Simply Amazing
I usually dont write reviews, but this was an amazing breakfast. We used to go to iHop every sunday, but we started to venture out and we are glad that we did. Starwood Cafe is one of the best breakfast places that me, my wife and 3 kids all enjoy. Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Pancakes - all perfect. I have never found a place where I actually liked the bacon, but here the applewood bacon was great and I ate all of it. Hash browns were crispy and full of flavor. Pancakes were much better than iHop. Service was good and food probably came out within 10 minutes of ordering on a busy Fathers day. My bill was also less than any other breakfast Ive been for a comparable meal for 5. Even though there was a 30 minute on Fathers day to get in, you can walk around the lake and it helps time go by fast. This place and WildWest in Grapevine are the best breakfast places that we found. Normas Cafe in Frisco is 2nd. Starwood Cafe was a great find. This place is probably not going to remain a secret for long. Thank you for a great experience. Robert

The service and quality exemplified by the staff and owner at the McKinney location highly impressed me this morning. The food was excellent; I had the chicken and waffles and they ran right alongside the famous chicken n Waffles restaurant in Atlanta i always go to called Gladys Knights. The coffee was superb; tasted almost like specialty coffee. The owner noticed one of the people at our table didnt order a meal, so she and our waiter gave him a free cappuccino and a free meal. You just dont see this generosity anymore. Love this restaurant; I am now going to be a regular.

Omelette was good. Large, somewhat filling. I eat low-carb so havent been able to try the pancakes, waffles, snd skillets people have raved about. Bacon tastes great (but when doesnt it?). Server seemed brand new to the role but was industrious and polite. Coffee was pretty good, a littl weak-ish, and I like medium-roast coffee. Ill come back on a day I choose to eat carbs and see if i can bump the rating up. Parking on a weekend has to be difficult with all the construction going on, and limited street parking.

First impression: came for breakfast and it was awesome. loved my meal, had great service. not a problem. We came back a couple months later for lunch and left very unpleased. Im sure my mashed potatoes came from a box, my chicken and burger had no seasoning what so ever. burger was very over cooked, and the chicken fried chicken had more breading than chicken. not worth my $30 at all. on top of that my server wasnt very attentive either. I guess this place is only for breakfast.

Starwood Cafe is in the middle of residential area; I thought it was strange when I first drove in, but it is worth it. My wife and I got the corn beef hash and the chicken skillet breakfast. Both were good, with wonderfully crispy hash browns. I knocked off a star for the lack of concern for the coffee I spilled. I spilled a cup and most of it ended up on the floor. They wiped up the table and the seats, but left the coffee on the floor. #OSHA

I had the pleasure of going to this new location twice last week, including Mothers Day. Ive been to the Frisco location several times and now thankful we have a great breakfast place in McKinney, that isnt a large franchise. Love the modern industrial feel on the interior. Food is always great. If I could make one request it would be that they have outside seating. In the meantime, try and get a table with the water view :0)

Food is excellent been eating here since they have opened. Staff is overall great..... owners wife needs to work on her people skills. Have seen her chastise servers in front of customers and find it to be disrespectful to customers and embarrassing to hard-working, dedicated staff. Husband and other managers understand customers can choose where they dine and do so because of overall ambience not just to "eat and get".

Subpar at best. The crepes are "wet" and not cooked all the way. Worst crepes Ive ever had. The Eggs Benedict was meh. The English muffin was not toasted enough, the ham was under cooked. Although the hash browns were on point, the pancakes were fluffy and delightful and the bacon was some of the best around. Not worth the price though. They do have avocado toast though if thats more your style.

Thank you to Tania, great service and we got our food within 7 minutes. They were a full dining room at this time. Eggs were great, hot chocolate looked amazing and the crepes were good. Maybe cook them a little longer however. Consider bringing the crepe its own fork and knife when a customer orders something else on the side, not that I dont enjoy nutella. But I dont enjoy nutella eggs

I have been to Starwood Cafe two times and both experiences have been just great. The restaurant was clean, the food was of high quality, the wait staff was pleasant and the prices were reasonable. The first visit I had their avocado on toast and they were very generous with the avocado. The second time I had pancakes that were enormous and so delicious. Highly recommend.

They have delicious crepes and pancakes. The staff is always nice and the wait is never too long even on crowded days like Sunday mornings. It has a nice view if you do wait outside and they put chairs out. I always take my stroller and feel completely safe to park it and leave it outside. There is a parking garage but the walk is not too bad. Awesome place!

This is my 3rd time here.. My mother came from California , my aunt from Utah and my Daughter is US Marine came from CA and I wanted to show them this restaurant because i liked it alot. But as soon we sat i was unhappy. we didnt even sat together. NOT coming back again. I think customer service should be equal to everyone.

Great folks here always accommodating This place is sometimes packed and other times pretty light. Like to meet here with the guys for Friday coffee and catchup on the week. Perfect place to sit and enjoy. Wish they opened before 7 though...would like to meet more often but that pesky j.o.b. calls and says I need to git.

We will definitively be back! Friendly staff and outstanding service. The pancake portions are huge. The huevos rancheros were amazing. Well, except for the beans...they were not warmed through. Other than that one small thing its a great place for breakfast and we will be back again soon. You will not leave hungry :)

The food was really great and the price is reasonable. The service was a little slow however I can see the reason for that the restaurant is extremely popular. The waitress always had a smile and did her very best to make sure every table was satisfied.
