I have gone to this place for years. Pasados used to be THE place to go on Friday nights or the weekend. Theyve fallen a long ways since then. They had a skeleton crew. I was in a party of 3. We were sat in the bar area. The poor bartender was all alone in waiting on all 10 tables. Only took 10 minutes to get drinks ordered. (We went ahead and ordered our food at the same time) And another 5 to actually have drinks in the table. The food finally came another 45 minutes later. While other tables seated after us had already started eating. Drinks went empty and we continued to fill up on chips. Pretty sure the manager was either cooking food, or hiding in the back, or he/she wasnt there. Seeing how a manager was never spotted Im going to say the manager was not on site. Ive had more than one experience at this location with similar results. The food is great, but the service is far below the standard they once set. Ive just thought they were having a bad day on previous dinings. Today theyve proven this is the worst place in Frisco, or this area to dine at. Unless you like empty glasses, slow service, lack of management presence, and longer lunch hours that most people. Then I would stay away from this place.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Sat down, server greeted us quickly and we ordered drinks. Took a while for the bar drinks to arrive and my large sangria margarita seemed like a Virgin drink. When I mentioned it to the server he didnt seem to care and ignored me, asking my sister if she liked hers. The food was taking forever and then we heard a crash. Server came with half of our food but said the loud crash had been my pregnant sister and nieces food. The rest of us started to eat and about 15 minutes later when we were about done we asked the server about the other food and he said there had been a rush in the kitchen and their food got pushed to the back. When their food finally arrived my sister could hardly cut or chew her meat. We were already laughing about how horrible everything had been and a SPIDER CRAWLED ACROSS OUR TABLE! We killed it with the chip basket and when someone came to clear our table we told him about the spider and he said "huh...looks like hes dead now". This place was laughably horrible. No one ever came to check on us and the server was probably new or oblivious. My family and I will never return and do not recommend for anyone to ever go here!

In a lot of ways, this place is a classic hole-in-the-wall tex-mex restaurant. Colorful, loud and at times bustling with beer and margaritas flowing, it looks the part. Except that its a big corporate chain that wants to be a tex-mex hole-in-the-wall, but isnt. The food ranges from good (fajitas, with garlic butter dipping) to weak. Ive ordered the burrito a few times and its always swimming in grease. Im not a guy who is overly concerned about making sure all of my food is healthy by any means. Grease in a dish doesnt bother me, but this is excessive. Saving grace of the place (aside from thd drinks) is the tortilla machine. Tortillas fresca, piping hot with salsa (not bad either), butter or both are great.

Jessica (new manager) runs this place. She is AMAZING. My wife and I have been coming to this Posados for 7 years and she has always been out favorite waitress. Shes friendly, quick, remembers our order and always gets it right. She is a big reason we continue to come back. While we are glad that she has been rewarded with a management position, were sad that were less likely to get her to be our server! However, even when we do go, she still makes it a point to stop by and say hi and ensure that our food and service is great. We noticed the other night were there that she was greeting numerous tables by name -- that is a sign of a great customer service employee.

Service was great unfortunately the food is extremely salty. I ordered charbroiled chicken and it tasted very salty. The charro beans tasted like they were one day of spoiling and salty. The rice was hard and seemed like it was not cooked all the way. I ordered a diet drink that tasted like remnants of bleach. Their water is much better tasting. Our waitress was amazing but we decided not to complain . So self serve ice cream and sopapillas are free. I served the chocolate ice cream and it tasted like the milk had gone sour. Went to get vanilla and they were out at 7:00 pm. For the prices they charge, I feel the food should be better tasting and more appealing.

Usually its an ok place to eat. I have eaten there before but tonight the chicken had a fishy after taste. Though its the chicken for everything except the fajita chicken. Apparently they use a different supplier for the fajita chicken than the chicken used for burritos, tacos, etc. So beware for a while if you have something other than the fajita chicken you might taste a fishy after taste, unless you have something mixed with it. Then the beans, etc. overrides the fish taste. Please say something to management so they can let the chain supplier know!

The water and the chip lady is the best thing about this place. The service is very poor. She brought over a tray of dirty dishes from someone elses table and had my side of sour cream and guacamole on the same tray. And ask me to grab it off so she didnt have to put it down. No knowledge of the menu. I will never eat or drive by this place again. Not worth my money nor if they gave me my food for free. Dont waste your time coming here. They a serious crash course of customer service.

I made a online reservation thinking that it would be a long wait considering a Saturday evening in Plano area. When I went there the greeter at front had no idea about online reservation but the restaurant was not that crowded so we were seated immediately. The food was so so and bit pricey compared to similar tex-mex places in this area which are far better tasting food at a reasonable price. I will not be going back here.

Ive eaten at this Posados a couple times in my life, and the last time I got RIDICULOUSLY SICK from FOOD POISONING. I dont know what it was, but I had about 5 bites of food and felt TERRIBLE. Come to find out, now that Im dating someone who used to work there, the restaurant is FILLED with bugs and cockroaches. He quit for that very reason. I will NEVER eat there again. Beware!!!

Table was dirty, like stuck food dirty. We didnt notice it til my hand touched it and our food had just arrived. This time unfortunately the food made me sick :( . The sauted vegetables are consistently disappointing so I just spotted get them. The knives to cut fajita meat are a little questionable. So disappointed with the quality as of late.

Live and work near here and cant get enough Posados. Fajitas are the best. Amazing salsa, although not very hot. Fresh made tortillas. True TexMex (not authentic Mexican, very Americanized), and really great. Never had a bad experience. Agree with another reviewer: they need to get their Fajita Chicken more consistent.
