Being from Jersey, where everyone and everythings Italian, I dont expect much in the way of authentic food in Mesa, Arizona. Thats ok and weve long ago accepted that, having relocated here four years ago. I do, however, expect edible pizza, even at those $5 places. My family ordered a cheese pizza. Simple. We received 4 slices that had cheese and 4 slices that had no or next to no cheese due to being overcooked and not properly rotated. So half a pizza of just burnt dough with streaks of equally burnt sauce. How the hell they wouldnt see this let alone serve that to a customer is beyond me. There was one other couple in there at 6:30 on a Saturday night so being rushed was not the excuse. When we brought it to the attention of the waitress, she explained that sometimes bubbles in the dough burst and it looks like that. Without going into depth, I replied that Ive eaten a pizza or two in my 39 years and whereas that certainly does happen, there is zero chance of a pizza looking like that (with literally half of its cheese missing) ever being served to a patron. She stuttered a little and eventually apologized AND THAT WAS IT. We saw a cook or owner or someone checking on the other partys satisfaction with their food when we first arrived. Where was this person just 20 minutes later? Aside from the waitress, we saw no one else. Although she was our sole point of contact and perhaps shouldve known not to argue with a customer, I still tipped her 20%, paid the bill and left. Never an offer to have someone speak with us or rectify the pizza situation. They got their money and theyll never see me again. Hope that 20 bucks was well worth it. And, by the way, the pizza was about the size and quality of a Genos. Guess the painting of the Statue of Liberty on their wall warranted charging three times more for it.

Normally I would give this place 5 stars, but today, they super disappointed me. I love their wings. They are the perfect combo of crunchy and juicy with lots of flavor, but the miscommunication between the front and the kitchen totally ruined the experience. I waited over a half an hour for a to go order, and at least 6x during my wait the head of the kitchen came out to speak with the hostess about delivery orders. Not once did he say my order was ready or ring the bell in the back to let her know order was up. So when I finally asked her to check, you could hear them arguing with each other in the back cuz the order was ready 20min ago. Uh,HELLO! If you cant work well together dont make your customers suffer! I hate giving bad reviews, I promote positivity cuz the restaurant industry sucks...but seriously this place is way better than that. Get it together people...please!!

Our new favorite spot to visit when in Mesa. A Family Fun experience with stellar modestly priced food and a New York attitude. We were greeted by Joyce (owners sister). She was a hoot. Great with menu knowledge and steered us in the right direction. Cant wait to see her and the fun personality again. We had the garlic twists......unreal good. If you are a garlic fan this is a must. Fresh hot bread twisted around itself and covered in a garlic clear sauce. For dinner my family had Linguini and clams (same clear garlic sauce on the twists), an antipasto salad (cold crisp salad with a delicious zingy housemade dressing) and spaghetti Marinara beauftiful deep red) with meatball (not sure how in the world a meatball that big can be that moist). For dessert we couldnt pass on the zeppoles. Crazy good. We will be back each and every time we visit Mesa!

Last weekend I drove 20 miles in the opposite direction, in the rain, with a couch strapped in the back cab of a pick up truck just to sink my teeth into Bellas garlic knots! These heavenly treats are unparalleled to any other type of garlic bread imaginable. The tantalizing sensation your taste buds will experience after that initial bite will forever haunt your memory. Do not be surprised if you wake up in the middle of the night with cravings so compelling that it causes you to break out in fever and cold sweats... Ok, just kidding about that last part! But you just might catch yourself dreaming about those succulent, scrumptious and delectable balls all day long! If I could marry garlic knots I would...

I get a take out menu on my door for Bellas Pizza. Ring them up for delivery. I didnt even bother as the staff on the phones was so offputing. After being greeted by sombody akin to a zombie he then proceeded to groan at me "NAME...", "PHONE...", "ADDRESS..." No noise in the background, and he sounds like I am bothering him with a order. As I told him I will call somewhere else and hangup. I hear "GOOD" To the owners of Bella dont even bother, put your flyers in the trash if you dont want business. Literaly throwing away a new customer, and the bella white sounded good too. I called around 7:50 on a weekday and would have gladly picked up if necessary before closing.

My family and I have eaten here for years and it’s absolutely delicious. We haven’t had everything on the menu, but the pizzas, pastas, sandwiches and salads have always been great. On the rare occasion that anything was wrong, they’ve always made it right and I highly recommend going here. Whether it’s take out or dining in, you’ll definitely have a “happy tummy” at the end of the meal. I’ve called ahead and asked if I could bring alcohol and they said no problem, just a FYI if that’s your bag. Best Italian food in the east valley.

Received a flyer on my door and decided to try a new place instead of Narrows. We ordered 40$ worth of food and after getting off the phone was told I had to be charged an extra 3$ for sauce and would have to be charged yet again for Ranch. Dont mind paying for the extra cost but to try and tell me you need to ring me up 3 extra times made me weary. Horrible customer service and to the owner of this restaurant. Not very business savvy to turn away a 40$ order for an extra 3 dollar charge.

Dont ever order a pizza from here...they complain about delivering pizza...i ordered a pizza for $14.99 and the guy wouldnt deliver it because it was less than $15...so i was forced to buy another item..it took them an hour and a half to deliver the pizza and I live 5 minutes away...then I open the box and some of the toppings that I was charged for werent there...oh, and I never received my free 2 liter...if it such an inconvenience, then why do you promote delivery service?

Our food was terrible, we arrived early to pick up our pizza and it was already cold and the cheese was hard. This pizza was re baked after sitting around and they sold it to us. The wings were either re cooked or over cooked because they were a nasty dark brown color and not fresh tasting. This is NOT NY pizza!! The best part of the meal was the incredibly small pieces of frozen cheese cake . I would not go back even to give it another try.
