place to my dog.

Food was good, but the hostess needs to go!! She had such a bad attitude yelling from across the dinning room for us to follow her then the picking up plates and throwing them into a dish tub. Also they need to get rid of the mouse trap in the back of the parking lot... If I saw this before I walked in I would have gotten right back into the car to leave. We stopped because we were traveling from Canada to Connecticut. Ill never stop there again.... but the food was good. They just need to clean it up and get some new help!

If you are not a regular customer you do not get good service! I sat there for almost an hour waiting for my breakfast and the lady next to me had hers in 10 minutes! I got attitude from the waitress when I asked about this. Oh and when the check came she tree it on top of my pancakes! The food was not that good either but expensive!

Best thing at this place is the homemade bread. Wait staff are nasty, rude and lazy. Brought the kids for breakfast and once done eating it took 20 minutes to get the check and the horrible waitress who was hanging off the edge of the counter most of the time we were there couldnt be bothered with her tables. Would not recommend.

For 32 dollars my daughter got one pancake and an orange juice. I got an omelet with wiggly bacon in it. My boyfriend got an omelet with raw vegetables and wiggly bacon. The server never checked on us once, but did make sure to leave the bill less than 2 minutes after she dropped of our food. I wont return.

Had lunch there on 6/10/17 had there special haddock and scallops, Mine was fried, worst meal I had every had anywhere, fish and fries tasted dry and old, also edges of fish were so hard, couldnt eat it. Also service was slow and not pleasing at all.

Ok at best. Cheap products at a high price. Over cooked eggs, burnt bacon, mashed potatoes from a bag, shoe maker cooks, the homemade bread is good. Unless you are a regular, expect poor service from cranky old women.
