So the atmosphere is nice, and this restaurant is much better than the previous one in this location. The building is large, has a lot of natural light, and everything looks modern inside. Further, the staff is friendly and asks about refills, etc. I ordered some sesame chicken off of the menu, which only has reference photos, and was also pleased by the speed of the chefs. The rice tasted about par for the course when compared to Chinese restaurants. The sauce with the chicken was almost a basic soy sauce mixed with parts of a teriyaki sauce. The sauce and chicken were burnt in most places. Proportionally, the meal was great and very cheap, but I was surprised by the taste. Overall the experience would have been a three or four star one, but Im questioning the cleanliness of this restaurant. A cockroach crawled along the wall and onto our table before our food came, and I had to kill it with my menu. Regrettably, I was left thinking about cleanliness and food safety for the rest of the meal. I dont think I can recommend this location as it might be a risk.

Tried it for the first time on a Saturday. There were a lot of Asian families there, which to me is a good sign of a place having authentic flavours. The service carts were consistent in coming around, the waiter was prompt in clearing our empties and filling our drinks. There was a good selection of dim sum including the favourites- steamed BBQ pork buns, shui mai, sticky rice in lotus leaves, (Lo mai Gai or zhongzi), Jian dui (sesame seed balls with sweet black bean paste), pork ribs with black beans, taro dumplings, chickens feet and more. Food was tasty and the jasmine tea - hot. The waiters can be hard to understand and I dont always know the names of the items, but pointing helps. Hard to know how much the dim sum dishes are, as the cards only indicate whether they are small, med or large dishes. Can be pricey if you order a lot, but overall, I found it quite good.

Ive been dying to try dim sum, and I was so excited to go. It was busy, but we were quickly greeted and sat. Our waitress immediately asked if we were ready to order, and being first timers we asked for a minute. She took our drink orders, returned and asked if we were ready again. We ordered an appetizer of egg rolls as we were still looking over the menus. She brought the egg rolls, which were burnt, and walked away without asking for our order again. After trying to catch someones attention for 15 minutes, we realized that we couldnt compete with the large party that they sat while we were waiting to order and we left. Only regret, not asking for our appetizer and drinks to be comped for the horrible quality and service!!

Our friends had Dim Sum House host part of their wedding reception. Compared to many of the Asian wedding receptions we have attended in the past, I would say this ranked right up with some of the better experiences. The staff was friendly/professional/attentive, which was great, the food was decent, and the setting was nice. The size of our party was probably the max this venue could hold and it was difficult to get around/between tables. Traditional, family style Asian dining is a hoot for those not familiar. And DSH did not disappoint with their plating. Id enjoy another reception there, for sure.

Went here since its one of the only place thats open till 11pm thats not fast food. The food is okay, typical Chinese food. The service is also okay. Not sure if its just because its late (10pm) that the server suggested that we already have a lot of orders so my brother in law hesitated to add the food he would like to eat. They served the food fast but youll feel that they want you to leave already. Even though we are not that satisfied to the service we still left the servers the 18% tip and even you dont understand their language, youll feel that they did like what we gave them.

Horrible food. I tried about 10 different types of dim sum, including the chicken feet. It was bland, lukewarm, and mustve been bad or something because I felt very sick afterwards and threw up a little bit. It feels like they went to the closest supermarket, bought the frozen pre-made packs of dim sum and then steamed it. Doesnt feel home made at all except for maybe the chicken feet. Also - - we ordered less than 20 dishes of dim sum but the total price was 54$. Completely not worth the price! At least the osmanthus jelly is decent, and the texture of the egg tarts are OK.

Great food, bad service. I was treated as if I was a inconvenience to the staff the whole time I was there. As good as the food was I can find this great food elsewhere! The decor, seating, tables and layout was nice. Japanese style. Wish service was better and I felt my money was being spent to an establishment that acted as if they wanted it! 3 stars... 1 for good food. 2 for great seating and decor. 3 for a clean restaurant. Minus 2 for bad service, I was missing part of my order and they charged me, and after asking for a water refills I got none!

A traditional Chinese food of Guangdong style. Food tastes good with reasonable price, suggest to visit.美国之行中吃到的最好的中餐,减一颗星是因为居然提供轮子的胡编乱造的宣传资料,影响食欲。食物真的很好吃!

Please stop serving shark fin soup! Your restaurant will be avoided until you do. Finning is inhumane, shark’s fins are cut off while they are alive and they are receptive to pain. Then their still-living bodies are thrown back into the sea. It is like cutting off someones arms and legs and leaving them to die. Sharks are important to the oceans, and therefore to the health of the planet and that includes humans. The harvesting of shark fins for soup is responsible for their disappearance.

Made a to go order, waited for 40 minutes for my order. Finally went to ask about it and it was sitting behind the counter for who knows how long. Another costumer who came in 30 minutes after me was out the door in 10 minutes. I asked how long my order had just been sitting there and they had no answer for me. Also, they have the most annoying bell that goes off anytime someone goes in or out of the door, so be prepared to go insane while waiting for 40 minutes for your to go order.

A COCKROACH IN OUR PORRIDGE While stirring a hot bowl of porridge, there was a dead cockroach laid on top of my spoon, it was as big as my thumb nail! The restaurant owner was going to bring us a new bowl of porridge, but we refused to dine there anymore. I asked the owner to keep the kitchen clean, but she told me the cockroach was unavoidable, which I believe her, because if there was one in my bowl, there must be a hundred out there crawling in the kitchen.

I could be a bit spoiled, but having just landed from Los Angeles, I came here for dim sum and did not have the best experience my first time. It is too greasy for my liking. I ordered hot water and it was served to me in those plastic Coca Cola cups. I found that odd. They do have exceptional soups however. The price is very decent, too. The staff is kind. I would likely go again, except ordering different items on the menu.
