My husband and I attended their performance of "Marriage Can Be Murder" in November 2013 because of a Groupon we bought. Once you are seated in the room, your table has the program set out for you with character information, clues to open at specific points, and bribe money for the characters if you want to get extra information from them. The performance is all around you as characters walk between tables and stand around the room. The performers seemed to have a lot of fun with it and we enjoyed the experience. The food served was good, wasnt great food but we didnt really attend for the food. We enjoyed our night and would encourage others to give them a try and would probably attend another performance ourselves.

The seating and the combination of people were a little bit on the rascist side. People come here to have a good time and the last thing you expect is for the organizers to be rascist. There were two table of white people, one for black and one which had one couple missing, was made up of a black couple who was celebrating their birthday and us, an Asian couple. This is modern times, organizers, everyone likes to blend including the white supremacy. It was an entertaining show otherwise though I could not understand the southern accent too much. We are from New England and originally from India. The food was good and they had a vegetarian option too.

I took my 4 year old daughter with me. While she didnt understand, she still had fun. Her favorite character was Leena Love. The food was great. The clues amusing, and the chicken prize at the end was also fun. I also liked how they brought all the characters back out so she could see that the victim was fine (and not actually dead). It had a lot of corny humor and I liked the music. The characters interacted and helped us. But, why take my word for it? Try it out for yourself.

As a Houston performer, myself, its nice to know that when friends are looking for something to do and they ask me for a suggestion, I can always send them to Mystery Café! An enjoyable evening is always going to happen. The scripts are funny, the actors are professional and the shows are a blast! It is so much fun to watch the audience try to solve the murder as the mystery unfolds. Never a dull moment at Mystery Café!

I have watched two of their shows: Killer Karaoke and another which they are no longer showing. The food is great and the shows are simply amazing. Solving the clues, bribing the actors with fake money, and getting to win silly prizes for both correctly solving the crime (or being way off like I usually am). They are great! I would recommend them for anyone!

Visited the Mystery Cafe several months ago and had a very nice time. The food was very good and the entertainment was really fun! It was a different than ones that I had been to before. Not only did the audience interact like others I have been to, they had members of the audience participate as characters. I would recommend it for a fun evening out.

I took a small group to Mystery Café for Valentines year before last. The show was good, kind of corny, but we all enjoyed it. Unfortunately, this last year they were running the same show and we took our group to dinner at a nice restaurant instead, but everybody kept asking me if we could go back to The Mystery Café next year, hopefully we will.

I went with my daughter and we both had a wonderful time. The others at our table were friendly and funny. The actors were interactive with the guests and the food was excellent. A fun time for everyone, and everyone left with smiles on their faces. What more can I saw except to try it, you wont be disappointed.

My experience at the Mystery Cafe was a great one. It was my first murder mystery dinner and I had so much fun. The dinner was delicious and the performance by the actors was on point. I didnt guess who the killer was but it was okay becuase I still had a awesome time. I will definately go back soon!

The script was good. Easy to follow with enough red herrings to keep it interesting. Cast did an excellent job. Great ad libs. Never a dull moment. Lots of fun! Gave only four stars because the meal was just ok.
