I expect this place to shut down no more than 2 years from now: great quality, terrible hours, terrible sticker shock for certain items. Seems like theyre proud of their product, but they make it difficult to do business (seems always closed or sticker shock). The only redeeming quality is their coffee. The food quality is great but there are several items that are WAY OVERPRICED (just stick to the drinks). I gave up after getting ripped off on the carrot cake: Its $4 for a meager half an inch slice! Hugely misleading because you cant tell as a customer how large the slice is until they cut it. I was shocked and questioned the staff about the size of the slice for $4, but they indirectly let me know they recognized it was a ripoff and said, "store policy is 1 flower (the decorative flower icing)". Doesnt even make sense since the cheese cake for the same price is nearly 3 times the size. Then the giant cinnamon roll is $3, which is reasonable-- it seems their carrot cake is their "gotcha sucka!" item. My family used to frequent this place but we got tired of the random sticker shock for items you cant see the quantity size.

The coffee selection is excellent and priced competively with Starbucks. The food here while delicious is incredibly overpriced considering there is zero table service and you have to pick your food up yourself from the counter. The food products are locally sourced with the prices being passed directly to the customer which is appealing to a certain class of customer. The interior has a modest amount of table seating with a breakfast bar area available. The art and decorations add a certain appeal and the music being played is always at an appropriate volume. This establishment also has a drive thru for coffee which is convient for a morning coffee pick up before errands. I have been here several times now and the management needs to take a look at scheduling as there is always a huge line of people waiting in line to order during peak hours.

I have probably driven by this place 100 times and never been in. Decided to finally give it a try and stopped into this place around 3 pm. Did not know they closed at three. Was anxious to try some food but was sadly disappointed that the she told me the kitchen was closed. Now knowing and seeing the menu they are clearly more a breakfast/brunch place and would be more willing to come in earlier. But knowing that people are more likely to stay longer and spend more money if food is available i feel as though the kitchen should be open longer. Over all good atmosphere not as loud or crowded as like a starbucks.

As the great conqueror of lands Willy Shakespeare once said, "To be or not to be" this establishment will stay as a positive memory in my amygdala from now until I forget I came I saw I ate here. This hipsterian comida was not that bad. I had a kwossaunt with 2 pieces of bacon and eggs with cheese inside. The meal was good if you like something quick and dont want to go to IHOP because its too full. My esophagus felt content and I am satisfied with my brief cosmological existence at this establishment. TL:DR Food good. Go here if IHOP is full and you hate Starbucks.

LOVE Café Marrese!! I drive 20 miles almost weekly just to go to this fabulous café. The coffee is wonderful, the bistro food is quite delicious and the desserts - well, the carrot cake is best Ive ever had. If youre looking for an quiet place for dinner on a Friday or Saturday, dont hesitate to give Café Marrese a try. They food is all freshly made and worth every penny!! The staff are very hard working and want only to give you the best experience possible. Love to see their smiling faces when Im drive up there.

This is not only the best coffee north of Houston, but the owner and staff are some of the kindest souls I have ever met. The food and beverages are made from the highest quality ingedients. The cost is a touch above average, like a Starbucks, but worth every penny. The ambiance is usually quiet, and the background music is christian based. They also have great wine pairings, free WiFi and Perka rewards to earn free beverages!

My husband and I feel like this cafe is our second home! The owners and staff make us feel like family and we are truly filled with positive energy in a upbeat joyful environment! We used to live in the Galleria area and really miss all our in town coffee spots! Cafe Marese brings to Tomball the in town vibe but with way better service! I wake up every morning craving their delicious mouthwatering vanilla latte!

Extremely clean and warm comfortable environment. The morning smells blended very well. I just stopped in for a quick bite and found myself wanting to hang out for awhile. I have seen this place for quite a while and have been reluctant to stop in because of the "strip center" that it is in, I could kick myself in the butt for not stopping by sooner. I wish I could give this place 10 stars !!!

Best thing about this place is the quite room a nice room with a long table and multiple plugs along the wall. Coffees are quite good, but give the menu a skip, the dishes sound good but come out bland and uninspiring. The nice study/quite area is wasted as a wonderful public space by closing at 4:00 if they were open in the evenings I would be in far more than 1-2x monthly.

Just drove through this morning for the first time, and had the most amazing cup of coffee! I just havent stopped raving about it to anyone who will listen to me. Going back tomorrow to get a bigger cup of The Marrese! Prices are probably the same if not a bit more than Starbucks, but while I dont think Starbucks is worth it, this place definitely is.

The food is really really good! I ordered the Potato Leek Soup and 1/2 Caprese Sandwich, my fiance got a omelette but we both left still hungry. :( Our meal was 20 bucks for the two of us. The only thing I would recommend is throw on some potato hash or side of fruit so we can leave feeling full. The owner is very lovely, friendly man!

My husband is full blood Italian and makes espresso from a restaurant machine. In other words, I get the very best Cappuccinos ever made. I had one here yesterday while I was in Tomball visiting my Mother....I am going again this morning, and taking my sister. Milk was not burned and espresso was not bitter. Almost as good as my hubbys. ☕

Came here for the first time to get breakfast. Reviews said the food was good, but I was pleasantly surprised at just HOW good it was. The cafe itself is cute and modern but it has a cozy feel to it, and the vibe was very relaxing. The food itself was delicious, and the hot chocolate I had did not disappoint whatsoever. 100% recommend!

This place has great drinks! And their coffee prices are comparatively low. The inside is comfortable and larger than what it appears on the outside. We had steel cut oats, a parfait, and an omelette. All were great. The restrooms are noticibly clean and service is friendly. We had a great time here and will frequent this place often!
