I went to this place on faith alone. I have never taken to kimchi and I doubt I ever will. I love all sorts of cuisines but Korean is not one of them. I do love certain cabbage-based recipes though and these burgers look so good in print. So I said "f it" and decided to try it anyway. Boy, am I glad I did. Both the K-town and the Kimchi fries are incredible! The flavors are so complex and overwhelming. I had half of each portion and was stuffed. A few hours later I had the other half. My gut has never enjoyed digesting a meal as well as this one (they do say kimchi is great for you). I cant wait to go back. BTW, regarding my rating on the decor, I think its perfect for what it needs to be for a casual burger joint. It IS however on the modern and plain (minimalist) end of the spectrum. Its not quite a "date" destination. I bet the place packs with friends who enjoy great food though.

Would you pay $16.95 for a small little LA Burger?? I ordered a veggie burger and handed over my card to be charged. Suddenly I realized, I probably heard something that didnt sound right. I asked what the price was and he said 16.95. I thought he probably added something I didnt order so checked. Nope - that was the charge for only ONE burger. The owner came by and confirmed that was the correct price. Wow!! I wonder what exotic ingredients the veggie patty is made of!! I can probably eat a cheaper meal in a high-end restaurant. Another thing, the owner doesnt care for customers. I walked off - I didnt think it was worth that much and that was not the price listed on the menu!!

Im a long-time customer and find these burgers delicious. Sadly, several botched orders, overcharges due to a system bug, and a lousy owner have me reconsidering the relationship. Watch your receipts, folks. Requesting less kimchi increased my burger prices on I-dont-know-how-many orders before I finally caught it. I shrugged it off, but asked the manager to do something after bungling several more orders (some involving family and friends). She agreed to make nice with a burger and took down my info. Days later, the owner refused to honor the offer. Bummer.

Not your traditional burger. I was a little skeptical when a friend recommend the place based on its use of Kimchi on their burgers (normally a Korean side dish), but I was really impressed with the "L.A. Burger" - it came loaded with kimchi, fried egg, cheese, and a 100% angus beef patty. The guys running the restaurant were really friendly and stopped by the table to see how things were and if there was anything they could improve. They have vegetarian options for all the burgers and a number of non-burger items that Id also like to check out.

Ive lived in Houston and just moved to Irving, and I have to say, this LA Burger location has probably some of the best dine in (or take out) burgers Ive had anywhere. The bread is so soft and slightly sweet, the meat tender and juicy, vegetable toppings are fresh. And the best part is that they are CONSISTENT in flavor. BYOB is pretty cool but Ive yet to do that. Sometimes they get overwhelmed with customers (although they do have a sign saying theyre hiring) but other than that this burger joint is amazing

Fix your damn burgers. And your employees at the Valley Ranch chain. The employees are slow, and unpleasant. Your burgers are too salty, too soggy, and just.... not that good. Not enough kimchi goes into them either... Its literally impossible to pick up a burger... I hope the Carrollton ones better... but I dont think its worth trying. I came back from college to try this since everybody loved it so much, but I couldnt understand the hype.

I unfortunately ordered a chili burger which was acceptable but not spectacular. My children ordered Bulgogi tacos and a Bulgogi burger and they enjoyed them a lot. Service was below average though as drinks were not provided upon order and had to be re requested several times. One of the side orders was missed as well. Be aware that everything must be ordered separately as nothing came with sides.

I dont think Ill run into another place like this in DFW, let alone TX. Great customer service and great food. Its ran by two Korean-American brothers from LA. I had the Seoul Dog, LA burger, and K-Town fries. The owners said the LA burger was a favorite, but the other items I had far exceeded my expectations. Overall....good food, good prices, great service. I will definitely come back.

Super great place to try a unique spin on the classic burger. John one half of the brother owner team suggested I try the LA burger along with the k fries and I must say this is one of the best burger/fries combination Ive had in along time. If you happen to be in the DFW area add this spot to your bucket list as they have 3 locations and Im sure more to come

Im not a fan of cabbage, so I was very hesitant to try kimchi in any form. The signature LA burger has kimchi, and so do their (aptly named) kimchi fries. Both are absolutely delicious - seriously. The bulgogi is also amazing (included on those kimchi fries...mmm). Pro Tip: try the Nutella Shake - last I checked, its not on the menu!

This place is outstanding. I dont want to overhype it, but you cant deny that their burgers are delicious. I went with the LA Burger, which is apparently one of their bestsellers, which I totally see why. Add a side of fries and youve got yourself a great complete meal for $9 and change. Staff is friendly too.

Definitely going to be one of my favorites. The people behind the counter were nice, and the price wasnt too bad for the amount of food you get. I got a rice bowl and my boyfriend got a burger. Both were really awesome. Its close to my job so I can see myself coming here at least once a month!

This place makes the perfect greasy, filling, lots o topping burger. I had the Psychedelic burger and my husband had the LA Burger (its on the SECRET menu!). Both were super delicious. And the staff was very helpful in making a choice. Great food, good price, I will be going back.

Now THIS is an American fast food joint that knows what its doing. Great genuine, southern Cali style fusion thats actually hard to find out here in TX. I was impressed by the friendliness of the young proprietors. I will definitely be returning here now that I know it exists.

This place is absolutely fantastic! First time here and I will definitely be back. The Holy Smokes Burger is great but the K Fries are what you really need to try! Cant wait to tell my friends about this place. Its nice and clean and the staff is super friendly and attentive.

BEST BURGER EVER. Its not too crowded depending on what time you go. They gave me a free chocolate shake because of an order mistake, which was nice, they were really friendly, they are definitely my favorite place to get burgers and I would 10000% recommend.
