Ate here for the very first time today. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful, but the buffet wasnt that great. Salad was good and fresh, no complaints. Dessert (cobbler) was good and hot. Chicken Fried Steak was not bad. Chicken and Dumplings were just okay. My complaint was the vegetables. Instant potatoes, instant gravy (brown), canned carrots, canned green beans, and I can only assume canned corn. The broccoli was the only thing that was fresh (or frozen) and tasted good. I have no desire to return.

This was my first time there, but it wont be my last! I was overwhelmed with the selection on the buffet! The fish and shrimp and roast were fantastic! Vegetables were great! Down home cooking, and although they have a menu you can order from, I couldnt pass up the buffet. Friends took me because I hadnt been, and they love it! Now I know why! The buffet had everything from soup, salad, main dishes, breads, and dessert! Bringing my family next!

Never again. The place looks like something out of a bad movie filmed in 1970 in deep Mexico. Not that there is anything wrong with that... but the place needs a good overhaul. I feel the breakfast buffet was 100% created in a microwave. I tried a bit of everything and it was bad. The coffee was bad. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak from the menu and needless to say we will not be back...even if it was free.

This is the first review I have written about any restaurant but I feel compelled to write one now. THE PATCH has just blowed me away with great lunch buffet and on top of that is the friendly staff! I eat out everyday in my travels and stumbling across this jewel of an establishment has won me over! Thanks Tony! You have now topped my choice of restaurants in the Tomball area!

The Patch is a great place to take the family...Something for everyone.My Favorites are the Chicken Fried Chix & The Ribeye. Great taste and generous portions. My wife likes the Grilled Chicken Breast. there is usually a buffet there as well that is usually pretty good. Nice, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere and reasonable prices. One of my favorite places in Tomball!

first time i ate at the one in athens tx was with group of friends four of us had chicken fried steak and all got real sick i think the meat was bad,but we gave the place another chance i never tried the chicken fried steak again but the hamburgers are awesome and the turkey club is good.the employes are very friendly

The service was okay, but the food was awful. The prices where high for the low quality of food. Everything seemed to be canned or frozen. The buffet was just $8.99 but was barely the quality of a cheap $5.99 buffet. Their sweet tea was good though. We will not be visiting this place again.

The lunch buffet with soup & salad bar + dessert is usually pretty good. Or try a hamburger (that are always cooked to order) and are quite tasty! Nice, friendly staff, & owner, comfortable atmosphere and reasonable prices. One of my regular lunch spots in Tomball.

Excellent waitstaff. They are very friendly and make you feel like family. I like the Tilapia--it has a brown (Im not sure what it is called) sauce on it that is really tasty. I like the lunch buffet. I go every Wednesday to get the lasagna!
