This is a great place for a burrito being the only local place to get one other than Taco Bell, but its by far the most expensive burrito Ive ever seen. I got the basic "Build Your Own" burrito and without any extras or special meat like steak and I was already over $10 and I hadnt even ordered a drink or chips. I wanted guac and a drink, but I couldnt see paying $15+ for a quick lunch. I paid $11 for a burrito smaller than Chiptoles. Last month a visit to Chipotle and I paid less than $10 for a larger burrito with guac and drink. Id eat here more often if it wasnt so pricey. Someone also told me in addition to the higher prices, they have also gone from your 10th burrito free to buy 12 and get one free (still nice to get a freebie once in a while). Roots Restaurant in Rutland will whip up a sandwich with local ingredients and fries and youll pay less than $11. Until prices come back down to reality, Roots will see more of my business.

Sub par at best. Very rude staff except for the cook, who was cool and heated up the tortillas for my tacos. The meats were very bland and and the food was extremely expensive. Would not come back to this place if it was free food. It shouldnt call itself a mexican restaurant or categorized itself as such.

I agree with Kyle that theres no better Mexican food in town. Thats because there is no other Mexican food. This is New England and most people here have no idea what real Mexican food is. Having said that this place this place is meh, especially compared to a chipotle.

This restaurant is currently the only place in Rutland to get Mexican food besides Taco Bell. It is under new management and I was impressed with the entire experience. The food was extremely fresh and the salsa was hot.
