Retrospective Collective
Got 12 piece with two family sides plus a family order of family fried pickles & glad I checked bag before driving off. Yet obese manager questioned the fact we asked for our fried pickles we were charged for. Checks receipt & says, "oh yeah he got you" & no apology & gives us cold ass fried pickles. Whenever other manager is working restaurant is operated to perfection yet last night was an atrocity. Please reconsider management for the person working Sunday, August 27,2017. Incompetence at its finest this night. I can only imagine how lax it is when this guy is working as manager. Everyone was standing around talking & on cell phones. Smh. This is never the case & Im a usual customer.

Made it here first time last week. Chicken was as good as I have ever had. Bought enough to have left overs several hours later, and it was still tender and wonderfully tasty, the strips had not turned tuff as happens with most other brands strips. The frys were great, even better than that chain known for their frys which I also love, and the bisquit was really good. The kids serving me made me feel like I was the dad of one of them, seemed like I was getting special service. But with chicken this good, the service was just icing on the cake, I wouldnt have been upset if they threw it at me. I will stop back here next time I drive up i-35 past exit 204.

I have been here a few times, the food is overpriced and its hit or miss whether you get hot juicy chicken or warm dry chicken. Im also surprised that they charge for drink refills, and Im not very happy with their employees either, they are usually somewhat rude,and if you need something after you get your order you stand there for a few minutes before someone finally asks if you need something, better off just going somewhere else ,and the sweet tea is just colored sugar water,it tastes like they mixed half sugar and half water. YUCK!!!!

Disappointed today, I go just about every Tuesday and call it "Tuesday chicken night" at home. Two weeks ago, I ordered corn nuggets, got home, they werent in the bag. Today, I let them know about it and they asked me for my receipt, which I didnt have. It shouldnt have been that hard, manager should have taken my word. When I told him that I go just about every Tuesday, he told me "Im here on Tuesdays and havent seen you". WOW! I gave them the food back that I ordered and asked for my money back! Theres more chicken down the road.

Waited 15 minutes to place my order, I was the only customer in the building, there was 1 car in the drive thru... I placed my order, after taking my payment I was told theres a 20 minute wait on chicken, wouldnt even give me my drink until I got my food. When I finally got my food my chicken was not cooked all the way, I had already eaten some of it, the food made me sick to my stomach.

This place is the bomb when it comes to chicken. Working at the school right acroos the street makes it even better. Love their service. The GM always greets us when hes there. Excellent CUSTOMER service and everyone always very friendly. You have to go get yours today! Dont delay!! Chicken Express is tbe bess!

The chicken here is good, especially the sweet tea. The "Tuesday special" is what keeps me going back. Ive never had a problem with service, the majority are young high schoolers who all seem to be very nice. On one occasion they managed to forget my order of corn nuggets but once notified they made it right.

GREAT chicken but service is slow. Seems like theres one person taking orders inside, one person taking drive-thru orders, and one filling the orders, but when the 2 arent taking orders they just stand there and watch the third make all the orders while we wait. Ive seen this twice now and its annoying.

They sure dont know what they are doing. All the customers were waiting for the food, there were 7 or 8 tables were seated, but only one was eating, all others were waiting. I was standing there for more than 5 minutes, but no one willing to take order. Really bad one, dont recommend.

Pretty great chicken at a reasonable price. The sweet tea is also good here. My only wish is that they would throw in Serendipity Salt with your order without having to request it, or if I could just grab some from a bin. Still 5 stars, just with that small caveat.

This place does chicken tenders right. Classic chicken and gravy. It can get pretty busy though so try to go during noon peak hours for the best service. Chicken was golden perfection and okra was crispy bits of heaven
