Worst service ever. I would suggest going to the one by the Rim or any other for that matter if you actually like dinning places with people greeting and acknowledging you. Hostesses are rude and just walk pass as if you werent even there to where you would need to wave them down in order to be seated. Waiters are also very rude.. I had placed an order for some gringo dip for my friend and I and had even asked my friend if that was alright, the waitress just looked at me and walked away, then minutes went by where I would see her walking back and forth past us not acknowledging us and bringing out everyones food except ours which was just an order of chips and some microwaved cheese? So I had to flag her down and asked if our chips were coming out soon, she replied saying she didnt even know I had ordered chips and she would put the order in. My friend turned towards me and looked puzzled for she said she even heard me ask for them... whenever the waitress finally came back for our chips 20 minutes later she told me " next time you order something else speak up" my friend and I were very shocked at how rude someone could be towards a customer?? Blaming me for a mistake she made?? I was perfectly speaking loud and clear when I had asked, I even made eye contact with her when I ordered! I was nice the entire time but very disappointed in the service I had received. This wasnt the first time though I received bad service at this specific 54th off Culebra & 1604.

Burgers/any meat actually cooked med or medium well is hit or miss here every time. Fried pickles are amazing! Better than Texas Roadhouse soggy chip style. BUT lately the person sprinkling that seasoning over them has a heavy hand and its way too damn much! Takes away from the rest of the flavor. To go order people are always friendly and accommodating. To go orders are always on time. They even have a special parking spot and bring the food out to you which is GREAT if you have kids in the car and it would be apocalyptic to get them out, go in to pick up bags, pay, and get them back in the car. Just make sure you double check your dipping sauces and utensils are in the bag!! Even if they SAY its in there, it isnt always. Fries are perfect every time. Not too soft nor too greasy or crispy. Perfectly crisp. Perfect amount of seasoning as to not overpower the actual taste of the fry. Gringo sauce and chips are amazing. Their other dip is good too! I believe its spinach and artichoke, and I dont even like artichokes! Their alcoholic drinks are always good. I especially like their margaritas! Cleanish bathrooms. They try their best to keep the floors clean, even if it means cleaning around your feet and chairs while youre trying to enjoy your meal.

1. Unreasonably slow service 2. My friend found a hair in her burger 3. The tilapia straight up tasted like dirt First time here, not coming back. I ordered the fish, shrimp, and chips. The fish and shrimp were fried beyond recognition. The tilapia they get must come from a cheap distributor as it tastes strongly of mud (indication of unclean living conditions for farm raised fish). Needless to say I didnt eat it. We waited until after our appetizer and after our food arrived for the waitress to finally remember we asked for napkins and utensils. Who goes to a restaurant and has to ask for napkins and utensils more than once? We were her only table. She took 5-10 mins to return to our table to pick up our payments and I asked her what was taking her so long. She didnt return our payments but had another waitress come and put all of our cards and receipts in a stack on our table without handing them out to us like a normal server would. At least they gave my friend her meal free bc of the black hair in her burger, half she had already eaten.

(City Base Location) Worse service ever! I ordered a sirloin cooked rear and with a tortilla soup. When I was served the steak was soaking in tortilla soup because the waitress had spilled the soup on the steak... no apologies nor intention to provide me with another steak; the waitress response was "it is still good". The steak was cooked rear but... the center was FROZEN!! I am still trying to figure out how did that happen. I finished my drink before I was served with a steak and there was not one employee that offered me a refill, and when finally one came was to just give me the bill. But to top this experience, I visited the restroom to realize that the sink could not be used because there was a plunger in it... go figure. This has been a very bad experience. And I really, really hate to write bad reviews!, but there guys at 54th Street Restaurant deserve this one. It hurt to pay the bill, and I was so close not to even leave a tip.

I was very happy with my experience at 54th. We went about 9 pm on a Saturday night, the wait time for a table was about 35 minutes, not to bad considering its Saturday. Once seated, our waitress came quickly and took our drink orders. Soon after our food order was taken. I ordered some fried pickles as my appetizer, my main course came first. I let the waitress know, who apologized and asked if I would still like them since my main course had already come. I really wanted them so I said yes. Very soon after, the manager came to our table with my fried pickles and apologized. He was very nice and I was very appreciative that he took the time to come and apologize for their mistake. He took very good care of us. Last week I had a horrible experience with BJs Brewhouse, so it was very refreshing to go somewhere with good food and good customer service. I will be back!!!

Came in to have dinner. Ordered a drink in the bar while we waited to be seated. Ordered am appetizer too. Both were great. Ordered the special, fillet mignon.server came back. They were out of the filet mignon. Who knew? Obviously, not the wait staff. No problem, we ordered something else. My friend ordered sirloin steak and I ordered chicken and ribs. My friends salad arrived. We waited.. soon dinner arrived. Along with my salad and the bread ( that should have come with the salad) my chicken and ribs was barely warm. I called for the manager, he offerded to warm my food when I was tasty fo5e it. He then offered to remake my dinner when I said that was not acceptable. I finally accepted a salad to go. And this is what I for. For 11 dollars..salad p pulling.

Wow! We were on our way to Sea World San Antonio and decided to stop in for brunch before heading to the park. We are so glad we did, the service was amazing (thanks Alley!), the food was fantastic, and the drinks were spot on! We had the Gringo dip for a starter which was just yummy with a twist. We opted to split a Maui Jims Chicken salad and Alley heard us and had the kitchen split the salad for us onto 2 plates (which were full and overflowing). We had a good time, the service was great, the food was was tasty, the beer and drinks were spot on, and the bathrooms were clean. I wont give a 5 star rating until they can give me the same service more then once and at more than one of their locations. I will say that we are going to put them to the test!
