I dont know how they do what they do, but the sandwiches here are on a completely different level from the ones anywhere else in Vermont. Every single time I go here, it blows my mind how they manage to construct food in between two pieces of bread that has as much taste and such great combinations as they do. The last time I was there, I spent half of the time thinking about writing this review, because paying for it and telling them how good it was really doesnt do these sandwiches justice. Every time I leave, I want to walk out the door and yell up to the people sitting on the porch at Citizen Cider "HEY! YOURE AT THE WRONG RESTAURANT! GET DOWN HERE!"

I found this place right after moving to town (its right next to where I dropped the U-Haul) and have been visiting them 1-2 times a month since. It can take a while to be served (~10 minutes) and is a bit pricey with most sandwiches around $7, but the food is addictive and very diverse. Youll probably want to ask some questions about the different sandwiches before ordering the first time, some are fairly salty, some are spicy, and they can be surprising--but find one that doesnt scare you and youll be hooked. Just keep in mind that they dont take plastic, but the Greyhound station across the street has an ATM if you need.

Was in Vermont for a week from Michigan. Randomly walked past the place on the way to the chocolate factory. I loved the atmosphere of the small restaurant. There was art covering the walls, good music play list, and the owner engaged us in conversation as we waited. There was a great selection of sandwiches. He even had a non-meat list to choose from. I ordered the Chinese chicken sandwich and must say it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I would highly recommend trying this plce if you live in or ever visit Vermont.

I forgot my lunch and decided to go out for food. There arent really a lot of lunch places within walking distance from my office, but I saw Four Corners had plenty of positive reviews on Google so I decided to give them a try. I must say, the other reviewers were spot on. I got the Argentinian Beef sandwich and it is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in the state. The flavors compliment each other perfectly. I may just forget my lunch every day

When a place gets 4.9 stars its gotta be pretty good, this one will not disappoint. Ordered a "regular" Cuban- tasty. Owner is also sandwich "artist" and very friendly. The combination on the sandwich was perfect. Lots of flavor without feeling like he was stretching for something. All the locals who were there highly recommended coming back, though we will be gone too soon for that. Give them a try- good things await you.

Different and delicious! Met up with a friend for lunch here today - almost the definition of hidden gem, Im not sure I would have found it if I wasnt looking for it. Had the Hungarian Chuluba - spicy slaw, plenty of pork, delicious bread toasted to a lightly crispy texture. Yum yum yum! I was sad when it was gone. Definitely recommended!

I first ate at Four Corners of the Earth with a friend that recommneded the place, it left such a great impression on me (the sandwiches are truly tasty and worth every penny). When my colleagues asked where we should go for lunch that we have never been before, we went to Four Corners of the Earth and was not disappointed! A must try!

Such a great little hidden gem! We were originally headed toward Citizen Cider, but this places eclectic vibe caught our eye. So happy we changed our minds! The sandwiches are amazing, and the owner and staff there are so welcoming and knowledgeable. We went right back the next day. Will definitely be back next time were in Burlington.

A little hidden under Citizen Cider, this is a cool, half below ground sandwich bar with lots of spiced meat and fresh veggie options. Also serves some beer and wine. Options change often, call to see whats good today. Everything made fresh, and very popular, so expect your meal to be worth the short wait. Cash only, atm on site.

Best sandwich Ive had in Burlington. Hole in the wall, cash only. Worth every penny. The walls are lines with old action figures and kitschy cute decor. Definitely the citys best-kept secret; you rarely see tourists or uvm students there. Id highly recommend the Hawaiian ham or Mediterranean lamb.

The most amazing lunch spot ever. The hawaiian ham was on point. Not only was the sandwich perfectly delicious but the music and artwork made the enjoyable ambiance. There is also a doodle journal to draw in while you wait. The man behind sanchwich is a true artist so make sure you are not in a rush.

Excellent sandwiches, including a large selection of tasty vegetarian options. The staff are also really friendly and enthusiastic to engage in interesting conversation. Before you go, make sure you have cash because thats all they take!

I got the Argentinian Beef and my wife got the Russian salmon. Both were easily the best sandwiches weve ever had. The quality of the ingredients was fantastic, then the seasoning he adds is absurd. Dont come if youre in a hurry, though.

Sandwiches are simply delicious. Stellar flavor. A few good beers on tap at all times. Service is slow. Prices are high. But high quality makes it worthwhile. Cozy ambience with cute nooks and fun bar. Parking nearby is difficult.

Excellent hot sandwiches that are meticulously made to order. Very tasty fare is what I come to expect from here. Not the cheapest sandwiches in town but every one that I have tried is outstanding.

Wow. Funky place, almost hidden. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life (I had the Iraqi Turkey). Very European (not super fast), but worth the wait. Will definitely go back!

Little bit of a wait but very much well worth it, we got an Iraqi turkey, a Lebanese Lamb, and a Thai chicken. We split them between the three of us and they were all phenomenal.

Do not expect the fastest sandwich ever made. Appreciate the art and draw in the guest journal while you wait for one of Burlingtons best sandwiches. A must try for anyone.

I had the Lebanese lamb and it was quite possibly the best sandwich Ive ever had. The owner must know some kind of secret sandwich magic.

Amazing. Without a doubt the best sandwiches I have ever had. You will likely have to wait a long time but it is worth every second.
