My girl friend and I went Hus Garden at noon with the Groupon we bought ($25 Value for Four People). When we showed then the Groupon, the waiter told us we cannot use it because we have to be four people and order at least two Entrees. I said this requirement does not show on the term. But the waiter told they just changed the policy so you just cannot use it. This is really irritating and does not make any sense. Thats it? No, not really. When I told them that we will just cancel the Groupon and about to leave. To my surprise, the waiter talked to another waiter in Chinese, these two SB (In English: these two Morons). I think the waiter did not expect we can speak Chinese and I almost have a fight with him. Anyway, if you go there, they may also curse you with dirty languages. BTW, just FYI, it is about 12pm when we were there and there were only 2-3 tables filled in.

Hus is a traditional (by that, I mean Chinese restaurant in America) place. The menu has a nice variety of items and we were there for a Sunday lunch. They have the standard $6.95 - $7.95 item + soup + egg roll lunch menu but also had other menu items available. The service was very good, nice quiet atmosphere (although the TV on with a Chinese satellite channel on was a little different because of its prominence), the food exactly what you would expect from a restaurant with Kung Pao chicken, Hunan beef, etc, etc.; good but not differentiating from others like it. I would go back if in the area but wouldnt seek it out either. A good experience overall.

Went there last July 5, 2016 for take-out: Ordered The Mongolian style Chicken & Shirmp and the Jalapeño Chicken & Shirmp.... when I got home opened up my container.... it was the worse smell that came from the food. It smelt like old spoiled fish. I tried the food and noticed that the shirmp was old and spoiled. I spent over $50 in this restaurant. Wanted to drive back to get my money back, but it was too late in yhe evening. Not only that.... the order took forever.... about 45min. Then when I asked for some extra condiments... they were very selfish with them. I will never ever spend my money in this restaurant again. Sincerely, A unhappy customer

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My bf called to place a delivery order (apparently we live outside of their delivery radius) and the guy was extremely rude and laughed at him. So he hung up and called back to speak to the manager, turns out the rude guy that laughed was in fact the manager. I called to see if hed be any nicer to me and he was WAY nicer to me than he was to my bf. I dont know if its because Im female or because I spoke to him after my bf told him thats not how you speak to people, but either way this is NOT somewhere I will ever try again considering this was our first time trying this place.

Delivery driver was very rude. Had multiple orders for everyone around the office. Everyone gave money for the food and said keep the change from each order as a tip. Before we could ask him how much did the tip we gave him equal up to the driver says "what no tip?" And THROWS the money back a us. He tried to leave with our food but we got him to stay and called his manager. The manager was very nice about the situation, but we will never order from there again. Hopefully there are consequences for his actions.

Ordered 2 Tso Chicken dinners and combination fried rice at 6:00pm. I called at 7pm asking what was the status..was advised that they were in route. Food didnl not arrive until 720 pm and every single item was ice cold! The soup the appetizer and the all of the entrees. The rice was greasy. And the chicken in the tso was extreamly dry. I called to complains and I was told that maybe I should pick it up next time. This was my first time ordering here and this was definitely my last. Very dissappointed!

This has become one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite. The General Chicken is amazing (especially if you like it spicy). I always receive great service, my food is always hot and fresh, and theres never a wait when I call an order in ahead of time. Ill never forget realizing Hus would be closing in 5 minutes calling and still being served as if it was early in the evening. Thats what I call customer service! Love love love Hus Garden!

The food is alway good. It does take a while 45+ minutes but its worth the wait. We ordered again today. I thought that I ordered 6 pork egg rolls. Not sure which of us got it wrong but it didnt matter. I called and told the man taking orders that I had received 6 of what I thought were spring rolls. He had the driver return in what seemed like just minutes with the correct ones. Lunch served :-)

I am an Asian food fan (Helps to keep me small (smile)). This is probably one of the best Chinese restaurant in Houston and trust me I been to my share. The service gets and AAA+ and the food is outstanding. We always get the dinner for two so we can get the Appetizers. I have not been disappointed. Going today!!

I didnt try the food, but was talked to very rudely by a guy who appeared to be the owner. I asked a couple of questions while ordering and his responses were very condescending; so much so that I asked him if everything was ok, to which he gave no answer. I decided to just leave and wont go back.

Its a surprise to read a review other than something good. I have had their food on numerous occasion and have never been disappointment. Always on time, always as ordered, always delicious, and always sent (if by delivery) by a laid back/kind team member. Great choice to dine!

Great selection of vegetarian options... and tasted fabulous. I had Vegetarian General Tsos something or another (menu has pictures, youll figure it out)... it was Fantastic! Server was fabulous too... Even though we dined in, close to closing time, we were not rushed. Thanks!

First time eating here. Highly disappointed. I saw someone else say it can be hit or miss. I guess I got a miss. Couldnt eat more than one bite. Food was very bland. Not sure if I will try it again. Food is supposed to make you feel happy, this food had me depressed.

Just went today for the first time and really loved it! We dined in and had our food within 5 minutes of ordering. We were very pleased with the food. The hot and sour soup is delicious as are the Sesame and General Tsos chicken dishes. Definitely coming back!

This place is very hit and miss sometimes you will get something good a sometimes it will be nasty... Their vegetable egg rolls are disgusting literally tastes like a pile of bland cabbage fried in an egg roll wrapper...

This is the best chinnese restauraunt in houston....I been going here for 5yrs....My super favorite is general tsos chicken.....staff is great they know me as soon as I come in.....i love this place....
