My boyfriend and I stayed at castle hill and wanted to find a local restaurant for breakfast. It was a great spot! It was really welcoming and I have the chance to speak to the bakery owner! They open for more than 18 years and all the breads are homemade and ton of locals stop by for the delicious homemade breads! :) Highly recommended!

Great homemade food and baked goods. We were lucky to stumble upon this place whilst vacationing in VT. It was so good we went back three times in four days. The breakfast is all cooked to order, super fresh, and cheap. Lots of vegetarian options on the lunch menu too. The people running this place are also delightful and friendly.

Cozy environment/homely. I had French toast with home fries and it was perfect! My son had pancakes and said Vermont makes the best! Daughter had blueberries oatmeal she said it was great. 5 stars for food and environment, 4 stars because no freah oj or fresh fruit

This bakery had been around for more than a decade. My family has stopped here for bread, sandwiches and drinks for many years. The service is great, the decor is very Vermont, and it is the highlight of town, in this out-of-towners opinion.

If your travels ever bring you to Proctorsville this is a fantastic place to grab a little lunch and a hot drink. The bakery also has fantastic breads. This is definitely a small mom-pop place but thats why you come to Vermont right!
