This place makes me forget how much I hate the 50s by bringing the 50s into today. With its authentic atmosphere and cheerful disposition, I am not just transported to Grease without John Travoltas stupid dance capabilities, but also to that one movie that Shia Labeuf tried to pretend to be Harrison Fords son. Stupid time period aside the jukeboxs music selection is lit, and I loved my malt, despite no one knowing what a malt truly is.

I came here on a beautiful warm day sometime in February. So as expected, the line was long. But I got speedy delivery! This place is great. They have such a large amount of variety! The awesome thing is that they had one of my favorite ice cream flavors that is only available during the fall season, Pumpkin! I ended up getting three different flavored scoops; Pumpkin, Apple Pie, & macchiato with caramel. All three were delicious!

YUM!!! YUM!! YUM!! ....We enjoyed a strawberry/banana ice cream and a cherry limeaide on our visit, both of which were freshly made. Portions are large almost to much to eat, but we forced ourselves. Next time we will have to try one of the food menu items ...at least . Staff was super friendly and let us taste test flavors prior to making our selection. Just a fun little shop.

Holly Hop is great! We had my daughters second birthday in their party room. The owner is the sweetest person. She is incredibly helpful and accommodating. Lauren, the manager on duty that evening, was just as wonderful. They really take pride in what they do. We will not only be longtime customers but I will definitely recommend them as a party venue to my friends.

This shoppe is so charming. The ice cream flavors are really fun and yummy. Its a great place to take the kiddos. You can play songs on the juke box and dance and just take in all the effort that theyve put into the decor of the place. The staff are always so friendly and fun. This is a go to place in Lubbock.

The best homemade ice cream in a variety of flavors. The 50s atmosphere is enjoyable. For a real treat, play some tunes on the juke box from the 50s era. Go ahead get up and do the twist. Great family fun! An added bonus-the third Thursday of each month they will be hosting a sock hop! Come enjoy the fun!

Very cool retro ice cream shoppe; something right out of the 50s! Great selection of ice cream (to include sorbets), shakes and quite a few other delights for your sweet tooth! My butter pecan ice cream was great and my daughter loved the Chocolate Delight! Have to check it out when in Lubbock!!

Cute cute cute! I stopped in for a single dip waffle cone. The atmosphere is fun, the staff was friendly, and the ice cream was yummy! Its a little pricey for ice cream but I didnt mind because it was a treat to stop there:) and the ice cream was deliciously worth it.

This place is adorable. Ive lived here for 12 years and I didnt even know it existed until 3 weeks ago but Ill definitely go back. They are super committed to their theme and the guy behind the ice cream counter with his bowtie... Stop! I loved it.

Got two cake cones with one scoop of ice cream and a waffle cone with one scoop that was a little over $9 . Customer service was ok. Nice clean place, love the 50sdecor. Lots of food and dessert options, will visit again to try something different.

The Holly Hop is a blast from the past. The menu has a bit of something for everyone. (Even my picky one found the pizza delicious) Sandwiches and salads were fresh and appetizing. I cant wait to try the pimento cheese next time.

Awesome classic 50s style soda and ice cream shop. Malts, shakes, floats, cones, sundays etc and even old fationed root beer and cream soda in glass bottles! One of my favorite places in Lubbock.
