I rather much like La Madeiline. Food, great. Atmosphere, great. But ,unfortunately for this La Madeline, service was mediocre, employees maintaining conversation even when noticing there is a customer waiting to give them there order, time wait for food was longer than it should have been, and I do not appreciate it when I see an employee carry food from the kitchen, in her palms( she did wear gloves) to an order sitting on the counter of the to go station in front of the customers, for me that was a bit unsafe carrying food around like that. You could notice that employees were taking their time with orders which is a bit annoying because customer want their food out as quick as possible. I ordered a chicken parisian duet with pasta and side salad. The pasta and salad were the first things out of course but the sandwich took approximately 15 to bring out even then when I checked the sandwich the chicken was cold on the outside but warm on the inside the placement of the chicken and cheese on top look as If they took scrapes from another sandwich and put it in the sandwich. And the toast was really dry and too toasted. Pasta... well not good but not bad either. This establishment should try to push there employees to move a bit quicker especially if the cafe is more than half full and to go orders are piling up. Im sure the employees all have wonderful attitudes, but their time management from the orders to the customers should be a lot quicker. Personally, I will not be returning to that unit, but others if who are willing to wait a while and chat with friends, enjoy!

It is a Friday afternoon and I placed an online order as a request from my husband who had been at home ill for the day. Once the order was placed I received a call that they did not have the product available to full the complete order. I made a substitute. When I got the the restaurant NONE of the order was ready - not even the two sandwiches I had ordered. But there were several workers standing around doing nothing, THEN when I received my order it did not include one of the items I had ordered online. I called the store and received numerous apologies and then the manager hung up on me. A few minutes later she called back once again apologizing saying she "dropped the phone". I am frustrated and angry at the service but there is something else corporate needs to address. The place was DIRTY. the floors both behind the counter and at the entrance were dirty, there was an trash can in the entrance that was overflowing and there were gnats flying around the bread - which was open, and also in the checkout counter area. This place has taken a nosedive downhill. I have been eating here over ten years and I have never seen it like this. This was just before the dinner rush and I experienced an unfilled order, dirty public areas, and employees standing around talking. No since of urgency in a location where if you stand in the street count at least 20 food establishments. I put my crepe down my garbage disposal and I will not be returning.

I had to do a business trip to a certain merchant around this area, and decided to go to La Madeleine. I just moved here from Tennessee not too long ago, so I have never tried this place before. I decided to get a sort of chicken pot pie, and sat outside. The first bite was excellent, and then the second bite, I heard a large crunch sound. I pulled out a dime right out of my mouth like some magician. I was terrified on what happened. I did not want to make a big scene, so I nicely went over to one of the workers there, and just explained to them what happened so they can just be aware ... and just take more precaution so it does not happen to someone else. The worker apologized so much, and was saying sorry like no other. She had asked me if I wanted a replacement meal, and I kindly declined, as I did not want to have them make me another meal when they were already busy. As I was about to leave, the lady was so very kind to actually hand me a to go box with a fresh meal, and insisted that Id take it. I thanked her for what she did, and left. This time, there was no dime in my food. Sadly, I do not think I will be going to La Madeleine, just because I feel like if I see their food, Im seeing a dime with it too. But over all, that first bite was excellent.

We eat at La Madeleine all the time. In the last 6 months, it seems ever visit get worst. Today we walk in and probably 25 tables are dirty. In the hour we were there only 1 table was cleaned off. With 14 employees I saw it was not a matter of under staffing. More like a very poor management. I ordered Country French Breakfast only got part of it. The potato galette was missing ,the server who brought it said it would be right out. I never got it ,it was never made. In the mean time, I watch 8 employees chatting at the kitchen window ignoring all of the customer coming down the serving line. Learn to Mange your restaurant. Maybe you could give a Damn.

The food was great, as always, but this location has decided to change the ordering process. Most la Madeleines you order off the menu to the person in the front, but if you are ordering from the serving line, you get a tray and go on. This location, no matter what you are ordering, you have to give it to the person at the front....it made the process long and irritating, the line was out the door and the serving line was totally empty. I will never visit this location again.

We had the best experience this morning! Me and 28 of my UTD colleagues rolled in all together, and had a wonderful breakfast. The La Madeleine staff was friendly, easy-going, and fast with smiles on their faces. Tess was especially wonderful, as she took our orders and made sure everything was just right. The French Country breakfast and Parisian Eggs Benedict are to die for, and give me an authentic croissant and jam any day. Thank you!

Had a horrible experience. Me and my family ordered food, then someone else would come by to take our order. This happened about 3 times before they started preparing it. My dad sat down with my baby since it was taking so long and they accused him of stealing food when I got to the end of the line. Very bizarre and uncomfortable. The food was fine, but I dont think I will be returning.

Unfortunately the service and food quality is suffering. Took 20 min to get all of our order. Staff is disinterested at best. The poor manager is running around trying to cover for either short staffing or just bad staffing. Not sure if I will return after two bad dinning experiences in a row.... is it worth it?... Not for me.

The to-go order we placed took FOREVER to get, though it was mostly because they seemed to be slammed on to-go orders that day. Food is always delicious. We crave it about once a month. Their chicken ceasar salad and chicken friande are my favorites. Make sure to take advantage of the free bread and jam!
