The service is getting bad. and can no understand how the price goes up from one Thursday to another. We order the same thing all the time sometimes its $32 sometime its $43. And this is with only for 2 people, with 2 free kids meals. Not to mention our order of extra fries didnt ever make it out. We had to got ask for them and were told they are on the way out. after seeing other peoples orders coming out with FRIES on plates mind you. We went back were given and look from HELL when asked for the fries. The extra order of fries were ordered at the same time our full order was placed. So now we have finished our meal and the fries now become an order to go for our Fur babies. This was our family Thursday dinner place. Sad be we now have to find a new place. Its happened to many times.

Atmosphere was cool went Sat evening had a live band playing, food was mediocre. The best thing my family of 4 ordered was the catfish, it was really good. The mushroom and Swiss burger was alright, nothin to write home about. The chicken wings were also pretty good but do not order the shrimp cocktail if you are hungry for shrimp. You get 4 Med (medium is being generous) shrimp and thats it, when I went up to ask about this, I was told that there was a lot more cut up shrimp in the bottom of the glass. Well this wasnt the case as there was hardly any shrimp in the sauce, so for 8.99 you get 4 shrimp and a few incredibly small pieces of shrimp, real generous with the chips tho.

This was our second time. We were here last week for breakfast and decided to try the dinner menu. Hubby had the chicken fried steak and I had the frito potato. The chicken fried steak was nice sized and had good flavor. My frito potato was quite large with lots of cheese and fritos. The chili was homemade not canned. The fried okra and curly fries my husband had with his steak were good as well. This place was quite busy but the food was hot and tasty. The live band sounded good. We will be back!

The Den is a really cool place for families with kids. The atmosphere is awesome. The outside setting in under 2 huge oak trees, there is live entertainment, an outside bar, numerous televisions, but we arrived about 7:55 pm we strood in line to order until 8:24 pm and left at 9:15 pm when we were told our food would be another 20 minutes. For us an hour and a half is too long to wait for dinner. The food is mediocre.

Food was pretty good. Better than most in Lavernia. The only issue I have is: Im sitting here watching a waitress put together utensil packs, grabbing each utensil by the side you would put in your mouth, with her bare hands.... yuk!!! She could have at least grabed the other end or put gloves on. (This customer is really hoping the last person washed their hands) heck... I hope she washed her hands lol

This is a great place to enjoy great food and a great atmosphere. A very unique and laid back place. I didnt have my family with me but I wouldnt hesitate to bring them! Theres all kinds of stuff for kids to do! The outside area is perfect for relaxing and letting the kids burn off some energy. The food is amazing as well as the staff. I couldnt have had a better experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food is AMAZING! They are not afraid to use spices. I have yet to taste anything that wasnt good, there. Atmosphere, awesome!!! Employees are very friendly. Kid griendly. Group friendly. ONLY drawback is there is no wait staff. You have to place your order at the bar. But I still give this place 5 stars because thats how awesome this place is.

Great concept terrible follow through. The food is overpriced and about on par with bowling alley food. Lovely bar but the person who served me couldnt make a margarita. If you want to eat outside in the heat and dust, have an adult beverage and let your kids run wild, this is your place. If you want good food and drinks, not so much.

Waited 45 minutes for order to be ready, only to get it to the table and discover the omletes were both wrong and barely warm. We ate them anyway because we didnt want to wait another 45 minutes...the owner (or hostess) avoided asking us if everything was ok...body language speaks volumes. We wont go back.

Catfish dinner was served on someones BBQ dirty plate. Took it to the every young MOD she offered a new plate of food.....my question to her was WHY WOULD THEY THINK I WOULD WANT TO EAT OFF SOMEONES DIRTY PLATE???? Really!!!!! I had family in town and was telling them how great it was.......NOT ANY MORE!!!

First time dining here. Quality product and solid service. Had the Pulled Pork Nacho,very good. Quest and melted cheese provided a foundation of good nachos. The Chicken Fried Steak was very good. More of a pan fried than a deep fried method. Providing a tasty meal.

Recently moved to La Vernia, have eaten here 3 times, stay longer each time. Great food, comfortable kid friendly atmosphere, Live music, Cold Beer... What more could anyone ask ..... See spending many enjoyable evenings here with family and friends.

Worst place ever. Food is too expensive. Orders never correct and totally burnt. Why do they have a bar and serve alcohol right next to kids play area. Wrong in my book. Will never go back. Oh dont forget they EXPECT tips but you do all the work

A really cool place! They have a huge outdoor seating area, with places for kids to run and a stage for live music. The food is pretty good--one of the best in La Vernia, in my opinion--and overall its just a cool place to go

I have yet to find any food I did not like. The staff is really nice and I loved their bartender Kyle. This place is a hidden gem for all ages to enjoy. I cannot wait for the summer to come so that we can sit outside more.

Full bar, didnt love the margaritas. The was great and our order was ready fast. The atmosphere was cool and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely go back! Great place to take your kids.

We went for dinner last night excellent food the entertainment was great!! Was so good we had lunch there again today. I will recommend the Den to everyone!! Good stuff!!
