I went to Skooners to watch the Texas Tech bowl game with some friends. Everything was fine until they cut off the sound of a tied bowl game during the last quarter so that some talentless amateurs could belt out karaoke (if it wasnt so sad it would have been comical). So to say the least that was the first and last time I will ever go to Skooners.

Grabbed a quick drink with a friend around dinner time. Most booths and some tables were full, and there were only a few spots open at the bar. Definitely a popular place with the locals. With moderately priced drinks and great service, I can understand why!

The worse place to work... If you only knew the gross stuff that goes on in that back... lets just say good place to drink, terrible place to eat... Also I will say the bar tenders rock but management is terrible...
