Terrible. Brought my 2 sons here for breakfast and we each ordered breakfast combo platters, paid and then sat down. 2 customers behind us ordered their food and paid and sat down after us. About 20 minutes later, they served the other 2 customers first while we were still waiting for our food, which was not the problem. A minute later, the server that took our order walked out to our table and told us they only had one order of hash browns remaining, and if we wanted a substitute for the two remaining platters. I then politely pointed out that the two customers that ordered behind us had already received their food and both had hashbrowns on their plate. The server said she didnt know what happened, and again asked if I wanted a substitute. I then asked for a manager. After a few minutes of the manager huddling with the serving staff, the manager came to the table and asked if we wanted a substitute, to which I again asked why the two customers that ordered and paid after we did had hashbrowns and we didnt. The manager said he didnt know when they ordered and didnt know what happened. For information purposes, there were exactly 6 customers in the restaurant including my party, so it wasnt busy at all. I again politely asked him to explain how it happened, and he just asked if I wanted a substitute. I asked for a complete refund, to which he immediately obliged and we left. Its unfortunate because we used to enjoy this restaurant, however their customer service after this incident is unacceptable to me and well get never return.

*revised review* The owners of HCS did reach out to me after I contacted them, and they were very very apologetic and completely understood my frustration. They admit they cant change what happened, but they are going above and beyond to try and make things right. I really appreciate their willingness to help make the situation a little better. While they could have easily ignored my complaint as the event was over they proved that they care about their customers and are a class act. We used them for a wedding this past Friday and while I paid and booked for 170 people, we only had 145 guests and they still ran out of the entree! So yes a couple of tables of guests only got beans, potato salad and bread for their meal. So incredibly embarrassing as a host! When I asked the manager about the fact that we ran out of food he said that 165 guest came through the line ( Not even that many guests at the wedding, but even if that were true, I paid for 170 meals - still should have had plenty!) However, those that did get the entree said it was incredibly good. But still, having to send out apologies to wedding guests the next day for the lack of food was not what I planned on having to do.

Today brought my wife here for mothers day and had the worst experience ever!!!! The Hispanic guy that serves the meat, was so Rude. We love the food here, but honestly it will be our last time coming... this guy feels he is the big thing, That he totally ignored us as we were standing there waiting for him to decide to take our order. Then once he takes our order my wife and I had to repeat the order 3 times, and its not because he doesnt understand English but because he has this very stupid and stubborn attitude...and even after every time he would serve us what we didnt order. Unfortunately tjis JERK is this way all the time!!!! We love thefood here but his attitude is HORRIBLE AND RUDE! I asked for a manager, and the guy who came claiming he was a manager took our complaint, right after went over to talk to him(the meat server) he just laughed.... if you are reading this....just imagine how stupidly his attitude is i guess he forgets that because of people like us that go dine there is that HE HAS A JOB.... i hope an owner or a real manager read this and really do something about it....

The complainers must be the competition, I almost had to call the ambulance to get me out of here lol Ive been around and when you go to Texas you think about barbecue, well I think this place is very likely the best representation of what Texas BBQ should be like, kicked my arse! Theres more than just BBQ after you order at the cafeteria style food line theres a condiment section that has some of the tastiest sweet corn bread and butter rolls! The sides were OK but the meat more than made up for what the sides lacked. I went to school for cooking and my professional critique would be that the cook is an expert at Texas style barbecuing. Not sure about the boiled peanuts though lol the atmosphere is comfortable, music selection represents southern country old school style. Its not necessarily the quiet intimate dinner for two type setup but for bbq works just fine. After all it is Texas.

Decided to have breakfast here since our original destination was closed for the holiday. We have had breakfast here before and found it to be pretty good. After todays visit, we will not be returning. The tab for two exceeded $25 and most of the food was lukewarm or cold. There was absolutely no service beyond placing our order, had to get everything for ourselves. No employees came into the dining area except to bring the food. Toast that doesnt have enough warmth to even partially melt butter just isnt palatable. In prior visits, our opinion was that the menu was a bit pricey but the food and service made up for it. Not so anymore. Would have been a lot more satisfied with going to whataburger, would have spent less and food and service would have been superior to our experience today.

Twice I have been to this place. First time I just grabbed a burger for lunch. It was bland and tasteless, seemed like it was from a frozen patty. Second time I Figured I would give their bbq a shot since it looks like a really nice place and maybe the bbq was their main focus...Wrong! I got a 3 meat plate the chicken was bland the brisket was bland, the sausage was dry and bland...The mash potato salad was terrible. This is hands down the worst bbq joint in cypress. It looks like a fancy upscale place but the food is junk....

The food was sub par at best. I have tried it several times hoping that I would get better food or better service. Not once have I felt that it was worth the price you pay. You pay 6 bucks for a burger with no fries or drink. A po bo with beef and hard roll was 7. nothing on it but beef and roll. large unsweet tea 2.70.....just not worth it. Nice looking place but thats it. All customer service is terrible. There are better places in Tomball with better food and cheaper prices. BBQ included.

Very disappointing! Me and my husband went to the Tomball location on Sunday. The place was empty besides us and one other couple. After just 5 minutes into out meal the bus lady came over with her rolling cart and she proceeded to pace back and fourth never leaving a 3 foot radius. She was trying to hurry us out and it worked. We left leaving most of our meal on the table. Maybe thats why they were empty on a Sunday afternoon. Dont stalk your customers, its bad for business.
