Wish I could give ZERO STARS!! I went through the drive thru here and spent $35 on a family meal. When I got home, my red beans and rice has no lid and has soaked through the bag and all over the rest of my food, my kitchen table, and floor. I call up to the store and explain to the manager and asked her if she could replace just the beans and rice and she replies "No Im not gonna replace it." So I ask her for the corporate number and she hangs up on me!! I called back and got no answer followed by her picking up and hanging up immediately. I will never go to this location again. Ellen Jones, Im sorry that not only do you have the misfortune of working at popeyes, you also run it sorry as hell. I never cussed at you, obviously you have a reputation for hanging up on every customer who complains. I played myself, really? But youre the one lying over some red beans and rice when theres clearly a long list of complaints on you here. Why bother? Lol, Im clearly not the only person here with the problem. Have fun frying chicken though.

At 12:01 p.m. Tuesday on September 17, 2013 I stopped to get some chicken. The place was packed because of their special. That still doesnt mean that the people that work that shift can get an order right. I got the $2.99 special with a breast and a wing that comes with a biscuit along with an addition of a side order of rice and beans. I work in Austin at Austin Community College so I got the order to go and when I open my order it is wrong!! I got a thigh instead of a breast and no biscuit. Im not a complainer but this day I was hungry and then the staff goes behind the doors and leave all the people standing there and we are all looking at each other wondering whats going on. I can identify the young lady that fixed my order. You need to teach your employees what is a breast and a thigh and not to leave out the biscuits either. Come on people!! For the advertisement you commercial on TV to get this kind of service. No bueno (not good)!!

I dont like posting bad reviews on anyone, but...this place is pretty bad!! We rarely come here and every time in the last year they are "out of" something! Today, they had no coleslaw, no honey, most dipping sauces were unavailable, the soda machine sprayed the only soda my mom drinks all over my arms. A worker just told me, "Yeah, that one sprays." Why is no one fixing the problems! When I asked her to change out the Sprite, she just went to gossip behind counter to other worker. Food was cold, dining room felt like ac was broken, not to mention the rude employees had no customer service skills and seemed clueless when questioned about supplies! Where is management? Or the franchise owner? Someone needs to take responsibility for inventory among other things. Sadly, this is the only Popeyes in our town. Shame on the higher-ups! Do your jobs!

I NEVER leave bad reviews but today is an exception. What a TERRIBLE experience! Both I and the car in front of me waited 5 minutes before anyone took our order. The employee didnt apologize for the long wait. When I drove up to the window, the employee was very unfriendly. I waited there, again for about 5 minutes until she ordered me to pull my car forward because they needed to make fresh chicken strips. Once again, rude and didnt apologize. Okay. Fine. I pulled forward and waited there for TWENTY minutes until she came out and handed me the bag and even then, after 20 minutes, she didnt offer any apologies. Just in case you werent keeping track, I spent 35 minutes in line for THREE chicken strips and terrible customer service. Stay away from this location!

You know what Rachels review made me want to write a response to her sheer incompetence. Rachel PARSLEY you conviniently left out how you were yelling and cursing and calling me and everyone at the store dumb and stupid because YOU spilled your food when you got home. The top was on just fine... You forget we have cameras. And you wonder why I hung up on you?? I give you ONE star for trying me though. Congratulations, you played yourself because there was no way with that attitude I was giving you anything. Better to lose you as a customer than to have you come back and verbally abuse the hardworking people at the store. Next time, put some RESPEK on that $5 box!!!

I love popeyes and id have to say this is probably the worst popeyes i have ever been to. Rude, dumb, service. Forgotten to give me my credit card back in the drive thru on 2 seperate occasions. No way else to explain the employees other than plain stupid. If fact the service is so consistently bad i cant even blame the employees anymore this place must have AWFUL management to keep this up. The food is also awful compared to every other popeyes. Chicken is always overcooked and burnt, country gravy is the consistency of water, usually have very very unpleasant experiences here. Place is in need of new management/owner.

The worst experience I have ever had any where! Over $40 of food came out cold. Were missing multiple fries, red beans and rice. What little lettuce I had on my Poboy was extremly old. Called to complain got hung up on not once but twice! Asked for the corporate office #, the GM name and the MOD in charge she replied this is the manager and hung up AGAIN! We have a large family so we dont eat out often and this the Thanks we get for being loyal customers. Never have I experienced such disrepect. Never again will I eat at this Location.

Im a fan of popeyes but this location needs a team that knows what theyre doing. I sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes and it wasnt even that busy. When I got up to the window I could see 3 employees..one at the window who forgot to give my card back, one working the line(moving slow as molasses), and one standing at the cash register doing absolutely nothing. I have been to this location 4 times and every time I left upset because of the service time. Dont go here unless you have 20 minutes to waste sitting in your car.

I come from west texas and i have never been so disrepected. I spent quite a bit of money just to get stale fries,old chicken and for them to forget 1/3 of my order. By far the worst experience i have ever had with the chain that i once took pride working for and love to eat. And when my wife tried to get the problem rectified,she got hung up on not once but twice. The first time i called i got put on hold for 5 min. and got hung up on my self. If i could give a zero i would.

This location is the WORST one I have ever been to. I have always liked Popeyes. I live next door to this location but Id rather not eat here. They are rude, the food is greasy and they need a whole new revamp on their staff and management. I dont think the owner even cares how bad this San Marcos location sucks. We rather drive to another location or go to KFC. Read other reviews here and you will see. Beware of this location.
