Too smokey and not a very friendly place. We stopped by just to see what it was like, as we have been looking for fun places to go. Have heard mixed reviews, so decided to try and form our own opinion. Its a shame because the location is good and this area needs entertainment, this place has potential and sadly ownership/managment failed to meet that potential. The other poor reviews are pretty accurate. The staff is hit or miss, as we observed other tables and customers around us. This place is way too smoky to enjoy the subpar food. The drinks are overpriced and almost liqorless. I would suggest making them stronger and tasteful so that your customers would want to buy more. Have drink specials. By the way, Pinot Grigio should be chilled, not room temp, especially if bought by the glass. One of the beers we ordered was barely chillled. The bartender claimed it was just tapped, even so, he shouldve apologized and offered a fresh cold one, allowing my friend to order a different tap that was actually chilled. Im not sure its worth a second visit. Especially after reading other reviews. I would love to see this place make a transformation or get new management, it really does have potential, based on the size, the existing entertainment (pool tables, darts, tvs, sand courts, etc), location, etc. One review suggested you have fun events like arm wrestling...thats cool, you should do more and advertise it better, improve your website and social media. Its a sports bar, make it enjoyable for those of us who like this sort of thing want time come and more often...not even the locals that come here are friendly, that too makes it uninviting, as one of your out of towner reviews indicated. Send the smokers outdoors..in a smoking section (your location isnt in Porter afterall), sorry I dont mean to offend, but it is a deterrent and mood killer for non smokers and smokers alike so agree food and cigarettes together dont make an enjoyable meal. Let me know when yall have made some improvements, I wouldnt mind giving you another try.

I am sitting in bar right now. The bar it self is nice and spacious. And this is my very first time here at this location. I am greatly disappointed in the customer service. I ordered a salad a simple garden salad with grilled chicken, keep in mind we are watching the Texans & Kan. City. We were here way before game started. Place was not filled as of yet,.. We are now in fourth quarter of game and still have not received that simple garden salad. So we gave them another chance. We ordered wings. Took another hour for them to arrive. Then on husbands tab, charged him for an extra bucket of beer that some else at our table ordered. No one seems to care that I never got my food, I asked to speak manager, never saw the manager, so I cant tell you if its a he or she. I want them to read this. It was our first time out here at this location. We drove an hour from our side of town to meet up with family and friends to eat good food and watch the game. Im very disappointed.

Wish I could review the food but unfortunately we were traveling and staying at a local hotel so we decided to try out Coaches. We walked in and the bar had several people sitting at it but we didnt really want to sit at a bar so we waited for someone to acknowledge us and tell us where to sit, or tell us to seat ourselves (no sign, no hostess) so after standing there several minutes and being looked at like we had horns by some of the people behind the bar, we decided this must be a "locals only" bar and no others were welcome. See ya!. Take my advice and go on down the road to Wild Wings. They were very nice and the food was great!

Our waitress was horrible. She came around every 30 minutes. Then brought me a drink.. took two sips and couldnt taste any liquor at all so I had another girl who always gets it try it and even she said no. So the waitress bought me a new one yet then charged me for 2 at the end of the night because I drank some of the first one. I also ordered wings and fries. Fries came out 25 minutes after my wings and she tried to tell me the normal fries were there seasoned ones. Another guy at our table ordered boneless wings and she brought him normal ones and after he complained she said oh we dont have bonless

Well since my last review things have definitely changed up at Coaches. They have completely turned around they have done some repairs to the building to make it look nicer, they have gotten a good set of waitresses Cassie, Corri, Lacy, Lois, and last but not least Megan and a great set of bartenders Katy and Stephanie, they even have high quality napkins. Way to go everyone for your efforts to bring coaches to a fun and safe place to come unwind from a rough week at work.

My experience going here for the VERY first time was horrible! We walked in and we werent greeted by anyone, sat ourselves at the bar and after sitting there for 10-15 minutes without being acknowledged we just got up and left! There had to be about 4 people sitting at the bar not enough people for 1 of the 2 bartenders that were working to atleast give us a beverage napkin and/or menus to get us started! Ex waitress btw....smh

First time visiting this Bar & Grill for steak night. The waitress seemed lost with too much going on. My party requested items and never received them. Steaks were ordered well done, they came back rare. Sent them back and they came back medium rare. The manager was great about the situation, and took care of my party. Then she invited us back next week for a more beneficial experience.

Nothing special. Free bar poker on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays can be a few hours of cheap entertainment if you dont mind going home smelling like stale cigarettes. Food is typical bar food quality. Drinks are collage bar level. Hardly any premium liquor and no ultra premium. Beer selection is kinda limited, though there are the usuals, for sure...

Service was pretty bad we ordered our steaks and drinks at the bar so the bartender became our waitress the other people in our party arrived and they waited more than an hour for the food because she forgot to put the order in. She would check on us then forget to bring our drinks. We asked for an extra plate numerous times before she remembered.

place was nice service was bad sat down for 10 minutes ordered a soda thats all I got, no one asked for a refill or if I wanted anything else drank the whole soda then ate the ice will not return or recommend next time will go out of my way to Coaches on 290 & Jones where you are treated with respect & kindness

Myself and others had suspicions this places was overcharging and slipping extra items on tickets. On the last visit I kept track of each item ordered. The bill had 2 extra items on it and 2 items overcharged for. The staff refused to correct the issue and blamed it on the computer. Will never go back.
