Went this past Friday after checking out the Farmers Market. Food was good, but in some instances lacked spice, I guess we had to specify which scale we were on (Vermont spicy or Nepal spicy).. well know now when we return. This place is much better option than the Nepalese restaurants downtown Burlington in both food quality as well as price. Concerning service. First time entering it was a bit confusing, whether to stand by door, seat your self or walk to the register in back. Having a simple sign by the door as to what to do would be easy fix. Service was very nice and cordial, but a bit slow, during rush they really needed an extra wait staff to manage register and take out orders while someone else deals with tables. Overall it was a good experience and a very good addition to the Essex town center and well return. Minor adjustments on service and the rating would easily be 4 stars. They offer a lunch buffet offered on weekends which we will definitely try out in the future.

We loved the dinner. This restaurant is exceeding Indian restaurant among others within VT. I ve been to all of those, and this is giving that good feel. Good location and restaurant for Indian communities. Ask for more spice if you are expecting Indian spicy level. Match the perfection for other geners. Public parking only but at least no parking fee. Good starters, especially samosas. Non veg, you may have to try but dont expect spicy but u may ask for. Deserts are good too. No alcohol beverages. Must try one.

I went for lunch recently mid-week. Food was really good and our server was friendly. I had chai tea, vegetable momos, and butter chicken. Everything was yummy. My friend enjoyed her food, too. After we ate, the owner (I think it was the owner) checked with us to make sure everything was OK. Not many other patrons were there for lunch, which is too bad. Ill be back for dinner soon. Check this place out!

Great food for the price and excellent service. We had both Vegetable and Paneer Pakoras, Samosas, Lamb Vindaloo, Saag Paneer, and Lamb with Mushroom curry between the four of us, even my 3 year old loved it. Staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. Looks like they have a lunch buffet as well which I will definitely try in the near future. Excellent option for Essex

Pleasantly surprised. I went in not liking "American" Nepali food...came out a convert! Excellent noodle dish & curry dish for my colleague. Very large helpings and really had the taste of being in Nepal (Ive been there). Cant wait to return! Great prices also!

Delicious! Fun to try new foods. Its BYOB and the staff are genuinely excited to share their culture with you. Warning on spice, if your not into spicy then just double check its spice level when ordering. We havent found anything on the menus that we did love yet.

The food was really good. There is a good variety of chicken, lamb, and vegetarian fare. The sauces were also tasty, and complimented their meal well. Overall, the price was cheap and with BYOB possibilities, we will definitely be back.

Samosas were great. Overall, super happy with the food here. Definitely try the rice dishes and stay away from the things that look familiar, as theyre not very flavorful or satisfying.
