The wait was very long and not worth it. Went there for breakfast, coffee was so watered down. Took a long time for our waiter to come over but after that the service was great. My daughter had grilled cheese and it was burned and still served like that, someone had a huge burrito and heard that was actually good but all the add ons were barely there and extremely over priced. I had chilaquiles and they were so disgusting. The sauce was so rough, mine had 2 whole jalapeños in there and no salt on anything, no flavor. Added a very expensive egg to it and it was a tiny amount, rubbery and over cooked and wet for some reason. The beans tasted like they were put of the can and the torillas looked like they came out of a pack of Mission brand tortillas. Very dissapointing. When the place is packed and you wait over 30 minutes u imagine its going to be great but unfortunately we were wrong. I just had a bite, couldnt even try to eat that mess on my plate. I was generous with 2 stars because our waiter was so friendly.

Nightmare at the island!!!Ok deep breathe... ordered eggs Benedict for me, the eggs were hard like a rock.. The egg yolk didnt even make a move to run or even walk. I told the waitress my eggs were made bad. She said I can redo your order. You joking the first order took 25 mins... I have better things to do in my life My wife had the two eggs breakfast w/ sausage and hash browns. First the sausage had no taste and was very oily, a heart attack waiting to happen..the hashbrown was soggy, my hummer would have gotten stuck in it. My son ordered a bisket w/sausage. Same result no taste in either item. Bisket was homemade, but had a terrible after taste and hard. Bisket looks like something u would put in a rat trap. All the positive reviews are faux. I have to say that my review is irrevocable. Please stay away!!! Money down the drain. I rather eat a McDonalds bisket that has the same end result sucks!!! Oh wait the coffee was the only item has a one star.

Good food, though in the beginning, the host told us it was going to be an hour Wait. We decided to Wait and noticed she told others it was going to be a 15-25 min Wait, then she calls a party that got here AFTER us, so I asked her "when are we next because Im pretty sure those people came after us" and she said she called us, and we were sitting right in front of her the whole time, tentatively listening, but she was Insisting she called us. The only names that were called, minutes before us, was "jay" and "Silvia". Our waiter was polite and patient the only reason why we didnt give 5 stars is due to the service provided by the hostess. First impression is key in customer service, and determines the rest of your experience in the restaurant.

The food was ok. I think that the reviews here are a bit overrated. I had the huevos rancheros and the salsa was really good. For being a coffee joint every time I was served their house coffee it was like warm. Also had the eggs and they had tons of butter. Luckily our waitress Sonya was very friendly and exchanged the eggs for some with no butter. I also had the Belgian waffle and it was also decent. I was hoping for the fruit to be inside the waffle but they serve it on the side in a small cup. Overall I wasnt really impressed but Im willing to go back and try their lunch menu. Maybe Ill have better luck with that.

Service was a bit slow dont mind that they where very kind and friendly. Food was all very bland grits tasted like water had to get butter and salt to doctor them up dont know if your meant to do this yourself. I got the crab meat omelet most expensive omelet on the menu and did not live up to the price, once again very bland and watery. I think I just orders the wrong thing cause everyone else in my group praised their food. Im sure the classic waffle or pancake would be awesome though, and their cinnamon rolls look godly. I would definitely try this place out just dont get an omelet.

Worst place to eat on the island. Wife and I ordered omelets. Omelets are supposed to be fully cooked fluffy eggs, these were still runny and underdone. Wife ordered the veggie, the veggies werernt cooked well and were watery, so in combination with the runny eggs, the plate was a soppy mess. I ordered the crab meat and there was very little crab meat, tomatoes were watery. Hash browns were burnt. Service was ok but nothing was done about our complaints, nothing offered different. Awful experience

Second time ive eaten breakfast here. The service was slow which I understand happens sometimes in the restaurant business. Usually when you have 2 of the 4 plates sent back for being cold its wise for a manager to go speak to a table. The breakfast is typical of any ihop or dennys that you would visit. The decor of the place is very nice and relaxing compared to many places ive been to. Focus on retraining your staff and better customer service and this place could go along way.

I got takeout from Grapevine this morning and it was SOOOO GOOD! My wife had the eggs Benedict (eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise was excellent) and I had the oversized breakfast taco. Being from Brownsville, Im no stranger to breakfast tacos. Id put this one up against any tortilleria out there. The place was slammed (always a good sign) but I was immediately taken care of. Im just sad we didnt try this place earlier in the week. Well done, guys!

This is a great place to have breakfast. Amazing food, great coffee, and a very nice atmosphere. Although "beachy", Grapevine Cafe differentiates itself from other restaurants on the island by still maintaining a high, classy standard rather than being a stereotypical beach-dive restaurant. Ive been coming to the island for more than a decade and finally gave them a try. Im so glad I did. I think I found my new favorite breakfast place on the island!

Ive enjoyed food and americanos here a couple of times. The staff is friendly and fast. I particularly remember the eggs benedict was fantastic! Also of note, I lost my ID somewhere one morning that included a trip here. The owner and a couple of staff took the time to look everywhere in the seating area and even through the dumpster in case they had accidentally cleared it from the table and thrown it away. I will be back next time Im in the area!

My wife and I came for a weekend getaway and right from the start the staff was friendly and attentive. The food did take a little long to come out considering it was breakfast but it was worth the wait. The servings were huge and inexpensive. My wife didnt eat something on her plate and instead of just taking the plate away our server made sure it wasnt because it didnt taste well. I absolutely recommend giving it a try.
