For a decent meal where the owner and staff actually care about their customers, you cannot beat the Rutland Restaurant! The owner and his family have created a landmark for generations to come. If you want a place that is more substance than neon, this is the right place for you. The food is carefully prepared according to the owners propriety recipes and imparts the flavors and honesty of traditional, home-cooked cuisine - its my first stop whenever I visit Rutland.

My parents and I had wanted to try the Rutland Restaurant for over a year as we pass it often. We stopped in yesterday and were very impressed! Dont let its looks fool you, as the food and the service were fantastic. My mom got a chef salad with fresh greens, huge hunks of turkey, and lots of crisp veggies. Dad and I had breakfasts with great portion sizes cooked to order.

from 1 to 10 this place is a ._. ill say save your money and go some other place you pay for food and they dont give it you but hell they got you money so dont go to rutland restaurant........... so I give this place a number (2) the number 2 place

Had a great time in this vintage restaurant tonight! Solid menu, good value, great time chatting with the owner. Good homemade food at a classic family owned and operated restaurant. Well be back with friends.
