I was looking forward to trying this local GP coffee shop due to its being a small business and so highly rated. However, walking in felt a bit like going to grandmas coffee shop. The walls seemed to be covered in curio cabinets full of knick knacks, with very dated farm-style tables and chairs and there was a mature fellow singing 60s folks songs at an almost unintelligible level. Additionally, I was at least 15 years younger than the average patron. No matter, this place was well reviewed, so I pressed on and ordered a cappuccino along with a breakfast burrito. The price was fair, but the fare was underwhelming. If youre in the mood for a quaint, antique-styled establishment, this would be the place. If instead, youre looking for something a bit more like a coffee house, this wont do.

It has a really awesome vibe. We are visiting from NM and saw this closeby another attraction in the area. What I really love are the great daily specials, and large variety of flavors to choose from. The prices are really reasonable, just under 5 bucks for their large drinks. Looks like lots of great, fresh pastries and pies... and all of the sandwiches and wraps smell great. We only stopped in for some dark Kenyan roast, and its great! The staff was super friendly and you can tell they really enjoy working here. I wish I lived here, I would totally make this my go-to spot in town. Highly recommend anyone stopping through gives this one a try for a quick bite to eat, or coffee on the go.

I really didnt appreciate the lady working the counter who kept insisting that coffee will help stave off Alzheimers. Seriously? She kept it up, even after I explained to her that my father was an Alzheimers victim, and that those studies are tenative at best. Her parting shot? "Drink more coffee then!" I told my wife about this (Shes the coffee drinker) and she refuses to set foot in this place. I was actually OK with taking her back if she wanted to go, but nope. Im actually a little glad, because I thought that was pretty inappropriate. As far as the coffee goes, its slightly better than Starbucks.

Fun, eclectic and trendy coffee shop to visit around Main St. Grand Prairie. Its right across the street from the farmers market, which makes it a great place to walk to and grab a bite after shopping. They have an amazing Chicken Salad. I would recommend anyone who goes there to try it. Its a great place to get together with friends. I bought 3 lbs of it for a bridal shower and it was a hit! They have tables and booths and is more group friendly than your local Starbucks. Plus, the owners are super nice and personable.

OK, so I havent been here in quite some time... I had only ever been here twice and never had a good experience. I live here in town, and I just preferred to go to Starbucks because it was closer and easier. Today I walked in and I actually felt like my business was appreciated! I got greeted, the Guy running the register was really polite and asked if I wanted my bread heated up and everything! I will not be going back to Starbucks to work... Ill be supporting a fellow local business, hands down!

Its a historic part of Grand Prairie, the perfect little coffee shop to sit and talk amongst friends. It boasts a great variety of coffee and its taste is splendid. The staff are nothing but friendly and so easy to talk to. The food and baked goods alone are reason enough to go. I would recommend this to anyone, especially if youre into a more trendy/home style type of coffee shop.

My girlfriend had ordered their Vanilla Pecan coffee with a shot of hazelnut and it was REALLY good!! Could have been hotter but was still good! Also their hot chocolate was just the right amount of sweet. Was not a fan of the grilled chicken sandwich but our over all experience was great! The staff was friendly and welcoming. Very cozy place to just relax and talk for hours.

Fantastic flavored tea, Great Cheesecake and Good coffee, however the quiche soup, and salads are far below par than places like Central Market, and Market Street, which are both grocery stores that stock these things. They also dont make the cheese cake. Basically, you will be better off to make your own coffee and tea.

Omg like the food was so totally good, like not even just the coffee, the platters and deserts are like, bomb af. I totes recommend. All the coffee is so creative and delicious, and the space is chill and fun! Their music selection is so gud and they even have books and board games!

I love the coffee, the baked goodies ( I mean, the brownies and reeses peanut butter cookies are to die for!), the ambience and the INCREDIBLE staff! It really gives you the local coffee-shop experience that need to have in your life. Oops, I need another cup of coffee! (:

Great little urban lunch/coffee cafe. Good small & quick lunches you can see being made by hand. Service was friendly. If only they were open later! The outside eating area would be perfect in the evenings with a liquor license and soft live music (hint)..

We work down the street, and this is our favorite coffee house. Excellent coffee, friendly folks, great Wifi. Good place to grab a quick bite, have a cup of coffee, meet someone for lunch, or spend the afternoon studying.

Ordered a medium white mocha that cost 4.60 and tastes like the expensive organic ones that usually cost well over $5. Very good and friendly. Looks like they have a good selection of coffee and other stuff.

Very friendly service and great tea. The bathrooms are clean and the prices are more budget friendly than starbucks. It is easy to find a table and stay for a while on the wifi. Definitely my new study spot.

Had some extra time this morning and decided to go to my favorite coffee shop. Spent a good $12 on a delicious breakfast sandwich, large coffee, and my lunch to go! I love everything about the Brass Bean.
