Recently started going here, about 2 months ago and will keep coming back. Pool tables are some of the best in the Midcities area, service is great most of the time; had one time where it was, but they were short on staff so it really didnt hurt my feelings to walk 10 feet to the bar. Food is decent for a bar, only qualm really is they dont serve even appetizers past 11(Im just tired of having to take my drunk friends to IHOP). Now comparing to Texas Billiards(NRH), Pockets(Bedford or Euless not sure which) price is near the same for alcohol and hourly pool, except the service and tables are better here. All n All theyve gained a new customer for a while to come.

Abhorrent service. I have never been here nor will I ever after what just happened to my friend at this establishment. I still cant believe it. My friends mother died and my friend was having a drink to talk about her sad experience. The bar manager handed her a note saying " I dont want to relive my FATHER DEATH could you please go to a table to talk". (The grammatical errors are not a mistake.) The manager laughed and yelled at her accusing her of assault because she pushed her drink towards her after being disgusted by her actions. Ghastly. Such a nasty experience, I would recommend this place to my enemies. Fire that manager or lose all your customers.

Old fashioned smoky neighborhood dive bar with lots of pool tables, games, TVs and very good atmosphere for a suburban Mid-Cities strip mall. Prices were decent, food was average, but the service was very good and there was enough to keep our large group entertained. Drinks and shots were blended well. Clientele was blue collar types, housewives, empty nesters, retirees, billiards fans, and the whole place has a solidly working class vibe about it. Nothing pretentious here. Dress casual and come here for the pool or sports games if you live in the area.

Dont go here. The characters in this bar are sketchy and perverted. One patron pretended to be an ID checker and guard, so he asked for all of our ID--found out he didnt work there. Another old man told us that we were getting complaints about us taking up too much space while playing pool (he didnt work there nor was he even playing pool). No, we werent being disrespectful, we are adults and learned how to respect others space. Not to mention the bar ladies look like trash and over charged us for our short time we were there.

It took forever just to get service! And why have waitresses if they wont wait on you? Drinks were ok at best if you enjoy paying the normal price for liquor and actually getting soda with a splash of liquor thats your place to go. Bartenders were friendly but out of the three I saw behind the counter only one knew what she was doing. I really liked the pool tables. They were well kept. I love seeing new bars and playing pool but sadly I dont recommend this bar to anyone.

Great local place. Its been here since I was a kid in 99 or earlier and I couldnt be more pleased its still here. I moved in 2000 to MN, came back in 2013 and shes still here, but better. Great service. One of the few places you can come play shuffle board, pool and drink. At least in HEB. You can smoke, so anti smokers or smoke Nazis, have fun somewhere else. Bar food is good for a bar and the menu is very large. Fun place with great atmosphere.

I would call Volcanos a dive bar but it is really way too big to be a dive bar. It is really more of a blue collar Fox and Hound. Tons of pools tables and dart boards. TVs with the sports on but not pretentious at all. I dont know the word for anti-prentenious but that is them. The people are friendly, but the service isnt johnny on the spot but it is realtively attentive. The atmosphere is very casual and laid back.

Lovely bar, good atmosphere and plenty of pool tables. Plenty of great music on the jukebox. Patrons are nice and talk about everything from sports to Comedy Central references. The best part of my experience was the bartender Morgan, she never got an order wrong and was attentive and never lets a glass go empty. This place is worth a visit.

Terrible service! Its a waiting game for your drink to arrive and thats after you have waited for or tracked down a waitress!! The waitresses dont like to be bothered and the bartender is obviously put out by having to make drinks. Way over priced so like other reviewers go to another bar where there is good service and cheaper drinks!

Ive never been there however a friend of a friend of mine was treated horribly by one of the managers there. Im not going into the story, however this so called "manager" should be removed! Because of her behavior (the managers), I will let people know far and wide to NEVER step into this place.

Agree 100% except "Head bartender" (Christy)wasnt as rude as she was DRUNK! Seriously if your too drunk to speak, too drunk to listen,too drunk to remember,& too ignorant to keep your mouth shut....Im still unsure of the number of times I was contemplating her Degree of Delirium!

We go to Volcanos frequently. In general the food is good, affordable, and there are lots of activities. Music, darts, poker, pool... The girls are pretty friendly, but I have noticed that sometimes it is hard to find a waitress bc it is usually busy.

This place is okay. The servers are very tentative by checking up on you. The regular customers though seem to be less friendly and alot of times they have shuffle board/dart/ pool tournaments, making it nearly impossible to play in the evenings.

Great little spot. There is smoking inside but if that doesnt bother you than this is a spot to check out. Pool tables, dart boards, and shuffle board. Great for locals and all others looking for a drink and a place to kill some time.

Great place Savannah is a great waitress with great service ! Food is really good especially for a bar ... clean place the only thing I could complain about is the toilet seats ... they where horrible ... but thats minor !

Decent bar with plenty of pool tables, darts, and shuffle boarding. Not really big on specials and crowd is older than regular bars. Still a good time with some family and a pitcher. Worth a visit or two.

Pool tables are some of the best in the area, very well maintained. Free darts and good shuffleboard tables. Good food, better beer, what else do you need at a bar?
