There were fruit flies in the lemonade! I informed the cashier who got me a new cup and said hed go clean it with vinegar. I was given my food and took one bite of lobster bisque that didnt taste right. I have frequented the Maine-ly location on Shepherd for at least a couple of years now and ALWAYS love, love, LOVE the food (and lemonade). Then i could hear the associate (who was apparently newer) talking to his manager saying that he needed to get onto the day people because they are supposed to be disinfecting daily, but it obviously hasnt been getting done. This was my first visit to this location where my husband and co-workers visit (not anymore), and I was so disgusted that I returned the food and requested a refund! I will still continue to visit the location on Shepherd, but when locations are mismanaged and neglected, this hurts your brand! I may return to another location due to multiple positive experiences prior, but there are many that will simply see the Maine-ly name and remember how disgusting and dirty it is.

I have never had a lobster roll before so I dont have anything to compare it to, but I love lobster and I love rolls so I thought Id give them a try. I got a half lobster roll and a cup of clam chowder that was served on a cute little tray with oyster crackers a piece of salt water taffy. Tender, succulent lobster lightly dressed and seasoned served on a buttery, toasted roll. The clam chowder was steaming hot with soft potatoes and lots of chewy clams. It was the perfect amount of everything. The best part of the experience was the friendly service.

This place is great! The lobster rolls are as good - and better - than most of the places in Cape Cod Ive tried. When I went, their soup of the day was clam chowder - perfect! And it all comes served with some great salt water taffy. My wife doesnt like taffy - but liked these. Next time, we have to order the house-made whoopie pies. They had samples by the cashier, and they were amazing. They have other things on the menu... Id consider trying the crab roll. But I dont know why youd mess with anything else on their menu.

A neighborhood gem, Maine-ly Sandwiches offers a unique fare of lobster and crab sandwiches, along with other northeastern delights. Be sure to grab a whoopie pie, they make them fresh in-house. This well decorated and clean restaurant has lots of seating options and the restaurant is family owned. The closing manager told me that the owner and his family are at the restaurant almost daily. It was such a delightful surprise to find this place.

When you are craving a lobster roll or crab roll this must be the go to place! The food is hits the spot everytime. However for the price I would prefer to have a larger portion of seafood as a half a roll is ~$10 w/tax. The lobster bisque is really good! The atmosphere makes you feel like you are at a lobster house in main. Enjoy their signature laffy taffy!

LOBSTER ROLLS! Idk why they even have other food on the menu. Lobster rolls are enough to bring me in time and time again and thats all I eat. Clam chowder and lobster bisque are delicious and the staff is friendly. A bit pricey especially since I go [way too] often, but not too bad with a Groupon which they sometimes have.

Meh, its okay, but not $45 for two people good. The lobster bisque is good, but the lobster roll wasnt that special. They started with decent quality ingredients but failed to delivery in terms of flavor as well as customer service. You can go to Quiznos and get a better tasting seafood sub for about half the price.

Its expensive for lunch but oh so delicious. I always thought the point of lobster rolls in Maine was that theyre actually affordable there. A small lobster roll/chips/drink will set you back $13/14 and probably wont fill you up. But its sooo tasty, so splurge. Tender lobster on soft, buttery bread cannot be resisted.

I wish there was a way to describe how good the food is without sounding cliche. I get a particular sandwich the way want it. It tastes like a 65 degree, sunny day with a slight breeze. It tastes like being at the beach, in the cool of the afternoon, with your best friends. It legitimately reminds me of my childhood.

Food tastes great but not worth the price i dont mind spending the money. I would pay 30$ for a lobster roll the way they are supposed to be not for 2 small souffle cups of lobster. Your basically paying for bread. Google a lobster roll and compare the pics to the pics on these reviews its actually quite funny.

Lobster rolls are amazing - buttery and perfect. I removed a star because of price - its expensive, even for lobster. A half roll isnt filling, even with a chowder and a whole roll and a drink will run you >$20. The chowders are yummy too. I go here when I feel like splurging on lunch a bit.

Best lobster roll ever. If youve ever had a lobster roll while in New England youll miss it once you leave. Go here! Takes you back to New England with the first bite. Weve eaten at this location and the Shepherd location. Absolutely love it and love their whoopie pies!

Before they opened the only time I got decent clam rolls and lobster rolls was when I went home and had an eating contest at the Tamarack in the Weirs or The Weathervane in Concord. Nice folks, good food, a little taste of home for a granite state expatriate.

Loved the clams, but wasnt enough for a large $28.00. Still loved them. I am from Boston a,d I know seafood. A bit pricey. Reminded me of Maine. Pics, decor and great customer service. Go if you want some good seafood.

Absolutely pathetic. Never go here. $14 will get you a lobster roll so small, i literally thought they handed me an empty bag. Three bites later, its gone, and now Ill go have lunch. They got me once. Never again!!

Had the half roll, with clam chowder and a mini-whoopie pie. All of it was wonderful! That was my first ever lobster roll and I will definitely go back again! The other two in my party also enjoyed theirs.
