I think it is nice there. I dont really live close to downtown and i prefer la cantera. Ive also been to the imax theater they have there many times for field trips. I once saw a girl who was having a quince there, and she was walking though the mall with her court. she looked so cool, i would want to do something like that when i have my quince or sweet 16. Just one thing will probably prevent me and my friends and family from ever going back: i was with my parents and 2 friends and younger bro, and we were in gamestop because that is my bros favorite store. All of a sudden we looked out of the store and saw a big group of people crowding around something. We were really confused. My dad went and joined the curious crowd of shoppers and came back to us in the store and told us there was a fight going on. We rushed out and went to the nearby riverwalk. We later saw a security guard and asked him what had happened. He nicely informed us that there were two high school aged boys who got into an argument, and their quarrel soon turned physical. Some security guards soon came to the rescue and broke up the fight, which only lasted about a minute. Besides those teen boys, no one was injured, and no weapons were used. This was a scary experience, and we would return here if that hadnt scarred us for life. -me.xx

Okay so I dont know what place to eat at because theres a lot of choices that look good like : IHOP, Little Tokyo, Wok, and hen theres BLIMPIES. I really love subway so I thought this was going to taste like it since they have a look a like menu. So I order my favorite sandwich The Bog Philly thinking it would taste like subway, In the middle of making my sub they picked it up and grease was dripping down like not s little bit but hardcore grease. I didnt notice it at the time but my brother did he didnt say anything until we were done order in it. He told me that it made a puddle of grease and that it looked nasty. I took a bite out of it and the first bite that I took was absolutely disgusting the bread/ chips were stale so I thought to myself maybe one more bite because maybe Ill like it once I try the meet in it and it was even worse. I tried to return it since I only took two bites and I go up to them and they say no you can not have your money back or another sub. So this is just my experience and it was horrible thats why Im giving it one star.

Parking is a nightmare at the garage! All the machines are broken. I paid inside (had to push the button for assistance because the machine wont work), immediately walked out and tried to leave and they wanted me to pay again! Had to wait A long time for assistance because I think the guy next to me was having the same issue. The attendant (yes they only had one) was not helpful at all! She said it wasnt paid, had me read of the numbers, then said it was paid, but I would have to pay again! WHAT!?! Then the rate increased and she said no it wasnt paid! I had other people in the car that heard this craziness. I suspect the whole thing is a scam. Yes, it was only $6 more, but it was so frustrating. I will not be going there again for a VERY long time and I will never park in this garage again!

This mall barely deserves one star. The major issues I have with this mall is the parking price. I understand that this mall is right next to the Alamo and the riverwalk, so you can make a profit, but the shopping area on Hollywood Blvd. is a lot cheaper, and could definitely charge the prices River Center is charging. The bathrooms are alright, but they lack something EVERY DECENT BATHROOM HAS, a coat hook to place your coat/jacket while you are in a stall. The only good thing they have for them is the food court since they have some unique places to eat. Speaking of the food court, expect to be yelled at by all the food court employees to yell at you to eat at their place, and disrespect the other places, this only applies to the non-fast food restaurants.

Not for me. If I could I would give them 5 stars plus for the ordering system. Cool way to order a sandwich. But the sandwich I ordered, a roast beef with tomato, lettuce, mayo and mustard I took two bites and tossed the rest. I honestly cant tell you why - accept to say the bread was mushy not of good quality and the ingredients were substandard. I do not like giving poor reviews. Their customer service was excellent and their shakes - were as good as Johnny Rockets, Red Robin or Fuddruckers. I am not a Subway fan but always finish every bite of sandwich I order at a Subway - yet, Blimpie for some reason, I could not eat. To be fair the place was packed - and everyone else around me were happy eating the food.

This mall is, quite beautiful, an eye opener for any tourist but not the best place for shopping. You can be done shopping in 2 hours cause there are not much intertesting stores and every time I´ve gone is heavily crowded, if you want to do some intense shopping there are more outlets and malls that will keep you busy for several hours. So now you know, if you want to have a beautiful scenery come to Rivercenter Mall but if you want to shop like crazy go to an outlet, if you have lots of extra bucks to spend try Cantera Mall.

The customer service at this location was ridiculous. They argued about every veggie we asked for on our sandwiches and when a pregnant person asked for the sandwich to be toasted they tried to deny it. Due to health concerns a pregnant person cant eat cold meats. Then when we got the sandwich it was still cold. We asked for a refund for that one sandwich and the manager on duty would not even talk to us. Honestly food doesnt bring customers back so Im surprised they have a single sale.

I ALWAYS try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. I give it at least 3 tries before being totally turned off because with food places the experience will always vary. I have been here at least 3-4 times and I must say they are consistently BAD! The veggies are limp and old, the meats are NOT of good quality. I realize everyone cant be GREAT, but this place is substandard at best! Their customer service is lacking to put it mildly and their food gets a low D- for me.

Went to the mall, per recommendation of friends who lived in the area and from googling places to go to while in San Antonio. Overall its a nice mall reminiscent of the Dallas Galleria but the food court was atrocious. Birds were flying around as were eating and bugs everywhere. I totally understand were by the Riverwalk (not eating outside, we were eating inside away from the Riverwalk outdoor seating) but there shouldnt be bugs and animals around.

Lotta hype, over crowded with locals with a perpetual wish list not really buying anything but just hanging out like pesty mall rats taking up space. Parking for the most part becomes parking for visitors and tourists who are visiting the city so it becomes an inconvenience when you really need it. Many prices are tourist prices unless you catch the seasonal change of inventory. Restaurants are o.k.
