Food makes the place. I loved the food! It was spicy though...so be sure to get mild if you dont like the kick. I got the buffet which had about 15 items to choose from and the employee (host/owner/server?) saw I was kind of lost as to how to best fix up the food and came to my rescue and fixed the most delicious plate of beef haleem! I had to get 3rds of that! My wife ordered some food from the kitchen. It took about 15ish min, and she liked it, but it was a bit to spicy for her. Atmosphere was so-so. My wife and I went there on a date night expecting a sit-down restaurant, but here you walk up to the counter to order, and if you get the buffet, obviously you serve yourself. They clear your plates and bring out bread and food if you order it from the kitchen. But it was clean and well maintained, just not anything special. The food was very good and I am glad we tried this place and will definitely be back!

Yesterday, me and my uncle went to Tempura Grill restaurant for the dinner buffet. The dinner buffet included Beef biryani, chicken Tikka, seekh kabab, naan, Raita, salad, Haleem, chicken Korma, and Lahori fish. The food was excellent!!!!! The dessert was also excellent which included Kheer. I enjoyed the food over here, for 11.99 its an EXCELLENT price. If you looking for good pakistani food, you need to come to Tempura Grill Restaurant. The food is excellent here!!!!!. To the owners of Tempura Grill Restaurant. Keep up the good work!!!

Today I went with my family for buffet and realized they have changed the decoration which looks really good. Besides, we were welcome by his new staff member, he greeted us really well and took an excellent care for our food and provided amazing service. I noticed that he goes table to table and made sure that food and service is satisfactory. Good change and an excellent addition to staff, forgot his name but he was wearing a Tie :) The best food and service in town :) keep it up Tempura Grill.

I have lived in houston for 4 years and tasted food in almost all indopak restaurants around and would like to give Tempura Halal first place from all aspects of hospitality, excellent food, I specially like the naans and payas, tastes authentic if one has real taste for payas. I wish they keep up the same quality and taste for years to come.

Excellent Food, fresh, Good Value for the Price..The food is cooked Fresh by the Owner and his Wife. No Pre Package SPices here, they mix their own spices, and Best It is ALL HALAL..Family is well known in the Community, they provide food to all the religious places in the area and we eat there 2-3 times a week and have always been happy..

Small flies all around the soda machine. So I ordered a canned Coke. Sat there for a while and tried to get over it. Then I saw them open the buffet and thought "nevermind, not after reading the reviews and being swarmed by flies" and I dont mean 1 or two gnats, I mean a dozen or more. Food might be great so I didnt give it a 1 star.

For family of 5 (3 kids.....12, 9 and 3 yrs) the total came out to be more then $100 Which was ridiculous speically when the food wasnt good...most of the things were cold, puris were very stiff, nihari was tasteless and dont get me started on katacut......we have been going to tempura for eid buffet for the last 4 years but not anymore.

Tasty recipes for a decent price. This all you can eat buffet is worthy of note as their dishes are good and unique in taste unlike many other buffets where you have one or two main items and the rest is just cheap quality. I have become a regular since my first visit and i always leave satisfied. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Havent been here in 6 months and yesterday I went there and remembered why. . I am sick after eating there and the food was nasty. . The butter chicken had beef mixed in it and it was just like eating something which has been frozen for weeks. . The health department needs to check this place out and shut them down! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I am not Indian or Pakistani, but trust me, I know good Indo-Pak food and the buffet food at Tempura Halal Indo-Pak Grill is very good and tasty. The sauces are delicious and their naan bread is perfect for mopping up the sauces and leaving your plate clean...like I did. I will definitely eat here again.

The chicken Biryani here is one of the best in Houston..and the desserts too are awesome..I have been a customer since 5 years..but the taste would be great only if it is made fresh ...usually the taste it is at its best on friday as they usually have it fresh that day..on the other days..its u r luck...

Rude employees have no respect for customers, food sucks they can do better but wish not to! I will never visit them again in my life again, especially never want to see that lady whos a manager or what so ever rude as hell! I hope they learn how to respect customers one day!

Had a really nice experience there yesterday. We were treated there with so much respect. The buffet was awsome. We live in Plano, Tx but were in houston yesterday. They told us they were going to open a location in Plano, soon. Will definetly go there. Recommended.

Never going back to the one on FM1960. Ordered chicken tikka legs - 4 of portions. None were even cooked fully. Threw it away. No point even trying anything else. Wonder how others are rating anything more than 1 star. Even the 1-star is for a decent internal look.

Today I purchased garlic naan during my dinner I found a cockroach in the naan I called them and went to there to show them but they were smiling and have no excuse and shame even they didnt say a,single word of sorry. Very ridiculous non professional attitude.

Came here a couple days ago with my Pakistani friends. Theyve been bragging about how great the food is over at Tempura. I liked it. Very simple setup and delicious food. Chicken Tikka was on point, and our service by a lady was amazing.

Best Indian-Chinese on northside. Service is confusing during buffet hours - but help yourself to the plates and water/soda and pay on the way out at the register. Theres no wait service other than naan and plate pickup.

This is the first time I am here . But enjoyed the buffet must try chicken tikka, ghosh biryani, chicken malai boti and fish fry , chicken butter masala. The best part is its not expensive for the kind of food u get.

Just had buffet, they have increased the price & decreased the food quality, found beef in chicken makhni, complaint to the owner, he just laughed it off. Not going back again big disappointment!!

We visited this couple of times. Once went for Sunday buffet. The varieties are very less for the price they charge. Food quality is just average. Do not call that colored rice as "Biriyani".

Worst service with Wars food was served today Iota Chile chickens with rice chicken you cant even cut it with a knife look like the you needed an axe to cut it just killed my appetite
