Theres something about this place. Betos, Rancheritos, Albertos, Floribertos...whatever name they happen to go by, the way their logo is written out and all their menus are pretty much identical. This location just happens to be close to my office, so I came here this morning. These Mexican joints I feel like are a Salt Lake staple. You need to consume some sort of burrito, or rolled taco or carne asada fry plate at least once a month or they kick you out of the state. You simply need to ignore the trash in the drive through, and the menu and intercom set up that looks like it hasnt been wiped down since the first Bush was in office. Try not to imagine the last time the kitchen floor inside has been swept or mopped. Dont think about the fly grill that your meat is frying on and how many previous meats were fried up on that same grill without being wiped off, because its all irrelevant. It doesnt matter. You come here, and consume their delicious foods anyway. You eat the entire burrito even though you know any normal person really only needs to consume half of one. You feel like garbage and self loathe for 3 hours after eating here, yet feel oddly content and totally satisfied at the same time. Not every place needs to have 5 star service, or vegan/gluten free options. Sometimes we eat because we want a heavy, greasy, cheesy burrito that weighs 3 pounds, and has very little nutrition beyond protein and fat. Your body years for it...just allow it to have what it demands, and allow your mind to celebrate it. This is America, and its delicious...and kind of gross.

I will never ever, ever, EVER eat here again! My wife and I hardly eat out and when we do we are looking for a bargain. The food price was comparable to Taco Bell, and the portion size was good. Little did I know it came with a free helping of food poisoning. Approximately 8 hours after we both ate a burrito we became violently ill within 5 min of each other. I mean, Mother of Mercy put me out of my misery kind of sick. Were talking nausea, vomiting, and explosive diarrhea, like shoot ya to the moon sort of stuff. I work late and this is the only meal we have shared in the past 5 days. I think I can confidently say it was food poisoning from this place. I knew I should have reconsidered my decision to eat there when the guy who took my credit card was wearing gloves. I figured Id give him the benefit of the doubt and he would change them before preparing my meal, oh boy I was wrong. I had to postpone a work trip to Kanab because there was no way I could even sit in a car. Save yourself some truly horrific pain and DONT COME NEAR THIS PLACE. fyi, Im no lightweight when it comes to food. Ive lived in Micronesia for 2 years and have had my fair share of unique foods. Update: Both my wife and I were no longer violently ill just after 24 hours after getting sick. This was 100% food poisoning.

This location is by far the worst I have visited. Staff was unprofessional, didnt take our order for 5 min while we stood at counter patiently. After order, wanted sauces and veggies, sauce old and dried up and vegs super gross and soggy. After 15 min waiting for 2 burritos, we received our drinks which we asked for while we waited. The food was over cooked and dried out, and just overall gross. If you can, avoid this location, especially when your paying for fresh food and not receiving it. I work in Sandy, but will never go back to this location!! Stay away!!

Where to start... Me and my wife went through the drive thru at 8 in the morning. They were out of beans. A Mexi restaurant out of their staple ingredient? Ok. The lady working the drive thru ignored my wife and would only talk to me. I have no idea what that was about. My wife ordered the shredded beef torta sandwich. There was so little meat on the sandwich I actually took a picture of it to post with this review. The bread was mushed, the tomatoes were so old they looked like gummy worms. Im sorry, I always give the benefit of doubt but this was pathetic.

Best breakfast burrito. Hands down. The secret is their bacon. Pay for an extra egg and cheese. Their salsa is flavorful. The employees seem conscientious. The building is dated but clean. They do a robust drive thru business. Neighbors complain so they cant stay open 24/7. Thats too bad. I always go inside to order because Im a bit gluttonous when it comes to salsa. I like their Chile Verde and Adobada. Its been through three ownership changes since Ive been going there yet each time they reopen, the only thing different is their name.

This pace is average. The price a d quality of their burritos used to be unbeatable. A year ago, they were $3.99. But now they want to justify a $5.49 price tag. Sorry. But the quality of the dining experience just doesnt justify this price hike. The dining area is often dirty and your lucky to find a table thats been wiped clean. This place was once one of those hole in the walls. But people dont like expensive and dirty hole in the walls.

Used to love this place, it seems to have gone down hill. The last time I went in they messed up my order, but fixed it, to their credit. This time the fish in the fish taco I ordered was off, and it was a pathetic looking taco besides that. The chicken taco my girlfriend ordered tasted like cardboard. There also literally wasnt a clean table in the house, we had to wipe down one ourselves, and we were the only ones in the place.

Where to start. I went to go order 5 rolled tacos, thinking it would taste wonderful for my lunch! But as soon as I go to my office and started to have my lunch, 1. my rolled tacos were soggy, 2. they were cold (like if they were just laying there since the morning.) I threw away my lunch! I really dont recommend this place again! not to my co-workers nor friends. If you want good mexican food go to Rancheritos instead!

They have some of the BEST AUTHENTIC Mexican food around. If you have lived in or visited small towns in Mexico, you will love Floribertos. Their chocolate flan is to die for!! Maybe I have simple tastes...but this place suits my Mexican food cravings! I have never had a bad order here. Unlike the chain-store drive thrus....these people dont mess up my orders! Yay!

We ordered a breakfast burrito and the smothered chile verde burrito special and a side of chile verde. The breakfast burrito was decent but the chile verde was sort of a thin gruel with a few chunks of meat in it. It was more like a thin tomatillo salsa than chile verde, I have rarely been served such bad food. We wont be going back.

Worst experience ever, the most terrible customer service, the food was appalling and disgusting made sick for days. Please save yourself the pain and go to any other place but this one! I live in Sandy and I will never bring my money to this terrible excuse of an establishment again.
