I will start with the positive comment, the food was great, i ordered chicken biryani, i was the best i had in Irving area. The negative comment is, i ordered Biryani to go and the guy over the counter told me the waiting time will be 20 mins so i went out and waited in my car. After 20 min i went back to the counter and showed my bill for my order. he told me its not yet ready, and i waited there for more 20 mins there but no response, and finally one other guy came to me and ask what are you waiting for, then i showed my order and he gave me the biryani immediately, which means my order was ready long back and it was kept at their counter. I questioned him you guys make me waited for 40 mins, and that guy with so care less replied me that we already called your order number you didnt respond. Ok i agree but its again their duty to follow up on the completed orders right. When i asked this question he was screaming at me.I felt bad left that place. That was the bad experience i ever faced in any restaurant.

If any thing this place only survive by name "Bawarchi Biryani Point". Will never visit this place again. Yesterday I took chicken biryani as take home parcel. I waited 20 mins for them to parcel it up and keep it ready.. when I got home and opened the parcel, there was only rice with very little flavor of chicken and no chicken pieces in it all. Worst experience in my life. Will never come into this place again. If he did not have chicken biryani or it was over, he should not have sold it to me. Just for a few dollars, he has ruined his reputation. Everyone reading this review, please consider your options very carefully when going to "Bawarchi Biryani Point" at this location. Worst of worst experience. Very bad experience I had today.

When it comes to taking the order, the ladies did a good job. For 2 orders they took nearly an hour, upon frequently asking the status, they kept saying....10 min. Their phone orders and 3 other orders that came after mine were catered to, but mine was kept pending - reason was they didnt get any one rush the white rice that came with my order from the kitchen. Hilarious! They didnt have the minimum curtsey to apologize for the delay. The movies they chose were inappropriate for younger kids that were having dinner or waiting on their orders to be catered. The simple paneer dish and the veggie korma dish were ruined in terms of taste, i am never going back there again. I would rather go to the next door chaat corner or Sarvanabhawan.

I had very bad experience here. The curry was very salty and i could not even eat. I mentioned it next day when I went there again, but the girl at the cashier counter would not even bother to say sorry or at least did not even show it on face. So finally I asked her why she is behaving so, because i was not even asking her my money back. All I expected was some curtsey sorry from her. Her answer was she was not there when this happened.??!! Well She represents Bavarchi she cant say she was not there when customer complain about something . (In my case it was not a complaint , I was just informing about the bad curry i got!!!)

Iwould probably have rated 5 for the taste and ambience this restaurent provides..but the behavior of the front desk guys was not tolerable..We gave an order of some biryanis n wer waiitin for out turn..mean while people who came after us wer getting their orders ready..eventually we wer only the people left..when i went to her n asked..she said she did not take the order n didnt enter into the system..I asked her why didn you..she said straight away whether i want to order it or not..It was literally askin us to move out..She can really bring down ur business unlike the taste which always attracts people to ur place

I have been a regular customer of bawarchi. While I was living in plano I used to visit the franchise often and I have tasted almost all the non veg curries. I moved to Irving couple of months ago and thought to give this location a try. I found the chicken curries here are tastier than what i used to have in Plano location. Since I like spicy food, I have always requested to increase the spice levels and they were perfect. Decent service and wait time. I would definitely recommend this place for people who like South Indian cuisine.

I come here once a week for one thing only: Mutton Mughlai....now I had been ordering it since February when I used to live in the neighborhood; at that point, the Mughlai sauce was nothing to comment on. But this past Saturday they had a new chef working.....WOW!! The Mutton Mughlai turned into heaven, and just like home cooked. Not only that but when I asked for less bone in my Mutton, the kitchen was so very generous. I cannot say enought about this new chef, although he did not give me his name. :)

I Ordered Chicken 65,Chicken Lollipop and NatuKodi Chicken Curry. I am So Disappointed with the Lollipop and Chi-65. The Lollipop was just like any other kebabs they roll chicken into Bamboo Skewers and sell it, and chicken-65 had stinking smell. Iam giving two stars because, the only thing i liked was Natukodi Koora. Customer Service is also not good. I wouldnt recommend any of my friends here.

Called in and placed an order (Chanakya) of 1/2 tray Gobi 65 for pickup after 4 hours. Just 15 mins before the scheduled pickup time, I get a call from Bawarchi, that they will not be able to be able to do/make it. I was supposed to pick this for a party, but went empty hand. Mr.Srinivas, is this fair? Food quality is good, but this taking customer for granted attitude is worst.

I love this restaurant as one of the best Hyderabad I restaurants in thus area. I love their Chicken Mughlai. Their biryani is also good. The seating is not great but good enough to eat. I usually take the food to go. They also have good snacks. Like Indian pastries, chicken patties etc must visit if you like Indian food.

Worst desi food i ever tasted. We ordered Hydrabadi dam biriyani. I wouldnt know biriyani can be that bad, if i didnt visit this restaurent. The egg they had on the biriani is atleast a week old. There were three of us, and none of us could finish the food. Do yourself a favor and dont go this place.

The person to take the order has cheap attitude..... most of the time the debit/credit card does not work!!!! Food is good.... but because of the attitude of the person i give the lowest rate. I wish there was an option to give 0. Not going back to this location anymore !!!!

One of the good Indian food places in the dfw area. Is specialized and known for its biryani and other hyderabadi cuisine. This is one of better locations of the chain. It is a little small but comfortable seating and does not get to crowded.
