Wow! Very eloquent, comfortable atmosphere. The food was amazing for a cafe. It was more like a gourmet restaurant. We had the LVC burger which you can see in the pics! Crispy calamari with ginger sauce and Cesar salad. Everything was on point! They even made my daughter a smoothie! It wasnt on the menu but the waiter asked the chef and they made an amazing smoothie. We are definitely coming back on Saturday to try the breakfast! And you get a discount if you ride your bike! Me and my daughter rode our bikes and there bike rack is cool!

What a small delight! In San Antonio for the weekend, visiting a friend who lives off Bandera Rd. Discovered this place and are so happy we did! Great regular choices of food, but some very delicious specials. I got the waffle: served with caramel sauce and bananas and choice of meat! It was wonderful. My husband got mac and cheese and bacon pancakes, a special. It was just great! I would love to try their cheeseburgers - I bet they would be good too! I would definitely recommend this small cafe and would definitely go back again!

There are 4-5 tables and total capacity is about 10 people. Literally. A couple of two-seater and a couple of 4-seater tables. No exaggeration. I drove 15 miles to check it out but couldnt sit down due to lack of seating. I was alone. For parties of 4, odds are really small youll be able to sit upon arrival. Youll have to wait for someone to finish and unfortunately, theres nowhere to sit outside to wait. For parties of 1 or two, odds are 50-50 youll get a seat. Not worth the drive only to find no seats.

I have passed by this place countless times without a thought of eating there until two friends raved about it. The venue is unpretentious, humble even, but the food is excellent. Weve had far lesser "dining experiences" at Bobs and Fredericks recently. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and Im especially discerning with sea-food. The service was very good, and the prices extremely reasonable, not cheap, but very fair for the high quality of food served. and expertly presented.

Probably my favorite restaurant in San Antonio ... definitely the highest value. Excellent chef from big restaurant who chose to open a small family restaurant. In a strip mall, but dont be deceived, everything weve had has been great! Salmon farrro salad is a favorite, as are shrimp avocado fritters. Great burger, homemade rolls. Family staff is very friendly. Absolutely cant go wrong at Leon Valley Cafe. (Only caveat: small, so best to call ahead.)

Excellent Excellent Excellent!!! What you want more? OK how about the brunch were having now with banana pecan pancakes and salmon omelet is AMAZING! How about 5 star food without 5 star pricing. Sure its small but Bill Gates started in garage and this family owned business is on its way with good service and food!!!! You need to visit here cuz ur dumb not to!!!! ;)

Yes! Excellent new location, same fantastic scratch made food with great service. Keep up the great work. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Try the brioche, its like breakfast cake. Also, ask for their red salsa-great flavor and nice heat. Dont worry if you dont see a sign outside the new location yet-theyre working on it.

Both the special (duck) and seafood was out when we arrived so I had the burger. It was good but could use a tiny bit more salt and the fried could had been a bit crispier. The entree prices ranges from $10-$26. One of the soup was basically just the liquid soup with a tiny amount of 1 mm noodles about an inch long.

Quaint with surprisingly upscale presentation and choices. The seafood adobo was delicious and we got the penne with peppers for the kids to share (it was probably the best tasting of all the dishes). Our cake was a bit dry but overall very nice place.

Super friendly owners and amazing fresh food. A literal hole in the wall, its so tiny. Feels just like eating at a best friends house when youre little and feel welcomed, difference being your best friends parents know how to cook superb food!

Delicious and unique food. The chef and staff are so so friendly and accommodating. The space is tiny, though, and the hours arent always typical, so its a good idea to plan ahead and call before leaving for Leon Valley.

Cannot say enough good things about LVC. Fabulous food and terrific desserts. Friendly and helpful servers and staff. There is nothing remotely equivalent nearby. My favorite place to eat. Try the calamari!
