Who hasnt had their mouth water watching those catchy Outback Steakhouse commercials? I mean its just human nature to be drawn to a Land Rover rolling over Sand Dunes to a Beach Party with huge steaks on the grill along with fist sized seafood cooking away. I certainly didnt expect to find that at this location in heart of DFW when I went there recently, but I thought at least the food would be similar to what you see on TV. I ordered the Wedge Salad and a Filet to the waitress who was attentive and went over the daily specials with us. When the Wedge Salad arrived I had a suspicion I was in for trouble as the "Wedge" was fit for a tiny Aborigine King. Besides being small, there was barely any Blue Cheese dressing on it. The Filet was then served if you can call it that. It was closer to a piece of shoe leather out of old Hobo Joes used Bass Weejuns. It was small. It was tough. It DIDNT LOOK LIKE ANYTHING IVE SEEN ON THE TV SPOTS. Jokingly I told the server I didnt realize Hamster was being served these days. My friends steak was about the same quality and most of her meal ended up in her napkin as Dime Store Beef Jerky was more tender than her steak. In Recap, Two steaks, two drinks, 48 dollars blown. So, if you want to experience what you see on the Outback TV Commercials, dont go here. You will be sorely disappointed.

I decided to treat my family to a nice dinner here tonight. I was in no way let down! Christian was our server and he was absolutely perfect! Everything came out in a timely fashion and tasted delicious. Christian anticipated all of our needs without us having to ask, or even look for him. Ken, the manager was amazing as well! I ordered a drink from the bar that typically comes with a cherry, but Ken knew it would be better with and orange... and it was! Ken also noticed that my mom hadnt eaten much of her sandwich. He first offered to comp that off of our ticket, but after we said it wasnt necessary he brought her a sauce that would make it better for us later. I worked in the industry for 6 years, I know outstanding service when I see it! Tonight was fantastic! Thank you Christian and Ken! You guys stay great! Sarah

We went here for the first time in many years for lunch yesterday...I ordered the Filet, baked potato, salad, and FROZEN strawberry margarita...Hubby ordered the Sirloin lunch special, with potato, salad and iced tea...Our steaks looked alike...both looked like a piece of boneless pork chop...dry & thin..my FROZEN margarita was no where NEAR frozen...it was cold but not frozen...salads had hardly any dressing on them and what was on it had no taste...over $40...the lamp which hangs down over the table was so bright it blinded us to look up at each other or the waitress....mentioned the light was way to bright to the waitress ...she said that she would dim it....never did....will NOT return...

My anniversary was almost ruined. Asked for a booth and was told one would be cleared off in the bar. 2 other couples came in after us and were immediately sat in the main dining area at a booth. If the goal is to insult and ignore long time customers then mission accomplished. Never have I been treated with such indifference. Customer service is not telling one customer nothing is available then have 2 customers come in behind them asking for same thing and seating them immediately while the first customer is waiting and listening. I most likely will not come back. There is right and there is wrong and what this place did was just wrong.

I havent been to Outback in years because their menu was so boring & outdated. New location opened near my home a while back, so i finally decided to give it a try. I arrived around 430 on a Friday, sat at the bar. Nice, clean,chill atmosphere. Fully stocked bar with tvs and some signature cocktails. Unfortunately not many HH specials.:( The bartender was very polite and patient since i hadnt been there in a while. I ordered crab stuffed mushrooms with butter sauce, awesome. Then had sirloin,loaded mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. Everything was good and i will definitely be back soon.

Horrible. Only been there one other time 15 years ago and now I know why I never went back. Made a reservation, got there and was told it would be 15 more minutes, turned out to be 40 minutes more standing outside in the heat, got seated took a half hour to even het,a waitress to the table. Finally ordered an appetizer and drinks, another half hour or more before we got them. Ordered and then waited over an HOUR and a half for food, finally told the manager we wanted the check and because we were leaving and tl still hadnthe been served. That place is terrible.

We went there for fathers day. I called ahead to get our name put on the waiting list, waiter said it would be 20 to 25 minutes, we drove up there and it took us 15 minutes to drive up their. We ended up having to wait another hour. Looks as if we were skipped over because the manager seem to know the group that got there 20 minutes after us. After we seated while we were eating our food, we were sweating very uncomfortable because the air conditioning was not working at full rate . Along with decent service.

We where very disappointed with service! The waitress we had would only stand in corner talking instead of seeing what else we might need and filling the drinks. It was another waitress that finally asked if there was something we needed. the food was not that good. They have a Margarita that is supposed to come with a shot of tequila, waitress said they put it into the drink, even though the description of drink clearly stated that the shot was on the side. will not be returning to this location.

My steak came out just a little over so i ask the waitress to return it. No big deal. The manager brought it back out. After a few minutes je came back over to apologize and make sure all was well. I was a little embarrassed by all the attention but the entire staff were amazing and friendly. The food was delicious but I will return simply because of our waitress and the manager. What a nice friendly experience. Two thumbs up

Went to outback in Hurst, tx!!! Had a CRAPPY waitress by the name of Wendy!!! The couple next to us was offered salad and was brought out a bigger and more tender steak!!! I was brought out a 2 oz steak that was burnt and tasted like shoe leather!!!! The pasta had so much Alfredo on it my daughter could not eat it!!! For a place that prides themselves on good food sure missed the boat on this one!!! I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!

The food was good. But I cannot say enough about the staff. The owner was there and was very active in running the restaurant. If you are elderly ask for Amy, she is so sweet, kind and patient. Our food came out quickly and well prepared. The restrooms were clean as well as the rest of the place. I had never been to an outback but I doubt Ill ever go anywhere but here. Blown away by attention to customer satisfaction.

Mediocre sums up our experience. The bar had no draught beer because the lines were not staying cold. You could tell the bartenders did not feel like working. The food was average at best. The highlight of the dinner was our waitress she was very nice. She found out it was our anniversary and gave us a free dessert. I will stick with Texas Roadhouse from now on.
