The only good thing about 410 Diner is the service. The waitress was very happy and entergetic as well as provided great service. If you want to go to an old diner just to get that nostalgic feel then 410 Diner offers that but its going to cost you more than if you had picked one of the many other home cooking restaurants. The prices were high for the mediocre food that you receive. On the menu it states something to the extent of "food like your mother used to cook" which is true if your mother sucked at cooking. The portions were also smaller than what you would get at other restaurants which is not necessarily bad since portions are usually huge but you get less for your money. As well the menu does not offer any explanation as to what is in the dishes or how they are prepared so enjoy staring in confusion at it or asking your waitress 100 questions. If you are interested in going just to try it out then by all means go ahead but if you are on the fence between going 410 Diner and somewhere else then I recommend going elsewhere.

The chop steak was great however the rest of the experience and food on our table wasnt that great. The server appeared to be high as a kite on meth and the owner or manager was very rude when we complained about a hair in our food. Our waitress said she was going to tell him and spaced it out and so we mentioned it before leaving and he was an ass at first until he talked to her and I guess she admitted forgetting to tell him. He refunded our money for the plate that had the hair in the breaking of the fried chicken only after my husband brought it to his attention that no one in the kitchen was wearing a hairnet and talking to the waitress. Im really disappointed in our experience because I loved the mashed potatoes and chopped steak I had but will NEVER return.

Modernized throwback in time. Clean spotless restrooms with hand rails. Interior beautifully done. Outside of building is also undergoing a coat of paint. Waitress who seated us was friendly and helpful providing information on specials & other items on menu. The two others at our table ordered as main entrees chopped sirloin & salmon. My choice for lunch was chicken fried steak with two sides for $9.95. Customer has choice of breads. Opted for their great cornbread. There was more than enough food to satisfy the average working man. Being conscious of my health & weight, appreciated the portion controlled side dishes.

Me and my family was visiting for the weekend when we came across this Diner. The waiter that seated us was friendly, and our waiter Shannon was AWESOME! She was attentive.I order the grilled chicken, and let me tell you that was the best grilled chicken Ive had in a long time! The chicken was juicy, and the flavors was on point! The sweet tea and cornbread was to die for!!!.I think I had like 4 glasses!Definitely will be back!!!!!!

The wait staff, atmosphere, pricing, and appearance were all exemplary. The food was very good except for the fries which are frozen. The snapper with mushrooms, capers, and heart of palm in dill sauce was stellar! The onion rings were hand battered and delicious. Our waitress was very nice and helpful and I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a quick bite in a casual 50s style setting.

Food was good but service makes me not want to come back. They were nice when we got in but they sat us all the way in the back corner of the restaurant where no one was. Our waitress Jen, brought us our food and then sat in the corner talking until we were done. She wasnt polite or courteous at all. Like I said food was good but they could use some serious customer service training

The service was decent but you would think in this day and age racism would be dead and gone ..the entire time i was there all the waitress was doing was watching me n my brother and never bothered to help us until it was last minute but guess thats close minded ppl for ya...i would nvr go back ...lack of flavor and originality as well :l

Great menu variety offering many side dishes. The service has been very good both times Ive been. Ive only recently stumbled upon it and plan on making it a frequent stop. Its home cooking without having to clean up. They have yams! Fresh green beans... Not canned. Delicious chicken fried chicken and steak. Try it!

Love the Exterior of the art deco building. Nice booths and most importantly my meal was excellent. The bad is the over kill of too many Elvis and Marylin Monroe pictures and posters and my waitress was some Yankee woman in a rush to make a buck and turn her table over as soon as possible.

The seafood platter consisted of catfish fillets, 6 shrimps, hush puppies and cornbread. The catfish fillets had a nice light batter and were fried to perfection. I was blown away by the curried okra I had on the side. I shall return to try some of the other delectable delights.

I enjoy eating here for the friendly retro atmosphere and food. My favorite menu items are cheeseburgers, onion rings, fried fish, choose 5 veggie plate, carrot cake, and chocolate milk shakes. If you like 50s vintage memorabilia and good food, definitely visit 410 Diner.

My waitress got my order wrong get the first time, so I ended up just waiting on my meal for almost an hour. When I finally got the "chickadee" it tasted so bad. Bad batter and extremely over greasy. The upside, the fried mushrooms and the corn bread were great

The food was awful. I hated it here. Very Disappointed. I didnt eat my food because it looked and the first bite tasted reheated. When I told the waitress she apologized but they still charged me for food I didnt eat and food that wasnt fresh. Do NOT eat here.

Ive been a 410 Diner customer since 1995 & have always enjoyed any meal ordered. Wait staff are very professional. If you see an item on their Internet menu and wonder if you will like it, you will. Atmosphere is superb and relaxing. Hope they never close.

GREAT AMERICAN DINER FARE! Good value and good food. We shared a lasagna dish that was big enough for both of us. Service was good, food was good American food. It was a solid meal but nothing exotic to go on about. Definitely worth a return visit!

I love this place! Classic diner with lots of different options to choose from. Cant go wrong with the club sandwich, though! The staff is always really nice and despite the lunch hour being pretty busy, the service is speedy!
