So my boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this place for a while since he saw the food on TV or something. After months of wanting to try it out, we finally went yesterday. Biggest mistake ever. He enjoyed the food but hes a guy so.... what food dont they enjoy? In my opinion the mashed potatoes were watery and bland. Chicken fried steak tasted like a frozen tv dinner. Mac & cheese was the only thing decent on my plate. So we finished our food and left. Everything was normal until a few hours later when I woke up and heard him throwing up from both ends. If you catch my drift. He was in and out the bathroom 3 times before he gave up and asked me for a pillow and blanket so he can lay on the bathroom floor. He said he wasnt able to leave the bathroom until like 3am. His stomach was still hurting this morning and he couldnt eat anything yet either. Only thing he ate that I didnt eat there was the meatloaf. So everyone, you can go for the drinks, just dont go for the food. The service is a amazing though Ill give them that. The lady behind the bar was serving people outside and inside all while trying to ward off the creep at the bar trying to converse with her the entire time.

Service started off slow, bartenders werent overly ambitious to provide services. There was maybe 20 people total in the whole place. Sat outside on the amazing deck, once engaged with the outdoor waitress things got better. Very friendly and attentive waitress. The draft beer was not ice cold as you would expect with the fancy beer taps, maybe theyre not working properly. The bean and cheese nachos consisted of 10 normal sized chips which had a good flavor but toppings were sparse. The King Ranch casserole was delish but would recommend adding either a vegetable or piece of Texas toast to compliment the serving. The Philly cheesesteak with shoestring fries was excellent! This bar and grill has a casual atmosphere, but a rather strict dresscode. I understand the no colors, but no face or neck tattoos....especially when most of the staff is heavily tatted up. Living in this local vacinity I would.love to see this place make it, we need more options in this area. More attention to customer service and minor details is definitely needed.

I really wanted to like this place. Its a new bar, and the pictures on Instagram/Facebook show a really cool atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was seriously lacking. The waitress was essentially set up for failure, as she was the only server for 10+ tables. I was even more put off with the fact that there were 4 bartenders who only acknowledged those sitting at the bar and refused to lend a hand to the overworked waitress. To put things into prospective, I received my food before I received my beer (more than 30 minutes after I arrived). In addition, I ordered a 32 oz mug and received a pint glass because they had run out of clean mugs, mind you the barback was on his phone/watching the spurs game almost the entire time I was there. I left as soon as I finished my food and the experience just really dampened my mood/night.

I gave this place 3 chances lol. First time was for a UFC fight and they were way understaffed, unorganized, kitchen closed without notice, orders were mixed up, etc. 2nd time, drink orders were mixed up and took forever. 3rd time, ONE bartender (she was good and fast but why only one), and NO A/C. Management here really needs to step it up. They have NO idea how to run anything. Sometimes they are not even that packed and still cant get it together. Management seems lazy, doesnt care about the employees or customers, needs to step it up or let someone else take over. This is a really nice spot, bar with patio and all so if they just step it up it will be great.

Me and my husband were excited to try this place since it is very close to our home. We arrived and ALL staff seemed to be in a bad mood. We sat and waited 20 minutes to get a menu. We asked a couple servers for help and all responded "give me a second". After other 10 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. What a bummer and disappointment since this place seems to have so much potential but their horrible customer service will bring them down.

Short staff, bartenders noticed us but had no consideration and personality to acknowledge us. While waiting for about 7 min right in front of the bartender serving area. I understand how the bar life works when busy. Just please always greet your customer, even when busy. Other than the crappy bartenders, the facility and atmosphere was great. We decided to leave, maybe next time we wont have the same bartenders.

Weve come quiet a few times and I always go for my whiskey lemonade. It first started out as a 16oz glass at $7. Okay, thats worth it. Now recently it comes in this small glass, I get maybe 3 sips and Im done..and you guessed the price! $7! Food is okay, fried items (fried pickles and French fries) were super soggy. See photo. I want to really like this place, but I guess I will stick to beer when I come.

I wanted to give this place the benefit of doubt since the live music is really awesome and it has a nice atmosphere but service was lacking and drinks were so so unless you get beer. Staff might have been overwhelmed but we got ignored. Two stars because this place has potential to be a lot better Im willing to give it another try in the future but was disappointed last time.

Decent enough place to get drink if you dont mind waiting forever just to get some service. Sat at the bar and the waitress completely ignored us, serving a couple who clearly arrived after we did. Music was playing outside, and it was loud but ok inside. Slow service, and watered down drinks, youre better off trying another bar.

I had high hopes for this place. Ive been here twice and nothing but bad service. The bartenders are great, the waitresses not so much. I waited over 30 minutes for a beer that I never got and waited another 20 minutes for my tab because the waitress didnt know what she was doing. Even the runner was more knowledgeable

This place has horrible service!! They have 4 bartenders & 1 waitress. So unless youre sitting at the bar, dont expect to be served at a reasonable time. It literally took the waitress 30 minutes to get 2 beers!! The food was ok, but unfortunately the crappy service was an indicator to never come back.

Whiskey trees staff is very friendly and extremely attentive to their patrons. The atmosphere is smazing. This side of town definitely needed a bar like this. Fyi its a bar not a restaurant. But they do serve som amazing food for a bar!!

Came here with my parents expecting it to be a grill with more food choices, sadly it only has a few things to eat. Soda was flat. And playing like metal music or something??? Also its hot as heck inside. should just be a bar..

Not a great place, female elbartender treats you like an inconvenience and not very friendly! No industry discount, have a dress code, but yet pants can be worn below the ass ....will not be back!!! This place sucks!!!
