The faculty have lunch here most Thursdays when school is in session. Awesome assortment of dishes, barbeque, burgers, potatoes; and slices of pie as big as your hand. We wouldnt be here all the time if we didnt love the food and the folks so much! Great service and great prices!! Love it!!

The breakfast is awesome! But my favorite are the lunches. My favorite are the chopped beef sandwiches homemade potato fries and potato salad. They open early and close early. If you want a great country breakfast, The Hickory House is the place for you.

Ive been coming here since I moved to Dallas 3 years ago. Ive never had a bad or even poor experience with staff or food ! I highly recommend, if you are hungry, come here! From breakfast to barbque to hamburgers and more...You will not be disappointed!

Previous review was logged under wrong restaurant. I love this place. I like the cook because he will tell you in a minute that he has breakfast sandwiches; you get a toaster at Sonic. I get mine with ham, bacon, cheese, hashbrown and mayo. Its great!

This place is amazingly great, the ribs,bake potato and the breakfast are super delicious. The owner will take the time to talk to you and thank you for your business. This place has been around for more than 50 years.

Had brisket and ribs, both were kinda tender but neither had any rub or smoke. The sides were lacking. They serve there bbq with sauce already on the meat. This should tell you something is a miss.

Decent food.. bacon is already pre made as well as the potatoes. Lunch is mediocre.. you get what you pay for. Busy busy in the morning. Order your food, get your food in 2 minutes and get out.
